For so many reasons NO. In 75 years have never even seen or touched a gun. I’m repulsed by the infatuation so many Americans have for them. I hope to never step foot in the USA again. I’ll fly over it to holiday anywhere else. I hate to generalize but so many Americans care to know nothing about the rest of the world. I really enjoyed your video and comments plus learning more about the world around me. I would never move to the states because of the I would love to have my kids to feel safe and have a proper education that is open minded and aware of the world around them and not taught things that are not true.

Hi Tyler....you might Google how many school shootings in US in 2023....and the year isn't over! Also, I checked with 3 different generations in my family (educated in 2 different provinces) and each one reports that in grade school geography we all learned about each state, capitals and it's location in USA....and the other countries in the world. I.enjoy your videos ....I like your curiosity!

Why sidestep the war on women’s reproductive rights? The folks you quoted in the video have this opinion which is as valid as anything you read aloud. The fact is that this is actually happening in the United States, under penalty of law. It is not pro life, it is however the antithesis of the freedom Americans pride themselves for. Pro life means responsible gun control, universal health care for all, child care for working families and an education that promotes the truth in history and learning critical thinking skills so students can grow up to be rational, caring human beings.

My family came here legally my mother busted her ass, and tought us the same. You have to work to succeed. Not that this is easy, as knowledge, and skills need to be learned. I would think this to be the same elsewhere.

@Tyler, I think you need to learn about guns in Canada. You seem to think that we don’t have many. To the contrary we have A LOT of them, we just don’t make it our culture! We learn what they’re used for and that’s where we use them! We also have better safety around guns and they can be seized for certain reasons, such as family violence, mental health crisis etcetera…

I'm too Canadian. I would get eaten alive. The fact that I could be killed for innocently turning around after getting lost....I'll pass. I would have to unlearn my entire life and then re learn how to be on alert 24/7 and scared of everything. I enjoy not having to think about how to live, and just...live...I feel like it's a huge unnecessary headache on the daily. The added stress of what if's over there (get sick, break a bone, lose my job, take my kids to school, etc) is too much to enjoy life comfortably.

Oh Tyler. I've been watching your content for months now, and I do wish you would read and interact with your commenters because you would learn so much. I'll just comment on one fact. As a young, white, childless male, I doubt you would be affected by most of the reasons people who visit and know the US here in Canada would think of. Most of my friends are in the US and I livestream with them 5 nights a week, and every time a ma ss shooting is reported, we hear about it and suffer along with you too. \n\nFACT: The number ONE cause of death for children and teens in the US is Firearm related, so gun deaths. Yes it's true, and there isn't a single friend of mine who isn't scared to express an opinion, or send their kids and grandkids to school or Uni. wherever they live in the US. Statistically speaking, almost every citizen in the US is going to know someone who is un-alived by gun violence. We have strict gun laws here, and I wouldn't trade that for anything.

i think you should have read the rest of that post at 10:48 just another reason to not go there alot of places denying basic human rights is complete lunacy in 2023. i know i will never go there even for holidays me being trans it is a high risk running into the wrong group or person (it is low risk but i have seen enough crazy looney tunes on here to be scared). just way too many ignorant people learning from ignorance is the worst combo which is one of the internets biggest flaw.

Canadians are far more critical of America than Americans are of Canada but that doesn’t mean We think Canada is better. Personally, I see far more benefits in the two Nations merging on 5 levels that can only serve us best. My advice for Canada:\n1 - obviously LOWER THE TAXES ! ... this is basically a SCAM! ... 30$/h may sounds good while in reality is less than 20$/h because of hidden fees(Taxes) ... YOU ARE SCAMMING PPL!\n\n2 - Its utterly stupid to ask for doctors and architects when you don't have a proper vacancy waiting for them, make the immigration process way easier , as soon as a vacancy represents itself act on it and get the ppl in, don't do all the licensing/registrations ... all that over kill process slow the whole thing down , let them learn by doing !! ... that would get the ball going way easier and way faster! , just make sure immigrants who are willing to do it have a good understanding of english.\n\n3 - Easy up on the registration/licensing process , not everything needs to be perfect , let the doctors, architects and technicians work as Interns Immediately or even Pre-Interns .... that way you would have more doctors and no body needs to wait for 2 years for a fkin CHECK UP! ... that is sooo buzzer and I bit its only getting worse!\n\n 4 - try make organized Social events to allow people to socialize better with each other and make friends or families...\n 5 - for the climate, doing nothing 9 months a year is stupid! and boring! , u must find a way to make inclosed warm facilities for newcomers and residents to enjoy.

To all of the imigrants who want a better life. STUDY hard and recieve your education in your HOME COUNTRY and get as many qualifications as you can. THEN learn ENGLISH, communication and Microsoft office. Congratulations, you are now JOB ready. NOW come to Canada, other countries other than your homeland. So Sikhs can carry knife and call it KIRPAN. Recently in Gurudwara there is a shoot out and people were killed, so is there any explanation of defending others there. Don’t support someone and educational institutions is the place where you must leave the religious aspects especially with weapons. Solution: elders teach their grandchildren languages that weren’t erased by genocide and environmental /spiritual cultural practices and lifestyles before they’re gone by paying first people elders and streaming it into all Canadian classrooms so the children can see a future where they’re valued and all Canadian kids can get a full education and learn accurate history. Making canoes, baskets, sacred ceremonies, food growing (that they taught to pilgrims so they’d survive here), etc. No, I’m not indigenous. I’m an immigrant like all but the first people. They’ve an amazing culture that’s been all but lost . When we don’t see ourselves represented in any media, any careers, and start our lives in extended poverty based on our race, and all that was taken still today, it’s no wonder the teen suicide rate for indigenous youth is more than double / triple all non - indigenous youth. The numbers are growing. \nI live in Care due to my physical disabilities . An international nursing student worked for me providing personal care like showers, meal prep etc and over that year, she said she wouldn’t have moved here specifically because of a few things I’ve mentioned. She told me Canada was sold to people in her country of origin as a ‘multicultural’ safe haven without extreme racism still prevalent today and within our history. \n\nI’m ashamed of Canadian government promises for over 100 years that aren’t fulfilled. All children deserve healthy drinking Water and an education. Period. Especially, the ambassadors of this amazing land that they see as themselves without separation. That’s accurate. We will have nothing to stand upon if we don’t protect the earth. It will go on without us. \n\nI see many things in the comments I’ve seen or experienced, unfortunately. Ever heard of a country call Jamaica ??? Its 99 percent black, they have one of the highest homicide rates in the ENTIRE WORLD. It is a shame that this woman faced some ignorance, but the arrogance of trying to label all Canadians as white supremacists is sad to say the least. I am white and I faced a ton of racism growing up from the indigenous community in my home town. Did I call them all racists? No, what I, and many other Canadians did and still do is make the effort to learn about these other cultures rather than playing the victim and then slandering the good, hard working, tolerant people of Canada. If she has so many problems with racism in Canada, well as our lovely cousins to the south say, leave. After reading more of these comments I now realize my words would fall on deaf ears, so many victims here. I represent a large group of people who do not judge any by the color of their skin, but rather by the content of their character. Sorry, blacks are discriminated every where in the world, even un African between blacks and blacks which becomes tribalisme or nationalisim.. i face discrimination at work from time to time but it does not stop me from moving forward, i just learn to chose places or people whom are good to me period..?
