In India there have been many cases where a sikh man involved in a normal argument had pulled out his so called religious symbol (knife) and fatally injured the other person, so much for a religious symbol. I have worked for almost five years in a reputed lab in Panjab, India. Trust me; no one brought any weapons to the lab in the name of religion. When we live in an organization, we need to follow their rule, even in India.
