We as a family of expats moved to Canada as our 3rd country, my wife and I have good paying jobs and Toronto is simply too expensive for us with two kids. We are now moving out of Canada to our 4th and final country. Toronto after the pandemic is too expensive for us. Phone bills, rent, used cars, all are far more expensive than home. Lucky they have good snow and beautiful views haha. 18 months was enough though, back to NZ

@5:55 as a business owner i can confirm beureaucracy has ruined Canada as well. Too much fees , tarion requires 25000 per home in deposit. Long delays for approvals from cities, Hefty city fees are also adds on which are pass on to consumers. Forign investment is also an issue. Coupled with air bnb exploitation , single owner owns multiple properties hence shortage housing. Monopolization in food and carbon taxes etc have made Canada un livable
