Haven’t people studied abroad in the past with no issue? Like exchange students ect? Why now are there all these expectations of staying afterwards? I feel bad that they were lied to by agencies in their home country, but their anger should be towards them (the people that lied to them) not the country they are a guest in. \n\nAlso, I haven’t researched this but, I wonder if they behave the same and make demands of other countries they study in, or if it’s just Canada they think they can walk all over and push around.

You can hate on people as much as you want. Fact: is not everyone who’s Indian is bad or causing any problems. \n\nSecondly, if immigrants from other countries like Europe Usa etc. don’t like the immigrant they should ask themselves to give land back to the native ppl who originally from canada. \nI will request to everyone if you don’t like the immigration do protest against government they are the one who brings ppl in. The only Canadians that live in Brampton are the homeless ones. the rest of Brampton is full of foreigners. Unbelievable how entitled these people are it's no secret that Canada's job Market is flooded with foreign Indian workers. We can allow millions of Refuges from others countries (War) (no criminal check), can pay them ( $ +2000) just to stay in Canada but those who are already living here not free( rent, 3X college fee, serving food to your table) should not stay here ? \n\nRemember that once your parents or grandparents were immigrant too in Canada.

Never comment on someone's weight. I have had several people from other cultures think that is OK. Also, never ever ask or assume a woman is pregnant. Even if you are helping her deliver the baby never mention it. I was a little bloated once and a new Canadian thought it was sweet to mention that it is exciting to see my little baby bump showing. Canada is a wonderful country for me and my family. I don't know any other country that would be so loyal to foreigners. Perhaps it was easier for me to adapt here, because we are from a European country where Christianity is widespread. We love Canada and embrace its traditions. Winter sports are great entertainment for children and adults. We also celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Canada Day and more. My children quickly adapted to school and I am happy that they like it! The people here are wonderful and friendly, always willing to help. There are so many possibilities! Why do we have such different impressions about this country?

It is truly expensive to live here but it is doable as long as you are hardworking. For me, this is the most beautiful place to live in compared to other provinces. The average income for a single person in Canada is not $100k Closer to $50K and that's after putting in 10 to 20 years depending on occupation and being lucky enough for the company to last that long! In Canada no industry is safe or stable anymore!

Little late to the conversation, but i only recently discovered this channel. I can agree with the majority of opinions in general, politics, guns, healthcare etc are all better here in Canada. Sure there may be safe pockets in the US but that’s not typically an issue in Canada. You don’t need to strategize where to live here based on that stuff, but may need to take into account the weather as it drastically varies within Canada. \nMoving to the US would typically be based on a job opportunity and likely wouldn’t provide much choice in location - go where the work is and unless it’s opening a small shop somewhere or working in a rural setting, you’re likely going to be in a bigger city where the majority of the violence is. Even so, with laws like ‘stand your ground’ you could get shit anywhere if you piss off the wring person. In Canada, you might yell at each & flip them off, then you just walk away without concern of being shot. You might get jerseyed though. ?
