Canada is a great place to live if you are a wealthy foreigner looking to park your money of unknown or questionable origin. Or possibly a retiree who scarcely ventures outdoors. For hardworking working- and middle-class people under the age of 50, regardless of where you live, where you were born, or what you do, your future is worrisome. About 80% of you don't want to know your future, if you haven't already figured it out. New leadership may help, but the problems go deeper than that.

go to your own country if you don't want people scared of you for carrying weapons. this is not a normal societal practice around here. don't be surprised or in shock if you get arrested, you are the ignorant one.

Gimme a break, man!!! Never heard so much complaining in all my life. Canada needs immigrants because people born here are not having kids or don't want kids. I thought only liberals were the bleeding hearts. Seems like there are a lot of conservatives that also feel sorry for themselves.

Where did the other Canadians come from? Europe. The original Canadians have all been disenfranchised from their land. If anyone should be complaining it is them. Just some knowledge here, Punjabi Indians, Hindus Indians, and Sikh Indians, are all Indians, the British Empire could decide to classify us as much as it wanted. It is Karmic that the U.K. stole 45 trillion dollars of wealth from India and now is breaking apart itself. It seems it gorged on our wealth and could not digest the theft and genocide against 66 million Indians through intentional caused colonial famines. Not one famine occurred since 1947. If Canada does not need skilled people from India than pass laws to prevent their coming. Multiculturalism does not work only in one direction.

And people have the cheek to ask Singapore why we continue to maintain a strict race demographic of 75% Chinese, 15% Malay and 7.5% Indian since independence 58 years ago. We mainly want to preserve our culture and heritage and not upset our people and make them wake up the next day to a strange country they didn’t grow up with. ?

I am a South Asian living in Brampton for almost 40 years and I don’t like what Brampton has become. It used to be multi cultural now it seems like one culture. That’s fine but the thing I don’t like is that the new immigrants specifically from India want that or many people with the same mind set.

I have to say that I am quite apalled to hear fellow Canadians being so openly racist--not to mention just plain ignorant. For any non-Canadians watching, let me assure you that the majority of us do not embrace or abide by these sentiments--we are for the most part a progressive, tolerant people who accept and, in many cases, welcome diversity and inclusion. We are, after all, a nation of immigrants--many of whom have escaped the oppression, injustice and intolerance that plague much of the undeveloped world--in pursuit of a better life. They bring their skills, hard work ethic and adaptability to a country that would wither on the vine without them. So, it's essential that we maintain meaningful and robust annual immigration rates to avoid the fates of countries like Japan, Italy, and South Korea: shrinking nations facing hopeless futures of economic decline and demographic collapse. We also need to maintain our pace with the behemoth to the south, or risk being utterly consumed by it. I hope and pray that most Canadians understand these basic truths--especially the younger ones. \n\nNow, I will admit that with regards to immigration and demographics there are always some logistical and pragmatic challenges that are part of any democratic, pluralistic society--of which we are, generally, a leader. And, sure, our government policies on immigration, employment, education, mental health, and housing need to be fine tuned to improve short and long term outcomes. But to place all of the blame on a single demographic slice of our overall makeup is simplistic, reductivist, dangerous and downright offensive. In a word, it is racist, pure and simple. Is that really who we are, and what we want to be? I hope not.

Is it racist to say that if you want to live with your own ethnicity, move to a place where your preferred ethnicity lives in. If people want to live in places where there are more Europeans or anything else, move to cities that has more Europeans or anything else. In reality, it is easier to move an individual than to move a group of people. The whole world doesn't evolve around a single individual. Everyone has the freedom to chose to live wherever they want.

From a FRENCHMAN\nWe all complain about immigrants coming but there are 2 things we forget: 1. As long as we Europeans keep putting people that we’ve our interests down there, those countries will be deteriorating and people will keep coming up here in Europe or even in the US for Central Americans! 2. Let’s say we kick the butt of our migrants back to where they are from… well… we can do that for sure… but who cleans our office, who does the tough jobs for us while not complaining about lower pays and tougher conditions? Who build our stupid buildings here in Europe or even in America?? Who???? And who clean our toilets? If you guys want to kick immigrants, feel free to do so, but beforehand, tell your sons and your daughters to take onto those immigrant jobs! Tell our European and American or even Canadian kids to do those lousy jobs! With the spoiled way we raised them, how many would be candidate??? All of our kids all want to be “big boss” and earn 80k or 130k per year!!! Let those 49k jobs be for legal brown, black and yellow immigrants and let those fruit picking and construction work be for barely legal immigrants… \nThis is why I am leaving Canada soon as I am fed up with this hypocrit and superficial culture that is obsessed with money and where u gotta work work work and get everything you saved to ou taxes!! Fed up with the lousy and inefficient Canadian healthcare and transportation system (Europe has a much better one for sure). All of this is caused by corporate greed gumming up the system with lobbying, NIMBYism, and plain old corruption by large real estate and rental groups. Love or hate Trudeau, it doesn't matter, either Liberals or Conservatives would have let this happen. The system is working as designed. Corporate greed is sucking the wealth and value out of North America and if we don't push against it, we'll continue to see more of the same. This has been happening for decades, this didn't begin in 2015. It's just we're now hitting the tipping point where everyone wakes up and realizes that blindly chasing profits doesn't create a strong economy or a strong country. You have to invest in your people if you want your country to thrive.

i'm canadian and i'm tired of living here. unchecked immigration is ruining this country because it drives prices up. few if any affordable places to live, insanely high grocery prices for even basic necessities, health care is slow, public transportation is inconvenient and inefficient, etc. i want to leave for a country that takes better care of the people.

Good video. As much as people want to deny it, the reality is Canada is a resource based economy. Our economy grows during commodity upcycles, and so does the $CAD. The Canadian economy will do well in the next decade but we need a government that does not actively punish what is our bread & butter.

Don't you think this is a bit sensationalist to say no one wants to live here, considering millions are immigrating each year (way too many of course, but clearly many people want to live here)? The housing shortage started decades ago with the defunding of CMHC, which you didn't even mention. I guess it's convenient to have one (contemporary) scapegoat as opposed to realizing that all of these are systemic and GLOBAL issues that have been brewing for some time. Political parties are simply corporate pawns, and this is the same the world over.

I don't agree that North American cities are all ugly just like not all European cities are all that beautiful. Go to Rome, Naples Athens and you will see how dirty and run down these cities are. And no Vancouver is not nicer than Chicago.\n\n I think the mindset here in Canada especially Ontario is not the best. Everyone is all about going to work and just isolating. In Europe it's much more vibrant. People want to go out and socialize a lot more. Here it's basically work and home. Not much else.\n\n If things were good here economically all these points would take a back seat and most people would tolerate them. But when rent is $2000 plus. Wages are barely going up etc..etc..than everything else starts to grate on you.

They plant hamas supporters in these protests at NYU. All people want is justice for the Palestinians and then they put plants in these protests to make them look bad.

I would agree\n Canada is on top. My favorite is the acceptance level. In America is a get down on your knees first mentality. It involves a lot of unnecessary proving of ones self before any type of approval can be gained and since the quality of it's people has declined so much this is very dangerous place to be a resident. Canada was very accepting of me. Nothing was expected of me other than I was another human being. Nobody was accusing me of being some type of criminal without cause and expecting me to get all sorts of caught off guard and wanting me to some how disprove the accusations thrust upon me. Americans like this type of gamesmanship.

I think in all honesty people are just getting fed up and what ever feud countries have with each other should stay in their countries. I don’t want to live in a country full of different religions and beliefs. I just want to live in a peaceful society. The Canadian government is a very racist institution. They are openly racist against their own White population. They promote and celebrate everybody else but dump on White people. The same thing is being done to Whites in other Capitalist nations. This is all by design. There are literally hundreds of programs set up for anybody who is not White but nothing for Whites. So Whites have fewer children and some turn to drugs and crime. That is what the government wants. They want Whites eradicated. Its a silent genocide unfolding before our eyes. Even though Whites are less than 18% of the population and even though they are the real Global Minority the givernment still calls them the majority and uses that excuse to deprive them of programs, jobs, education and funding which is fueled by the tax payer. More Whites need to speak up.

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. That’s the thing…. In Canada, you don’t have to be strategic about where you move. Most places are welcoming. We still have some racism and issues, but I know many people of different colours and cultures that have never experienced racism in Canada. We allow others to practice whatever religion you want, as long as you don’t hurt other people. We don’t unalive each other over religion or politics. To a Canadian, the United States is not a first world country. It’s where you go to lose your rights and freedoms.

If you are unable to integrate into the country you want to go to then don't go to that country. I lived in another country for a period of time and I always respected the rules and customs of that country. The West needs to expect people coming into our countries to respect our customs and laws too.

Your title is not quite correct. Obviously, many people want to live in Canada..but you made the mistake of claiming 'No One', which of course is zero. However, perhaps you did survey every single person on the planet to arrive at your conclusion 'No One Wants to Live in Canada'. Let's see that data!
