Being an Indian immigrant myself (now a citizen), this is absurd. There's rules to follow. There's 3 problems as I see:\n1) The structure of the Canadian economy - heavily dependent on services, natural resources and real estate. Due to this Education has become a business. Colleges, Universities & Diploma Mills are more than happy to admit international students who pay 3 times the normal fees. \n2) Lack of a screening process - not taking in immigrants based on skill and education.\n3) Taking in too many immigrants from 1 ethnicity & region - the Indian state of Punjab, a region suffering from drug epidemic, alcoholism and crime. Not sure why you'd want low quality immigrants. If you notice all the protestors here are Punjabis. Canadian immigration is business in Punjab. Many immigration consultants here in Canada are Punjabis and have business links back home.

as someone who grew up in BC canada, I can give many more vital reasons its absolutely awful here. \n\n1) Poor health care: everyone thinks Canada is so great for free health care. Be ready to wait up to 12 hours in hospitals to be seen for 5 mins. Also, my aunt passed away from waiting on breast cancer surgery in BC.\n\n2) Poor infrastructure: Roads here have been the same since 1960s, but now we have millions more people. Rush hour traffic is insanity in vancouver and toronto.\n\n3) Inefficient roadwork: Road construction can take up to 10 years, they close the road and leave it, I rarely seen people work on it and it causes far more traffic\n\n4) government promotes laziness: My friend who is a doctor works 2 days a week, why? because why would he work more at far lower pay? it all goes to taxes anyways\n\nI can give many more reasons but this is getting too long

They have a right to stay because this is not about Canadians or Indians. It is about humanity. This world is for every one. Canadians can also move to India and have a peaceful life. Am an African and we have many people from other countries living with us but we don't force them to go because this world is for all of us. Even Canada is not originally for white people. Actually it has to be the Aborigines asking for this but they are quite.

So basically the differences are minor. No wonder many foreigners think of Canada as US 2.0. Because if you need to differentiate Italy from Austria, the difference is obvious: different language, different culture, different architecture, different traditions. You won’t see that in US and Canada. And no one cares what forms of government these countries have. That’s not what makes you a distinct nation. Canada is a corporation and I guess the more immigrants WE have then the GDP looks better. I am a Canadian and my mother was born here and my grandmother came to Canada in 1907 from the USA when she was 7 years old. I was born in the 1940s and brought up in rural surroundings. Back then We had traditional beliefs and I had farming background. Connection of relatives and helping our neighbours were how We lived. I became a schoolteacher. I saw that in 1954 when I went to school that learning was not natural and it was fear based. Then I completed a dip. of ed psy and then I decided that if I ever wanted to help change the system that I would require at least an m. ed. - leadership. I knew the university I went to would not be able to say no to me when I applied to get into this program. However, I was too much of an negative influence on the younger students and had to finish the last couple of classes at home and which I did. Today, the families have been divided, people do not connect or communicate properly and I have to question what living skills did I learn? Instead, my head was filled with propaganda which sadly, I've had to relearn. I say, stay in your own country and fix it there. Indian has some wonder ancient wisdoms for healing and health. The OWNERS of our nations like the banking families realize that when new immigrates come in that they assimilate more, and the older generations begin to question what THEY were taught and why. I remember when say a barn burned down or one had to be built that neighbours would help build the barn for the farmer. Then we would all celebrate and the women would get together and cook the food and we would have a barn dance. Life was simple then, but connection was authentic and we didnt lose ourselves. We must know ourselves and our history or we are lost and so many people live in chaos and ignorance. Learn to become our Divine selves. Learn to understand that WE are living in a fictional world when We are educated to be who we are not.

They rent a house on my street where there are at least 8 living in a 3 bedroom home. The basement was renovated to make room there are 6 cars where the driveway is for two. They operate a car detailing business from the garage and cars are parked up and down our street. If you are not a citizen. You do not have the civil rights achieved by becoming a citizen. You don’t have the right to citizenship if you came to Canada with a work visa or a student visa! They didn’t immigrate through proper channels. (Although those channels are corrupted anyway)

These students are spending 90% of time working, but never show up in class. They are free riders in the group projects. Please only keep students who are serious and respecting their colleges and universities in Canada.

What a joke when my parents came in Canada in the 50s they were treated like slaves. You had to go in a certain part of Canada and work your ass off to died.
