Trudeau has ruined Canada….he cannot stop bringing in immigrants and refugees that are costing tax payers billions of dollars. How early it is to spend …blow the tax payers money . Where are we now ? Canadians are sleeping in tents, Canadians are taxed into poverty to pay for all the freebies and hand outs and easy money. The demand on housing has made buying a home impossible in Canada and rents are skyrocketing along with the cost of food! Millions of Canadians no longer have a family Doctor….waiting lists are tremendous…people are not getting the healthcare like in the past. What is the solution to the problem?…the Trudeau government say we need to bring in millions more people to build homes……WHAT? Really? Would you buy 1000 horses or cows without a barn ? NO! Why not put the millions of people you already brought into this country to work building houses instead of working at Walmart or fast food joints or delivering trucks. Low income jobs to keep the companies here happy with cheap labour so they can made big profits instead of paying Canadians a living wage! It is all about moneymaking, greed, and votes, to hell with the taxpayers of Canada!

I lived in Turkey for 7 years then brought my wife back to the United States after COVID. Now that I know what I'm missing in this world I'm not very happy in America. No neighbors, no community, no social interactions, no interesting store-fronts. My wife is even more miserable. We have made 0 friends in nearly 2 years in America. I have spent more money on car maintenance than doing anything fun in life. Too bad these miserable anti-human cities will never change.

I’m Canada, we aren’t even happy with our own gun rules. A lot of us think there should be tougher restrictions.

This is what you get when you vote in a former ski instructor with NO political or economic experience. I hope all you liberal woke-tards are happy. Who cares if he's destroying your life & future as long as he's left wing.

As happy as I am for him and all those who work hard to get somewhere they definitely deserve there success! However dont ruin it for others as well! Prices in US are much lower than Canada even though there population is 10x than here! Desi people have ruined it everywhere they go!

Congrats Raman for being successful in whatever endeavours of life you have touched upon and its invaluable experiences sharing so candidly with newcomers to Canada. Your message of being optimistic and positive in anything one does leads to “success” defined by the an individual. I have seen real-estate ups and downs of GTA much more than you have thus far, however; it makes me enormously happy for your accomplishments in such a short time. I am hanging my boots after 35+years in real-estate for good as in couple of days my RECO licence will expire. \n\nIncidentally, you shouldn’t have worried about your security, Toronto Police can take good care of security issues very well and your letter from the criminal litigation lawyer would have been sufficient to subdue the potential offenders. Enjoy next 20-25 years to fullest thereafter mobility might get restricted. Thank you and best of luck.

I'm curious, what say you Canadians? Are you happy that jobs and housing that could have went to other Canadians or your children and family were instead given to immigrants? Or is that a good thing?

I am a Canadian and lived in the US from 1980-1992. I was a teenager and I enjoyed all the places I lived there. Mass shootings were not yet common though we did have a disgruntled employee with a gun on campus during my time in college. No one was actually shot.(This was in a very small town.) I did not get sick in the US. I have lived in Canada since then and enjoy it here too. I enjoy not having poisonous animals in the area where I live. I don't like the winters, and every winter I wish we could re-draw the border and make it go north and south! I have used the medical system up here and have been very thankful for it. The past couple of years with covid I have been especially glad to be in Canada because I preferred our response to the situation over that of the US. Most of the people in my workplace were not happy about it though and I believe 2 or 3 families actually moved to the US once the border re-opened. They like the feeling of having less governmental control in the US.

We were supposed to move to the USA in the late 60s I’m so happy my father decided to turn his station waggon back to Canada. We’re not perfect but the US isn’t serious deep shit.

Are they the same people that call Canada a white colonial dictatorship. They should be happy to return to India because Canada is soooo racist
2023-08-07 0
I‘m sorry USA, but shouldn’t you be happy about every skilled worker and taught knowledge that wants to stay at your country? ?

30% of new immigrants plan on leaving canada within two years. Liberals lied to them and I'm happy to see them go. I never voted to bring them here. It's only going to lead to conflict.

The police was doing its duty. The boy held his religious belief. The university admitted their mistake and issued apology. Happy ending

America is kind of like hanging out with other people’s kids when you don’t have any of your own…They’re fun, crazy, loud, obnoxious and when it’s over you’re so happy you get to go home to peace and quiet. You have super cheap booze though, good for you guys!

It also doesnt help that Canada has a narcissistic compulsive lying ethically/ morally bankrupt spend happy tin pot dictator for a leader. He has plunged the economy into almost a trillion dollars on top of the existing debt. In 2023 his idea of balancing the budget is to spend $60 BILLION effectively destroying the country financially.

My daughter, with Irish Father (me) and Japanese Mother, much prefers the USA.\nShe graduated from Juilliard and got her green card in the US.\nAfter living in NYC for 15 years (and married) she and her Maryland husband came to Canada.\n5 years later they went back to Virginia and they are 20 times more happy.\nPS: If they were to become SICK in the US, they would head back to Toronto - but other than that they HATE Canada ?? and they LOVE ❤️ the US ??

I was born in Lima Peru at the age 21 moved to the Canada Toronto was my first home and I lived there for 17 years ,but the Canadian winter was wearing me out , so I moved to Vancouver and my partner and I opened a video rental that last me for 24 years until the end of vídeos rental in the meantime I started to invest in real estate , I bough 2 condominium apartment one is a penthouse with roof garden , them 250.000 dólares back in 1994, same year I bought the second apartment for 175.000 dollars 28 years later that investment have increased to 2’200.000.00 dollars I lived all my life in Canada I am now 77 years old in good health, now as a Canadian citizen feel very proud to be Canadian and never consider moving anywhere I am very happy where I am, and I am sure many Canadian feel the same eh

Look how happy they look coming in, all this cheap labor?
2023-07-29 2
I have mixed feelings about this video. This video does a good job outlining the immigration process but it does not highlight any of the negative consequences of immigration that Canada is experiencing. One of the main reasons why cost of living is so high in Toronto and Vancouver is precisely because we have so many immigrants coming in without enough housing supply. This is by design because politicians and the upper class have a vested interest in keeping real estate prices high because so much of their net worth is tied up in the housing market.\n\nAnother negative is that employers hire immigrants working low skilled jobs and pay them less than Canadians because the immigrants are willing to be taken advantage of since they're just happy to have a job in Canada which pays better than their country. \n\nAnother myth that gets repeated is that Canadian takes immigrants out of compassion and unfortunately a lot of Canadians believe this. It was never about compassion, it's about bringing more people to 1) pay taxes to support our social welfare as Canadian birth rates decline and boomers retire, 2) keep housing costs high and 3) pay immigrants lower wages for the same work because immigrants are fine being exploited since they have a job in a first world country.\n\nAnother problem is the cultural shift. In the most immigrant-dense regions you'll find that many immigrants themselves surprisingly don't want more immigrants coming to Canada because they see these negative consequences. The people who are most pro-immigration have no problem cramming 8+ people in a basement and exploiting their labour because they make enough money to live in communities that immigrants can't afford, and so they don't have to deal with the cultural shift that's taking place. This is NOT the fault of immigrants, but rather the politicians who put economic growth over quality of life. Over HALF the people in the GTA weren't born in Canada, so they didn't go through our school system and have no connection to our culture. Canada is unfortunately going to become very racist over the next 10-20 years as Canadians start feeling like outsiders in their own country. It's somehow considered racists to criticize the effect of multiculturalism on social unity, yet the cultures we accept in Canada only became distinct cultures because of monoculturalism.

Unfortunately the canadian feds dont provice the cities like toronto with enough funds to actually build new housing/infastructure for all the new immigrants because most of them end up here so things just get more $$$, just saw the polls at the end and they make me happy but I get the feeling this will soon change as lack of investment into infastructure and high prices gets worse

I work in tech and need to mention the negatives of H1B even though having tons of highly skilled workers would be nice for country.\n\nThe first issue is that H1B workers are happy with accepting lower pay for relevant position so long as they get opportunity to get a company sponsor. This causes a downward pressure on wages obviously.\n\nSecond is they are also VERY obedient Caste like stuff going on between Indians or absolute silence from East Asians on anything that needs to change. This causes management expectations from workers to be skewed against citizen workers.\n\nThird, they are only here short time to earn as much as possible, even some I know shared a 1 bedroom between 2 people just to hoard as much as they make cause when they go back to their country it means they are rich. So they work 24/7 and causing company expectations to be unrealistic for citizen workers.

Some Nile Crocodiles would be very happy there...

It totally depends on a persons perspective. Many parents happily stay with their children abroad. Coz people make life happy and place where u live. It doesn’t matter which place it is. Many parents just want to be with their kids they don’t care which place it is.

And here's me, spending all my money, doing all kinds of paperwork, waiting years, and jumping thru hoops, to try to do it legally, so I can be with my girl and my kids. And I'm only in north carolina. It makes me happy for these people that they actually get in, but I also pisses me off that I have to go thru so much bullshit to do it legally.

As this couple must be in India by now, you should do video call interview and ask how they are feeling now. I want to see their happy faces here in India. You can add clip at the end of this podcast too.

10:50 Ty, you balked out of the comment as if the writer threw acid at you. And yet you must understand that to many Canadians the religious batshit craze that is behind the prevalent political climate in the US is at the heart of the refusal to ever consider moving to the US. Americans think they live in the land of the free and yet they’re perfectly happy to force their personal conception of freedom (bear arms, ban books, ban gender/sexual orientation discussion, ban abortion rights etc) onto the whole country. Sadly, you chickened out of facing some unpleasant truths.

As a Canadian from the Maritimes I have to agree with all the reasons he read. Any time I travel south I have the highest travel insurance to fly me back to Canada if something happens. I have visited the US many times and enjoyed it while I was there but was VERY happy to be home. I agree the small towns are safER but I saw people driving around with 5 LARGE guns in the roof rack of their truck, I DO NOT mean hunting rifles. NOPE! Got in the rental car and headed North out of Georgia right away. The South IS beautiful to see and may people were very sweet but I did not feel safe there. I prefer the Northern states. I was thinking about my yearly vacation options recently and the US was NO WHERE on my list. Mostly Northern Europe, Italy, and Greece. Sorry, but that's my opinion of my travels there.

I'm a proud Canadian who would NEVER move to the USA for a ton of reasons. I only wish our best neighbors---I still believe this---would get their act together. Unfortunately I think it may be way too late. The fact that a known scumbag like Donald Trump could still,I think, get back into the White House says it all. The warring political parties should be lining up to put him jail. Far too many shootings and violence down there. When I meet Americans up here, they are always nice folks, always respectful. Maybe they're relieved I'm not armed. I'm kidding. Still, all things considered, very proud and very lucky and very happy to be a Canadian.
