To all those people saying the Indians took your jobs. You’re full of crap. Tons of work in this country to do. You are just too lazy to look for the right one. Speaking as a Canadian who have left the country in 2021 and NOT looking back! \n1) healthcare: the quality and quantity is falling dramatically. Doctors are leaving south, healthcare budgets are keep being cut every year by our wonderful government. The quality is very poor. Waiting lines are insane! Ilyou can seriously spend the while day/night with your sick child in a waiting line at a hospital. Average is over 12 hrs already!!! \n2) criminal situation is worsening every year. Even in the best neighborhoods you no longer feel safe. \n3) schools/education: same thing. Teachers are leaving due to low wages and larger classes. Separate tutors for kids with special needs are being more and more limited. \n4) i know you mentioned it, but i want to reinstate: CRAZY food inflation. \nI have no idea how people are making it in Canada. Get this drama idiot of of the government people ? I want my Canada to prosper and thrive, not keep falling down the cliff

Went to canada in 2005 ..... completed my masters in wireless....got honors...worked legally for 5 years ....applied for PR...with all legal.papers ....but got rejected and never given a reason..i felt so bad...and moved back to my home country (India )....worked in many major companies and became an expert in my field....travelled around the world happily..earnin and leisure...im happy canada rejected me...though the country is beautiful...it is makes everyone feel like a labor worker.....i feel privileged out of canada....God always gives best to good and honest people...

$5000 per month in Liberia Africa can get you a literal mansion. And i’m not just exaggerating. People think Africa is just too bad to live in. You can get a very nice 3 bedroom apartment for $500. I'm irish-finnish and my ancestors came here from a combination of 1900-1948 and they were very hard-working people and made an effort to put everything into trying to fit into the older canadian society, so I respect them. Sometimes they weren't treated well and were disrespected but they tried so hard to make an impact in our country, even if it might've costed them their lives. I respect anyone who comes to Canada and tries their best to be a hard worker and integrate. However I don't respect anybody who comes here and doesn't try to fit in and leech off being a student. You never enter somebody's home and claim it's your own.

I still think the No 1 reason is the weather. If you are a top talent, you don't want to spend 4-6 months in snow. The government has to work extra hard to make the country attractive, but they are not. I also don't think elected a different leader fixes the problem. I'm born in the UK to Serbian parents, but grown up in Norway so I've seen three different cultures in my life all at once. I always liked Canada for being diverse because then I wouldn't have to switch between being English, Serbian or Norwegian, I could be more me because I am basically multicultural. For years I've idealised Canada and it wasn't until just two weeks ago that I got to visit and see for myself what Canada is like. I was in Toronto and also in Vancouver visiting a family that moved there from the UK I hadn't seen since I was a kid. I loved the nature (Especially Vancouver my god!) and the people, but I learned about how extremely expensive housing in Canada is to the point that it would be hard to make ends meet just renting a place let alone buying a house. Also how immigration is out of control and those who do come to Canada are disproportionately from one country being India rather than many different, which is not good for maintaining diversity. This is something I saw having lived most of my two weeks in Mississauga just south of the airport.\n\nI hope you guys finally get someone better in the next election, because I have more hopes for Canada than I do for the UK. I'm Canadian; lived abroad for several years (in Europe). I returned here a few years ago and one of the things I love about Canada, which I really noticed was contrasting to Europe, is that we are not afraid to be self-critical (even extremely so), to re-visit the injustices in our past, acknowledge them, and work to try to rectify them. Also, there is a strong sense of community: most Canadians want to help improve their communities and help our fellow citizens. There are indeed some serious problems, as there are in all other countries, and we hope to overcome them and improve our society by working together. For me, one of the beautiful things about a country, what makes its society really interesting and even attractive, is our ability to constantly recognizing our mistakes and faults and try to improve upon them.

Now please make video on why you want to leave India. Canada is a country for creative people and not for average people who are always complaining. You need to know how to work hard and be successful here in Canada. I know very successful people made good life in Canada including myself. Good Luck!!

In Canada, the major centers are too expensive. However, Canada is one of the easier countries for foreigners to come in and stay long term and make a decent living, especially from countries like the Philippines and India. If they are highly skilled though, there are better opportunities. Just don't talk about homelessness and say it is one of the reasons no to come to Canada from the Philippines. Homeless and slums are quite prevalent all over the Philippines. Taxes however are ridiculously high in Canada - but this socialist slant is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Why does every country that they swarm to seem to fall apart? The UK, Europe and the US are being absolutely destroyed from within. Make your own countries successful.

When a country, region or city gets a significant population that has no sense of belonging to that place and take no effort to integrate with the local culture and uphold the way of living, you know the place is going to go for a toss. Immigration needs to be a well planned strategy. It needs to ve gradual and needs to make sure locals don't a secondary status.

I am Italian and there was a time where I dreamed of living in Canada, but never really had a chance to immigrate because I don't hold a university degree, despite making £75k per year. The crazy thing is that some Canadians still have faith in Trudeau's party or just have too much trust in the government that they can turn this around. I want to see this country prosper but every few months I just keep on seeing new policies that the current government makes that just doesn't make sense.\n\nFew things to mention\n- No more investment in more roads by the federal government (I understand they want essentially to have citizens use cars less but they haven't provided a plan on how that money would be invested? I have yet to see trains being invested to connect cities such as High speed rail?)\n- Increased carbon taxes (most premiers were against this but they negged it on)\n- proposal and voting for Increasing taxes on capital gains (impact business that invest in Canada)\n- This is a positive thing but also happened because they polls went to the dump (increased investment in housing) and then decrease foreign student admission for future years ( I think this is where liberals say they have hope, but it's at a point where they messed it up and now are trying to fix it to make it look like they are fixing someone else's mess\n- The government is also just adding more policies we can't afford such as Dental plans for certain incomes, food in schools while the free health care doesn't really feel worth the taxes when the quality is not there. ( This is how they want to be the good guys when the conservatives need to cut costs to help resolve this mess)\n\nThe liberals are kind of like that guy in the family that takes a loan, pockets some money for corruption, then gives money away to charities saying I'm the good guy, and then doesn't know how to pay the loan back so asks for their family to help fund the debt.

I've experienced life in Montreal and really enjoyed it, but living in the USA has its own unique advantages and challenges. While there are both positive and negative aspects to living here, overall, I find it quite comparable to other places I've known. One of the standout features of the USA is the affordability of housing combined with higher incomes, which makes financial planning more manageable. Additionally, I've found that making friends here seems easier, perhaps due to the country's diverse population. When I first moved here, before getting married, I effortlessly connected with many Americans who were welcoming and open.\n\nHowever, I do have concerns, particularly regarding safety issues like crime and school shootings, which is why I've opted for private schooling for my five-year-old daughter. This is an added expense, yet manageable given the higher income levels here, which still allow for a comfortable lifestyle in a sizeable home outside the city center. Many significant companies offer opportunities, especially in New Jersey where I live, and particularly for those with higher education in STEM fields.\n\nIn my experience, opportunities in Canada or Europe can seem more limited in comparison. Despite this, I envision retiring in Europe, drawn by its unique appeal and lifestyle.

Makes me sad. 1.4 billion Indians and expect to increase to another 400 million (!!!) in 75 years. Pakistan also has very, very high birth rates. Their countries are polluted, corrupt, over-populated... no racial diversity, poor, etc. So, they apply for VISAs en masse to come here. I'm in Australia, and it is exactly the same here. Making matters even worse, the Trudeau government announced in the most recent budget that they're increasing the capitol gains tax from fifty percent to two-thirds.\n\nWhy invest in Canada if the government is going to tax that investment at two-thirds? I love living in Canada. Best country in the world in my opinion and I travel a lot so I have a base to make that statement. There is a segment in any society who wakes up every morning angry, negative, and pessimistic, the grievance crowd. Well they are all hanging out here, and no matter where they are every day is ground hog day wake up angry, negative and pessimistic. Must be exhausting to live that way.

Almost feels like reverse colonialization from all the British territories. First, they converted the UK and then to the other commonwealth nations. With China making up 18% of the world's population, India at 18% and Africa at 18% expect to see more from these 3 countries (the last is a continent). Although once they have citizenship they are all Canadians. Shame the interviewer only talked to almost homeless non-Indian Canadians! They will all have to learn English or French eventually, and drink Tim Hortons. Need for better integration and municipal planning. Let's see what the next election brings for the Prime Minister.
