You need to know that people don't study medicine in North America is because many high pay doctor positions are limited to citizens only. Indians built bogus ( Tourism,Finance,Marketing schools)in Canada.Then they recruit students from India, and stay or rent rooms with Indian families . The cycle continues.

They come here as student permit they should go back to there country if they need only a good education then come here for study ONLY . 3 years post graduate work permit is the longest you can get as international students. If you can not get PR during these three years, which means you are not eligible to become PR at least thought Experience Class. You can always improve your EE score by getting a higher education, or better English or/and French proficiency. You guys were in this game in the first place, you have to follow the rules.

As some one living in Canada as an international student, I agree with the state of things in Canada as shown in the video. I think immigration in any country should be merit based and sustainable to avoid such things happening.

This video is 100% true.. where I live the majority of immigrants are Indian. I have nothing against them seeking better lives but in my opinion they need to do better screening. In my building alone there are 3 units, 2 of which are rented by Indian students. One is 4 bedroom 2 bath and other is 3 bedroom 1 bath there are no joke 16 people in both. I’ve made friends with multiple of them and they had no issue telling me they came here to work and live and barely attended any classes. If this keeps up we are in big trouble.

I think canada should allow them to work but on immediately basis they should only allow international students with conditional agreement that if government find the are not worth for their country they can depot them

Schools accepting more than a certain amount of international students a year should be required to provide campus housing as part of the tuition cost for international students. This insures the student can afford both schooling and room and board and they won't put excessive pressure on the local housing market.

So badly spoiled the country by bringing in too many immigrants and refugees. Many don't even know how converse in English, surprised they got high score in IELTs no system to check this. Local colleges earned money, end of the day many Indian students think no scope here. We need a good leader who just focus on welfare of people, not to do vote bank politics and spoil the relation with economically growing two big countries.

Canada only issues student visas to them not immigrant visas

If you want to see what mass immigration from one culture can do, just look at Bramladesh, aka. Brampton. You want a drivers license, no problem, $300 and you pass. Truck drivers license, $800. Mortgage, bribe the broker/underwriter 1% of the mortgage amount and you can easily get one from a big bank even if you don't actually qualify. Rental housing, 2 to 4 students per bedroom, assuming they can get housing at all. Multiple people using the same health card. Multiple workers using the same ID. Three drivers per transport truck, one legal and two illegal so it can be operated 24 hrs a day. Just the tip of the iceberg as I'm certain there are many more scams/loopholes being utilized than I'm aware of. Many Indians are hard working, just trying to make a better life for themselves and their families, live in horrid conditions until they can afford better. On an individual basis I don't blame them, but when you import EN MASS, and they all live together in the same area, then the culture of that area changes to the one they are coming from.

Colleges used these students as mules. Since last few years now they have been diploma printing machines printing diplomas for students who can not even speak proper English. Similarly these students need to understand that their parents taking loans to send them here does not guarantee them a path to PR. They are here to STUDY not WORK. I am not sure how they are given admissions into colleges when a large number of them cannot even speak in english or understand what is being taught in class. Are they faking IELTS tests as well? Where are all the checks?

Im a canadian student, born here been here all my life. Well show my shock as I cant even get a low level entry level job because my city is 50 percent indian, and the indians took all the jobs. Im struggling now because of these thieves, a job is not a job and low level unskilled jobs will always be filled rather easily by Canadian hs students.

You can never apply for a student visa if you don't have a return flight home in majority of countries so it doesn't cost thw government anything for them to go home that big Indian u interviewed in not having a conversation in good faith he's has invested intrest

I’m international student from India, I understand that pain and I agree that CAP is needed on international student. What I have seen so far is that, quality of students are really poor.

Some of the places for rent you showed in this video are in my neighbourhood. My neighbourhood has been predominantly Indian since I first moved here 20 years ago, the the demographic shift isn't as noticeable other than the fact that its gone from mostly Indian Canadian families who are mostly Canadian citizens to now a lot of young Indian students who just arrived in the past few years. But I can imagine how rapid the demographic transformation might seem to someone who lived in a predominantly non-Indian neighbourhood that's now being flooded with Indians. The thing that confuses me is why India specifically has such a huge increase in immigrants since 2020 while before China and the Philippines had just as many if not more immigrants, but China and the Philippines stagnated while India just continues to skyrocket. Funny enough the people I hear who are most against this mass migration are Indians themselves who were either born here or have been living here a lot longer.

Yeah I being Indian I have faced lot of problems from Indian land lord , they are pain. Again all of them are not same , as India is a wide nation with different sub culture in there. Some are really cool and some are the worst you may find. Again students should understand they are not a citizen that they can ask for offer right now Canadian gov is running stupid thanks to pm JT. First of all , Students are not the problem. The poor unpractical courses in private colleges without any attandance is the problem, another problem is refusees and govt. allowed the asylum refusees , so many tourist visa converted into work , israelies asylum seeker , are the problem , students brings almost $60-70000 and loan , sells property , but after study he remains unskilled coz courses offered to them are useless from most of the colleges. problem is immigration system allowed unskilled people , useless courses , PR to tourist visa holders.
