I don’t agree that all students came with a fake letter. Changing the rules in the middle of the situation is a true concern. This is a government mistake who puts a lot of people’s lives and finances at risk. Students are victims too, not only Canadians!

Can you ask each international student or immigrant you see on the street how much they paid the canadian government to come there? I'd probs say $30k/person (forms, medical or probs tuition). As a hindi speaking Indian I.T. professional, I don't understand why Punjabis, Gujaratis, and Tamil Indians are always dying to move to Canada? I lived in Canada and didn't find Canada all that great. I'd say America is a far better country than Canada. As shown on the graph, it's the same in Surrey and Richmond BC. So many businesses don't even bother putting English on the signs. I was the only non-Indian commuting on the bus to/from work. I have good Indian friends who value Canadian culture (unlike the government) but there are others who don't, and won't hire non-Indians or rent to non-Indian tenants.

Most of these international students belong to the sikh community from northern india (punjab). Not all indians are like this, mostly sikhs because they are large scale fraudsters. If he was deported because he was driving without a license or driving dangerously, I would agree to that, but if it was a mistake, I feel like this is a bit harsh. South Asian Indians are fourth generation Canadians and are educated, successful and have assimilated with the European culture. Canadian government is to blame. They actively recruit Indian students with false promises. Fake schools recruiting fake students. I don’t what the heck is wrong with Canada but they have lost their minds.

The situation is not the fault of the students or the Indian students. It's solely the fault of the Canadian government because no Indian student can come to Canada without a student visa. They are accepting so many students only for financial gain. This is a result of corruption. But unfortunately, all the hate will go towards Indian students even when it's the government's fault. Many students have been misled by Canadian colleges, they have invested a significant amount of money and contributed to the Canadian economy, only to find themselves unable to secure employment. As a result, they are left with no choice but to return to India and confront their families and communities. This is a major factor contributing to the high number of students returning to India in unfortunate circumstances even suicide.

Im an Indian from the state of Kerala. In my class from college nearly 20 of them came to study in Canada. Believe me these people who come are not that academically good the fun fact is that the academically brighter ones never went abroad all of them got a decent job in India itself.. I'm not saying that all of them coming are trash my ex gf now in Hamilton was extremely bright and got a decent job there..the basic issue is that Canadian government must have strict standards for foreign students Australia has it. Hi True North, I'm from India not in Canada ?. if they were promised to give PGWP after course completion and they received that and now they are asking for further extension then yes send them back. But if the PGWP was not even granted to them in the first place then it's a scam, the Canadian government has to give what was promised. They contributed to your economy in dollars (which is not easy if someone is coming from India) they deserve to earn in dollars as well. Also, some students took loans as well . However, I understand Canadian citizens' frustration too but it was the Canadian government's mistake when they invited immigrants just for the sake of money.
