I’ve shockingly had the opposite, when I did cheerleading I was the palest girl on the entire team (and in the whole school). While racism is real, there are certain people from some religious dicatorships in Canada spying on the free people of this country and making people uncomfortable too. there are those who want to push their beliefs on all Canadians and there has to be a balance in terms of acceptance and inclusiveness. I find many times people also play the race or discrimination card to push their beliefs and ways of life on others while I have heard them for example swear at and judge Canadians for example who don't cover up their hair or wear mini skirts......that is also discrimination and judgement and is also 100% wrong, even though they may be doing it quietly or in their own language. There is sometimes (besides obvious cases of racism of course) that there are 2 sides to the story! People that come to Canada also need to respect its values of respect for all, not just ask for it for themselves. While a lot of wonderful people come here and have the utmost respect for Canada that is NOT the case with those pushing their beliefs and particularly religious views on the rest of Canadians making them feel like outsiders I have heard many stories about.

This is such bs. I’m so sick of news articles treating deportation like it’s some national sin. We’re supposed to feel bad that people get deported for living here illegally?! That’s what deportation is for! This chick is 30 she’s been here 18 years, if she was concerned about going through proper channels, she would have. I have been followed in target for looking like people of walmart. As a mom of two I rarely look fabulous. Typically I look pretty homeless without hair and makeup. \nWhen I was followed it made me feel so shameful when I was doing NOTHING wrong. I ended up leaving with nothing and I haven't been back since. Now I am imagining this happening everywhere.\nI am so sorry for the world we live in. Especially for people of color.

Many people throughout the world seem to have so many stereotypes about Americans. Whether it is good or bad there typically is some truth in a stereotype. Overall it seems like you are enjoying yourself and no matter what there is no place like home. I would think no matter what your current situation is you still miss Canada as I would miss the United States if I were to move to Canada. \nA couple things you mentioned in the video were not correct and as with anything there may be a little truth in the matter but yet still incorrect.\nThose who do not have health insurance are not charged or taxed $150 monthly. There is a provision in the affordable care act (ACA) that penalizes certain individuals who make above a certain dollar amount. The amount is either $150 or $300 for the entire year. I concur any monetary penalty against anyone for not having health insurance is outrageous. I could be wrong but I believe this aspect of the ACA was never implemented under President Obama and it was indefinitely suspended or revoked by President Trump. I also feel like I need to address your thoughts about the United States all about war. I believe the American people are like most other people and want peace and civility. The government and major defense contractors have differing opinions at times. Of course there is plenty of people who are war hawks but they are in the minority. Most of us are absolutely sick of war. We currently have been at war for almost 19 years. That's six complete world war 2's in their entirety. \nI think you were being awfully generous when you said obesity is on par with the rest of the world!! Unfortunately there is far to many fat people here and the problem is only getting worse because the media says be happy and proud you are fat. Celebrating obesity is absolutely insane and it sends the wrong message to young people. It makes no sense to wear nakaabs and burkha in western countries. You want to follow the traditions of the religion and on the other side you are fond of living in European countries. Your desire to move to European countries, vividly clears the picture that you are not interested to live in your own country, where all people are Muslims. If Islam is that much good, then there is no need to leave your own countries. Stop doing. You are finding satisfaction in European countries and having their traditions and customs. Discrimination happens because of everything that’s not part of the married couple with three perfect kids who play the make believe Disneyland couples dream...if you’re a single mom...if u receive an income that’s not from an office job as the secretary or whatever...if ur low income...if you’re a mom of a teenager...I’ve had my rent raised monthly while everyone else got to keep their original lower rent...I had to pay $720 for deposit on my apartment while others paid $300 for theirs that were exactly the same as mine.. I’ve been followed and asked to leave even though o hadn’t had a chance to stop and shoplift...I actually called and filed a complaint for the employees behavior on that one..the store manager tried making excuses for her behavior but I asked him...should I be made to feel like I’m not good enough to go into his establishment? Why should I have to come home and look at myself in the mirror to question my clothing or the way I style my hair and makeup...and ask myself what am I doing that makes me look so unworthy..? He zipped it quickly and said he would take care of it.

It is really disheartening to see all this. I had a dream of coming to canada for study when I was young but due to lack of money I failed to come. After that I always wanted to try find a job from outside canada I failed. I am in a situation that I see no way to come to canada . I always wanted to to come work hard make money and start a good life, moreover i had plans to setup my business there with that money and give others the job. And these scammers have it so easy way out . Seems like honesty has no place left. At least give them harsh punishments that will make genuine people feel better.

As a permanent resident based on merit who worked two years to get it, I feel like my work was worthless because people who simply bought their citizenship and can’t even speak English or have any basic merits to qualify for PR are all too common in Canada. I'm not minimising the racism here but I have been followed and asked to open my backpack, I'm British white but must look like a thief to security . One time the shop was my football club's merchandise shop . I think the management realised the security personnel were over zealous because they didnt last long . It's everywhere!! Sometimes when I'm being followed in a store I'll ask security to help carry my items. They don't like that. I'm not a thief and I don't like being followed, so if you want to follow me then help!\nDirty jokes, police brutality, accusations and more. I'm expected to except it, well I don't. If it were done to them they would feel the same way I do. Here's the thing, I'm bi-racial (2/5 white). On applications they cross that out and mark black. That's a lie and makes me look untruthful. It is NOT just race. Depending on the bag or backpack you carry, you get followed, which I hate. And I'm not black. My mother also gets followed everywhere in every Macy's store. It drives me crazy. It's really annoying, because I think it's because my mom has big purses and I usually have my art backpack. \n\nWhen I'm in a different town, I get followed in Walmart all the time. If I forget my shopping bags, I will empty my backpack so I can use that to put all my items in at the end of the purchase.\n\n In Best Buy, I'm lucky to get anyone to help me at all!!! I have to hunt someone down, and most of the time, they don't know anything anyway. Target: I have a hard time finding anyone to help me as well. I haven't really done a social experiment, but sometimes I just have my shopping bags and fill them as I shop and I won't carry a purse.\n\nLocally, I don't get followed because my family and me are known in that town. We know a lot of people and my face is everywhere. I never get followed. But out of town Walmart, I get followed in certain stores. It irritates me immensely, especially since I buy a lot of make up and the make up department is cramped they way they block the end of the aisles. It makes it really hard to turn your cart around when other people are in the same aisle. Then they close the make up aisle even though they have tons of cameras all over!! \n\nOverall, I don't know WHERE these backhanded compliments are coming from. I normally hear stuff about my weight.
