I have some questions:\n\n1. Why is this video only showing African immigration when they represent the smaller immigration group. This is disingenuous. Why don’t you show the real immigration stats. \n\n2. The gentleman that spoke about his suffering and not having a stable place, living in his car etc, what is the reason? Why can’t he find employment or can he find employment but it’s not enough to pay for rent? \n\n3. Using the same man as an example, why is he Canadian born suffering (assuming no drugs or mental illness) but there are people who come on student visas, get a job, a house and then bring their 90 yrs old grandma over. Put a $1m insurance policy one her head and then buy an esso.\n\nCanadian is becoming very costly. I am experiencing this too, but while watching this documentary I got the impression it was solely to exploit an narrative. It would be better to make a documentary showing people working, blah blah and still having to go to the food bank because of the rising cost. That’s a real system problem\n\nMy heart goes out to those currently struggling with any drug or mental issues. I wish for a solution that will save lives and rehabilitate

The faster we Ukrainians win russia the faster everything will come back to normal in the world. People keep forgetting that everything is connected. Now a lot of Ukrainians come to Canada due to very easy visa, and the majority of us don't like Canada at all but we really don't have any other choice. So keep donating to Ukraine, honestly. :)

If people think they can just stop immigration or send anyone back, they are delusional. We need to better vet applications, cut down on asylum seekers, reverse international students back to 20 hours/week work, no one walks in from US and claim asylum. When someone comes to study, the focus should be studying and not working full time. Stop sending billions to other countries and start investing it on our housing, infrastructure and services. Give tax benefits to small businesses and startups. Strict gang and crime laws. Finally, stop giving free drugs to addicts and have better rehab and resettlement facilities. Above all, people have to stop thinking the dumb idea that anyone is being replaced or anything.

How many people are prepared for whats coming this year

I live in North York but I work often downtown (truck driver), I've had multiple homeless people walk out in front of my truck while I'm carrying 60klbs without so much of a glance to see I'm coming down the road. I have them bang on my windows while I'm waiting for offloads, they've thrown change at my truck. I pity them, it's so sad what they turn into.

Why is it all indian people coming here really why ?

I am an international student, just wanted to ask Canadian people, why target international students, i am from India, i can guarantee that any Indian student coming to Canada brings at least 100k investment that directly gets used by the Canadian economy. My problem is why target us rather you guys should look for people who are coming to this country like refuse and use candian tax payer money and get all the benefits Canada offers, but us on the other hand we pay taxes like normal citizen. Just ask this question to each and everyone.

Before Canadian create a standard for foreign people want to migrate to Canada in terms of point system which involves education and other criteria in order to process application but now people are bypassing the system to easily come to Canada it took me 3 years before my application got processed why now just on student status can start apply for a job isn’t it the main purpose was to get education not job for Canadians. As an immigrant myself who came 12 years ago I had to work 2 jobs and study at night French to be able to adapt. When I came I already had a university degree and then did my masters degree here in Canada . At the end it pay off I had a good job now. The main requirement for people coming to Canada should be an university degree at least as in the past . That shows you are able to learn and adapt to new things plus you have knowledge about a specific field .

I'm all for bringing in the 'skills & talent' with new immigrants. But these new Canadians must fit the criteria that Canada needs and they must come in through the legal system, be properly vetted and willing to abide by the laws of the land. Instead, what Trudeau is bringing in through open borders are freeloaders, people who take advantage of the welfare system and refuse to work. And many of them have long criminal histories. Some even insist on bringing their quarrels with them along with the hatred they harbour for other groups of people. Then they proceed to protest in the streets about what is going on in the countries they left and worse, they harass others on college campuses and elsewhere because they don't like their race, culture or ethnicity. We see it everywhere. And if we Canadians complain about it, we're called every name in the book. Not fair to Canadians. Not fair to those who are waiting in line to come in legally.

They keep saying we need people to fill all these vacant jobs. And we need all these skilled workers. The truth is that there are NO JOBS. The government is Lying. And these people coming into the country DO NOT HAVE ANY SKILLS. Many are going to school here to get an education/skills. The idea is that they return home after they finish school. But that's NOT happening. They remain here and take jobs away from Canadians. They get hired over those who are Canadian. We all know this to be true. In addition while going to school here they bring in their whole family. Now it's costing the Tax Payer to look after these people. Many are older and require Medical Treatment, drugs, surgeries, etc. Immigration does NOT stimulate the economy. It drains our finances leading to bankruptcy. We are fast being replaced and our culture is being dissolved. Just look at other countries where this has happened like Britain, Ireland, etc.

I am shocked to learn that people coming on Tourist visa (from developing countries) to Canada can apply for Job here and once hired can change visa status while in Canada. Never have I ever heard about this while staying in UK on work permit for 4 years that UKBA /Home Office has ever approved such low quality visa that Trudeau is flexible about. Neither Harper's/Kenney's administration (under which I immigrated to Canada back in 2014) has ever approved such cockamamie change of visa status. You have people who have close to minimum wage jobs who bought a house in the 90s or early 2000s and are winning the lottery with their home being worth 2 to 3 times what they paid for it.
