As an Indian these so called students were dumb to leave India where growth is taking place and go to Canada, I think in long run it is good if a few get dissed. The stupid fascination with western country is purely dumb. \n\nSome even have a lower pay in Canada then India, and the leaving conditions and white collared workers becoming blue collared. Makes no sense. So yeah Canadian should do as they please.

Deport my god what happened to Canada. These people only associate with their own and block us out. Come on really housing has gone un afordable. You can find many family's under one roof. Housing is not reachable for young Canadian family's who want a back yard. Housing that was $15,000 or so is $500,000 up to un reachable a crap tear down I seen was $535,000. And you need to build a new house. That use to be around $60,000 to $120,000. Canadian family's don't have a chance to have normal priced housing any more because of over immigrants. Wow any idea why people are crazy to enter canada bcoz standard of livibg is good in your country and any idea how much cost it occurs to stay and study in canada i am not good in conversions but lemme tell u its very very high people literally sell everything they have in india to go and study there now just assume why do people sell like crazy people just to study i mean think about it bcoz of PR they sell like crazy if they can invest that amount in india they can get a degree from good universities in india and good jobs but if the same amount is invested in canada the standard of living will improve by obtaining canadian citizenship now if u r sane person think about it its all about standard of living and its not crime to look for better life and at the start of applying in universities of canada a job and PR were available as options so indians applief there with that intention now if u change those rules overnight the money we invested is just thrown into dustbin and i dont know why people think its wrong things to even protest on that if u hate immigration that badly dont show ur anger on indians or other immigrants show that anger on ut government for showing us indians a better future and allowing us indians to enter ur country legally with PR in future prospect Nd why do u think even after such outrage on immigration canada yet allows immigrants bcoz its simple people spend like crazy for such oppurtunities and canada has taken advantage of that and now canadians like we got ur money so get out from our country wow i ddidnt know people can be this greedy and selfish.

This is too much all at once ...Canada knew it had a shrinking aging population last century..plenty of time to have a gradual tapered immigration. They have a right to stay because this is not about Canadians or Indians. It is about humanity. This world is for every one. Canadians can also move to India and have a peaceful life. Am an African and we have many people from other countries living with us but we don't force them to go because this world is for all of us. Even Canada is not originally for white people. Temporary foreign visitors to Canada whether on student visa / work visa / travel visa DO NOT have any rights to dictate immigration policy to Canada. \n\nIt is for Canada to decide whom to welcome, whose visas to extend or discontinue based on Canadian priorities and strategic interests.

Sorry, my parents immigrated to Canada in the 80s from communist Poland and they never received a penny of assistance from the government or taxpayer. Immigrants are supposed to come with a skill set they can sustain themselves from. The explosion of international students and low-skilled immigrants has damaged the economy and taken away jobs from young Canadians just entering the job market

Thanks Trudeau, soon enough we will be able to walk across lake Ontario, just like the Ganges. First hand knowledge here, while enjoying a day at a park, a Hindu/Paki or whatever they were numbering about 50 having a picnic/family get together, age ranging from 1-80 with 20 or so full grown men. Despite their being a trash can every 20 metres, and numbering 47 total in the park, the family left the garbage all over the ground and tables and left. The mess, considering 50 ppl you can judge for yourself. Now in our world if I call the law on them I am a racist. The Canadian way is gone, new arrivals think that we should adapt to their ways, not the new arrivals adapting to ours. Canada was once a great nation, no more it costs your whole cheque just for rent, then you need to work another job if you want to eat.

It’s so difficult to see a doctor now in Canada. 10 million more people than the health care system capacity can accommodate. The lodging price is skyrocketing. Canadians who elected Justin Trudeau twice should be held accountable for turning Canada into a third world country.

Sadly we have extremely weak leaders in Canada. Our Canadian young people thanks to DEI can’t find summer work so they can afford the next semester at school. They came under false pretences. I have a question for all the Canadians is it still worth to move to Canada like Alberta or Saskatchewan despite the inflation taxes weather and those problems through express entry I kinda have a pretty strong profile and may get provincial nomination in Egyptian but still in Europe cause of studying and internships so is it worth it?

They said i just have to pay 150k Indian rupees ( around $1900 USD). Found out later canadian government have tie ups with these agents in india and are attracting young indians to move to canada under 6 months on PR by selling huge Canadian dreams filled luxury houses, cars and all that nonsense. Believe me canada is the easiest country to move from India and the cheapest one too. I'm glad i rejected to move to canada everytime they pitch me those ideas. So please do not hate indians. Even they're being duped by these agents and canadian government.

Every international students MUST go home after they graduate!! They CANNOT use their student status to stay in Canada & take jobs AWAY from Canadians!!! No more international students!!!

They all have fake admissions letters to Canadian academic institutions there are unscrupulous agents in India who are sending these students abroad to Canada using fake documents… this is what is really going own know they don’t want to leave so they are doing this ?. I do not drink coffee or eat fast food. So I have no need for these people. Get your education and get out. I am an immigrant that came to Canada legally. No one bent the rules for me nor for people whom I have met here that are also immigrants all legally from several different nations in Europe as well as Caribbean and South American. All actually hold decent paying jobs nurses, engineers business owners ect. They work hard to make a life for themselves and their families to become successful Canadians. Send all these students back when their time is up. If not it’s only going to cost Canadians and immigrants that contribute and wish to be Law abiding Canadians that do more than serve food and coffee.

This is just the beginning, once a precedent is set these protests will go all over in Canada. All these students are coming for only one purpose, ie. to get Canadian PR. Once this precedent is set, world over immigration consultants will sell this an easy opportunity to settle in Canada...come as student, Strat working right away, do some protests and bingo, get the PR.

As a Canadian living in the USA, I know I am not a citizen, I pay my taxes and keep my status up to date. My son had an administrative issue in his last year of college, he had to go back to Canada for 6 months, it delayed his graduation by one year and delayed his ability to work in the USA. You follow the rules and file all the paperwork

If you are a Canadian teaching ESL in Japan and your work visa expires, you are sent home. Japan is awesome, arguably better than Canada, and yet there are no entitled Canadians there who expect Japan to change it's policies.

I am speaking as an Indian, who lived and worked in Thailand for 2 years, and now will be moving to Europe on a specialist skills visa. Indians as immigrants have been a productive addition to any country worldwide, compared to other nationalities. But the only exception case is in Canada. \n\nThe reality is, in Canada, the majority of immigrants are only from a specific part of India (Punjab), and most of these people are deluded, uneducated and unskilled. You are 100% right, they are not there to upskill or even contribute. I can bet these people have not even lived in big cities in India itself, they come from villages and small towns and have never seen how modern societies or even cities work.\n\nI feel sad for Canadians because most of this is their government's fault. Canadian university taking official bribe from India or Pakistani or Bangladeshi students instead of checking their qualifications is the main problem to begin with. You can deport students.
