The key is to make sure we have the infrastructure in place to support everyone and that’s not the fault of people aka immigrants who come to this country and are told life is good here. Trash thrown everywhere. Driving laws completely broken. Fireworks going off till 4am and the trash left in the parks and fields all over from their celebrations. Million dollar homes going up but only for renting out every room in the house with people that don't care of the landscape and keeping the area clean. Crime is up multiple times over than it's ever been. Jobs are being taken over with poor service being paid cheaper wages or under the table avoiding the taxes. Driving without a license or paying insurance. Fake licenses, fake IDs. Oh yes it's all happening and happening so fast. This is being spread even towards the north now hitting all the small towns with their real estate signs being planted in just about every corner you can drive to.

Why do they keep showing Justin Trudeau? These problems have been building for decades. I sold my house 5 years ago for over 100% what I paid for it, and lived in it for about 5 years. The current government had been in power for two years at the time. Toronto was my home town...I am now 73 but have lived in Norwich, England for decades. My relatives have moved out of Toronto to the Muskokas; but they always tell me how expensive the city now is. My cousin was in real estate so he knows whereof he speaks! Another cousin has moved to New Brunswick. I cannot go back any more because I always see more societal decline and it depresses me thoroughly. The Toronto of the Centennial year 1967 I will always remember fondly: a paradise! Problems seemed to be something other cities experienced. And the Leafs won the Stanley Cup!

Canada hid its inflation in the housing market for a decade. The economy appeared to be growing, and real wages appeared to be staying in line with the consumer price index, but it was smoke and mirrors. If you removed real estate, GDP was stagnant. Wages were actually falling behind and people getting poorer and poorer without realising it. That’s finally become unsustainable, and inflation is showing up everywhere. And the wages are still stuck. The country is sitting on hugely valuable resources it could develop had it not put so many self-created political barriers in the way, and having indoctrinated their population about it along the way. Separately, The healthcare system is getting worse, consistently ranking 2nd last in the OECD in terms of real results delivered. The biggest problem is that the country’s economy is built on immigration to drive growth, rather than productivity, efficiency, or innovation. The more people you bring in, the more housing you need, but they’re at the point that they can’t keep up and people can hardly afford housing anyways. It’s a recipe for disaster. I left Canada by coincidence, having met someone from another country and moved there. I’m glad I left.

I left Canada in 1985. My grandparents were Canadian born, but I could see the trend in the 80’s when the first waves of Chinese were welcome to move to Canada with money, buy real estate, business interests, and provide tax dollars for a Government that was addicted to spending and would never satisfy their Liberal agenda, with the tax revenue alone from hard working, productive Canadians. I have never regretted my move, and have watched Canada sell citizenship and resident status to anyone with the cash. You reap what you sow. Canada has become a country of mutts, while a relatively small and declining population of native born Canadians pay high taxes, deal with crime and the raging drug crisis, fuelled by foreign immigrants who will never really put Canada first. Why should they? The Government has set an example of National prostitution, that begins with open borders and ends in despair.

They need price cap restrictions on housing based on square footage and whether or not it's blue collar housing or Luxury housing call it regulations & or nationalisation of real estate util prices are wrangled into cotrol

On top of that empty homes sat across Bc and Ontario with the owners living abroad...this problem has been existing for the last 40 years...and the typical MP bought out by Chinese government with election money blame Mexican migrants and International students form India. How despicable. Drugs are entering Canada from China. The Chinese cartels are puppeteering the Sikhs to sell drugs and fight over territory by drive by shootings and burning cars..all planned by White cartels working with the Chinese cartels. As long as there are massage parlours for white people owned by Chinese, there will be discrimination of. this nature and level against ethnicities to take the heat fro the Chinese and throwing them under the bus.

All of this is caused by corporate greed gumming up the system with lobbying, NIMBYism, and plain old corruption by large real estate and rental groups. Love or hate Trudeau, it doesn't matter, either Liberals or Conservatives would have let this happen. The system is working as designed. Corporate greed is sucking the wealth and value out of North America and if we don't push against it, we'll continue to see more of the same. This has been happening for decades, this didn't begin in 2015. It's just we're now hitting the tipping point where everyone wakes up and realizes that blindly chasing profits doesn't create a strong economy or a strong country. You have to invest in your people if you want your country to thrive.

home ownership is out of control in Canada because of Chinese moneys in real estate. I understand this is targeting Justin but the real issue is the Chinese investment pushing up prices to unreasonable levels. This is happening in other countries like Greece. New millionaires are picking up real estate in record numbers and thousands of new millionaires are being created in countries like India and China. Many of this could be money laundering like Russians and Chinese do in London and Dubai. What Canada needs to do is make it more expensive for overseas investors to buy homes, crackdown on criminal investments, increase the stock of homes, and reduce construction costs. Trudough does not have the balls to do any of this, as liberals generally lack discipline to be financially prudent.

As a immigrant who recently got Canadian citizenship, I would like to clear few things here. I noticed that the host of the show has some wrong perception in his mind for international students. I agree that the basic jobs should be allocated to the young population or elderly population and international student should sustain themselves, but on the other hand why don't' the colleges charge the same fees that they charge to domestic applicants ?...the international students pays 5X to 10X the fees that the local student pays for the same courses. Also, when the student applies for visa they already pay 20000K to a Canadian bank for the future monthly payments that they will get so sustaining is not a problem. most of these students work so that they can contribute to the 5X fees that they have to pay. Also, when it comes to skill, the students skills are assessed by the universities and colleges and only after that they come to Canada. If you see an immigrant working in Tim Hortons or Food basics, don't worry he will be out of there in 2 years to a high paying skillful job that local population won't do. Now, when I say all this the immigration problem is real, but it is not because of the student who comes here, pays higher fees and than work in Canada, pay higher taxes and contribute to GDP and economy. your problem is with refugees and immigrants who are brought in mass immigration, who does not have skills. Because this is the population which you brought with to match the labor shortage but can not work so you provide them subsidies, assistance etc. and dig a hole in government funds...…now for the host he seems to have an agenda against Indian immigrants in particularly. I don't mind that though we are used to it. I don't hate him but can he make a video for other countries as well ? how Many Chinese students who didn't even past the language test come to Canada to study and drives expensive cars even without working a single day ? how you bring a immigrant under refugees status from any country to match labor shortage, but who also has 5-7 kids which means you get 1 guy benefiting Canada with 5-7 person who will take benefit from Canada?.....
