I am apart of the lgbtq+ community so I am not sure if I am completely welcome (I just want to peacefully exist with our rights as humans not convert people to the community) but that does not stop me from respecting you, your family, your religion, and your choices of doing what is best for you and your family. I have watched many of your videos and have learned more about your faith (thank you so much for the education). I only wish you the safest of journey and a wonderful bright future for you and your family (along with any others that may make similar journeys or even trying to stick it out in hopes for a better future). Hello Saleh family, I have been following you for over two years now; I am not american or canadian but a physician and mother of two from a third world country in the Caribbean. I started following you because I was curious about the muslim faith and your way of life. I started following different muslim people (and jewish, vegan, homeless and more... basically anybody different than me) and after some time I saw that we were all humans in search of the same things in life. I completely agree with your decision of moving but was very disappointed in your comments towards the drag community. A person in drag reading a children's book is not indoctrination. A person in drag reading to kids is only teaching them acceptance and tolerance (exactly what you want the world to give to your girls who most likely wear a Hijab). A person in drag is an artist who finds joy and self worth in certain clothes, hairstyles and makeup... it is a person a human person with the same value as everyone else. It has nothing to do with sexuallity or sexual orientation... if we truly want freedom for Palestine, if we truly want to change the narrative and to prevent 75+ years of brutal occupation and racism ever happening again; we have to change the way we see our differences... is not enough to ignore and respect people who are different: we have to accept them and recognize their humanity and their worth; to value and foster acceptance and integration in the younger generations... that is the only way forward, that is the only way we will all secure a better future for our kids. I used to watch a lot of non Muslim couple influencers but since the war on occupied palestine I have seen that non of the couples you tubers have even mentioned what is happening its like they are all in the agenda just to distract people while a genocide is happening right before our eyes, sad thing is majority of the people around the world are ipening their eyes to the reality its not about religion or race its about humanity so when people who have such huge platforms keep quiet it shows their values. so I have decided to strictly keep my eyes on our muslim youtubers. I see what you are doing and I am so happy that you'll get the chance to help the Palestinians as many of us wish too but unfortunately cannot. If i may suggest you to go check my country Indonesia or my neighbor Malaysia. You can hear calling for pray 5x a day, mosques are everywhere, halal food also everywhere. A lot of choice of education for your children, generally or Islamic ones. And most important thing is the people and government against genocide. We don't have any diplomatic relationship and never acknowledge the state of IsNotReal. Also 1 more thing, living cost here is relatively low compare to Canada or any other countries. No Muslim country is doing anything to help them. A number have helped and supported Hamas resulting in recent events. The Palestinians elected Hamas and celebrated the events of Oct 7th. I took Canada off my list when I started looking into the social problems there and made a few Canadian friends online.
