I understand. I'm going back to Europe after 17 years!! I'm a certified teacher with a brilliant teaching career in Europe and I cannot teach here. Everything is so expensive and I cannot make it anymore. I agree, it's just very sad, it's our life, our dream. I came to Canada with a lot of love and with the willingness to give all my heart, potential, abilities and skills. I cannot make it anymore...my soul and heart are slowly dying. I'm 55, I cannot end my life working two or more jobs and moving every two to four years because landlords keep kicking out of the house old tenants because they raise the rents. Over $3000 a month. Who can afford that? I'm a single mom. Buying a house is impossible as well...\nSo I'm going back to my country. I'm packing my 17 years of life in a few suitcases in one hand, and my son on the other hand. My heart feels heavy and abundant tears are falling off my eyes, but I'm sure that we are going toward a brighter future and surrounded with the love of family and friends.

When I was a Court Reporter & Clerk in courts in southern Ontario, I was assigned briefly to the courts that served the Brampton area. They were short staffed, but more significantly, the judges there had to take relatively short leaves of absence every so often because the violent crimes involving machetes were prevalent and in the Young Offender demographic as well. It definitely wasn't typical of other courts in Ontario where I worked.

Moved out of Brampton 14 years ago. Every time I drove around there in the last few years I have noticed all this change. But in all honesty Brampton has never had a good reputation.

The system today is the most racially motivated and serration motivation. \nPeople is invited to come and live in this country, without limits of respect to the existing Canadian culture, the one and only culture despise and not allowed to participate in the fallacy of multiculturalism. \nCome top Canada, bring what you want, especially your culture, with all its defects and vices. Will accommodate a corner for you so that you can quietly impose it to the rest, just by being there. We are seeing this with many cultures supposedly ‘contributing’ to our civilization but instead aiming to destroy it. Canada is/was a Christian nation. Our laws are Christian. But we are to accept and bent backwards to accommodate any other non-Christian culture in the world. That is not and never will be freedom of religion but imposition, suppressing our Judeo-Christian values. \nIf someone want to practise his/her own religion costumes in Canada, they should do it on their own and without government assistance, of any level of government. \nThe problem is not the amount of India influence in Brampton, but the influence of every other culture everywhere.

Why is the concept of multiculturalism so hard for Canadians to understand ?\nThis isn’t your country. In a multicultural society, there is not an official culture that every person must be a part of.\nThis is the result of it like it or not. In other words you did this to yourself.\nNow you want to cry about it ? Seriously ?\nI see comments of people saying “I don’t recognize my country anymore” , “ I don’t feel at home in my own country” and I can’t help but laugh.\nI have been warning people about this since the 90’s , cause anyone with an average IQ saw this coming and BELIEVE me this is just the beginning of what’s to come. No worries Canadians, they are fleeing Canada with Canadian money and, have their own businesses or landowners in INDIA. A cab driver informed me they will be leaving and he owns land and businesses in India off of CANADIAN MONEY while driving a CAB in Canada. He said he and others are leaving because Canada is too expensive to live and because of the high cost they are unable to send money to INDIA, so they are leaving us. They used us, took our Cab driver jobs, etc, and now are fleeing, really nice people...NOT!. FYI they are not the only country who stole Canadian jobs and sent money to their 3rd world countries and will return back home to live in MANSIONS. I worked with a Philippine and he sent money home every paycheck and was looking forward to leaving Canada in 10 years with Canadian money and he will enjoy the rest of their life in a huge mansion.\nIt must be nice to come here, work, and then flee. Many have fled already and are enjoying their fruits while betraying Canada. Nice People.

I grew up in Glace Bay, NS with my White brothers and sisters, things were normal and how our founding fathers intended. It only took a few years to completely ruin this country! This isn't Canada anymore, and that is a fact. Just go to a Tim Hortons or a Walmart and you will think you're in India; for every 20 Indians you might spot 3 White people, it's insane! This is the age of the Great RESETtlement. Anyone else wish the war of 1812 went the other way? We border the most free nation on earth and an invisible line keeps us trapped in this prison. I hope the US annexes Canada some day.

Immigration is obviously too high, but no one should be surprised at the formation of ethnic enclaves. China Town, little Italy, Greek town, which exist in every major city, seem to be accepted and even embraced.

We have the same problem. I actually like the people, but….somehow, immigrants have managed to have been able to acquire the vast majority of retail jobs in our area. How is that possible? There are businesses and fast food chains with not one white person working as an employee. I spoke to a former worker that was at one of these businesses for years and asker her WTF happened? She told me that the company hired a new manager from India, within 6 months, half the staff were Indian, local students were not being hired for part time jobs, only Indians, by the end of the year, every single employee was Indian. \nShe along with other quit their jobs because….not because they’re racist, but because not only were they being treated differently than the now majority brown workers, but they were being made to feel excluded because…the manager and the new staff all spoke a different language, they would all work together in a group not speaking English at all, saying things and laughing making it pretty obvious that they were making fun of the white employees. The “manager” would ignore the white staff’s complaints and he would then seemingly punish them by giving them less hours, change their duties and give “the good shifts” to the new brown people to the point where the white people were made to feel alienated as well as cutting back their hours leaving them with not enough hours to make a living. “This is Canada Mother Fecker” these people need to speak our language when they’re in public or at the workplace with “Canadians” or…employers should fire them. I will note, that the A&W that this happened at, has changed not only by every single employee being brown, but the service is not near as friendly, they all speak to each other in a different language behind the counter.. the seating area is not even close to being clean, the tables usually are left with trays and garbage that aren’t being cleaned as customer leave. It so bad sometimes that I literally have to pick a dirty table and remove the garbage myself because every available table has not been cleaned….and the bathrooms …. I don’t even want to talk about it they’re so disgusting. And when you complain….they turn to other employees and speak a different language… so we have no idea about WTF they are actually doing or saying about the issue. “ Thank you Sir, we will take care of that.” And the next day…it was the same. I’ve stopped going there along with everyone that I know…our work crew along with our families can no longer support such a dirty, rude and disrespectful business.

The cities in MB are looking the same, with every business owned, operated and staffed by Indians. I don't understand how many Indians can afford to buy franchises, yet old-stock Canadians can't. Why is that? ??

Try visiting Peterborough. Every fast food restaurant, Walmart, grocery stores etc. it can be really hard to understand people because many of them haven’t developed their English skills yet. It seemed to happen overnight

Not just Brampton. Milton, Mississauga, Toronto, Scarborough, Markham, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa. I don't feel at home anymore when every store I go to is manned by thick accents I can barely understand. I'm almost certain white people are leaving the cities and either moving north, out of the city, or leaving Canada altogether. The quick change in demographic is STAGGERING.

I was born and raised in Canada and in my 60’s now. I can’t afford to live here anymore, healthcare has declined, personal safety, fuel costs, insurance etc. most of all our politics are a mess on all three major parties. The Liberals are a royal mess and inflation went through the roof. They’re just running around like the 3 blind mice making fools of themselves. The Conservatives are involving themselves in a right wing romance with fascist trumpianism and think poutine is an ok guy. The hate speech is unreal. We used to be a real chill country. I have young 20 somethings telling me they think Communism is a great idea and they would rather fight for poutine if a war breaks out. Well it’s their future not mine. The AI, bots and trolls on the internet are telling them what they want to hear in order to stir up hate and entitlement. The NDP (New Democratic Party) is neither here nor there, they’re kind of always the minority and swing both the other two parties to divide the vote and gain some form of temporary power. \nI’d like to see a politician that has the balls to stand up to the dictators of this world that shit disturb in every continent because they are such little insecure bastards that they think they can conquer it. I’ve got news for them. Every single dictator in history has failed… miserably and often brutally. We need the kind of leadership in our Country that can produce good governance. Our GDP is just under $60K. The dictators out there are rubbing their greedy little hands, for if there is ever a 3rd world war, Canada will be the prize. We are loaded with resources. I’ve spent 40 yrs in the workforce, and listened to countless people from every continent who told me the truth about why they left their homeland. People who survived WW2, the Korean War, Vietnam War, communist China, expansionism of the USSR, the caste system and political persecution in India and Bangladesh. Political unrest in Argentina and Chile. I have personally witnessed systemic racism in the USA and Canada. \nI don’t have anything tying me down to stay here so I will be moving on. I think I’ll just become a nomad tourist for a while.

Tbh. I do have Muslim friends. I don’t follow the faith, but I will say that Islam isn’t compatible with western values. There are so many Muslim countries where the Muslim faith can be practiced properly. The west can’t accommodate every religion.

This is not an isolated incident. Brown guys in delivery jobs, especially students from South Asia, face this kind of humiliation in everyday life. Some of these rich white privileged people often forget that while they are paying for the service, they do not own the delivery people. Regardless of numerous such incidents, every year, many Indians are coming to the US or Canada - many legally and some illegally. If Canada removes the visa requirement, tomorrow more than half of Punjab will be empty - this is the reality and still many Indians don't mind the humiliation. Living a life in a Western country, and owning expensive phones and cars that's what most of them want. I'm not talking about the genuine students who enroll themselves in universities, get decent jobs after graduation, and live a dignified life.

Why do people always shit on canada…are we exoected to be as big as the states?? I'm a 28 year old Canadian, I don't want this to come off sounding like a pity party, so I'll keep it brief for all and any of those thinking of moving here. I live with my parents because I could never afford the rent (and I don't even live in a major city like Toronto); my buddies moved in together and paid 1600 a month for a SMALL 2-bedroom apartment and they STRUGGLED to find an apartment. everyone I talk to is struggling and scared about their mortgage payments. My parents built a new home just a few years ago and got screwed over at every turn and on every level, their only saving grace was that their lumber package was locked in so they didn't have to worry about the lumber inflation. the job market is straight up trash and we're taxed through the teeth for every little thing. On the news we see stories about immigrants having to go back to their country because they can't afford to live here or find affordable housing. don't move here, it's shit.

I came to Canada as an immigrant. I am very educated person and with multiple advanced degrees. I cannot make a decent living there due to discrimination at work and the gradual increase cost of living. I moved out of Canada to live in the States where I am making so much money and opportunities are plentiful. I wish for every Canadian who could move to the states, just do it.
