I moved from Toronto to Brampton in 1989. My dad is from India. The neighbourhood I currently live in is great with a mix of all different nationalities not only Indians. Im an Indian from the state of Kerala. In my class from college nearly 20 of them came to study in Canada. Believe me these people who come are not that academically good the fun fact is that the academically brighter ones never went abroad all of them got a decent job in India itself.. I'm not saying that all of them coming are trash my ex gf now in Hamilton was extremely bright and got a decent job there..the basic issue is that Canadian government must have strict standards for foreign students Australia has it. Why are the three most expensive places in Canada the top three. Many immigrants have left Canada to go back to Europe because those three are too expensive. I would suggest Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba would be better places to start living in Canada.

The education in the United States is horrible in Canada. All schools are treated easily money is put in a pot in a provincial pot and it is shared with all schools in the United States. The money collected in rich area goes to the rich schools and the money collected in the poor area goes to the pools poodle school so your kids, start off at different levels of education. They are using the student visa to get IN to Canada, FIRST, and from there an immigration consultant who normally are from their own ethnic background will persuade these students under false pretense that they (consultant) would be able to help them get permanent residency. This is a scam in itself by their own people.\nGovernment should make a stand regarding the student visa policy on temporary work permit for students, then after the program ends, they should go. Why grant these thousands of students permanent residency at this time. There's already a problem of housing shortage and soaring rental cost happening at the same time. \n Manitoba's 2 year extension will attract these protesters in PEI to move to Manitoba. Bet on it.
