Thank the Americans that go and visit the poor countries bragging how wealthy and easy life they have in the USA. How hypocritical men. I hope USA goes down bad in economics

A relative of mine lives in Austrailia. She really loves instant coffee called Maxim, which is quite popular in Korea. When she visited Korea a few years ago, she grabbed a bunch because she had missed it and to bring it to some of her Korean friends. However, the coffee was taken from her because well... some weird law about dairy products and Maxim contains a substance called prim, which is like powdered milk. They seized everything and she was furious.

my number 1 issue when i went on vacation was the food, like my gosh, I couldn't even drink the milk of how much fat it had, like, it was crazy! beagles were very sweet (which I actually liked BUT I cannot eat that everyday), it's just too much unbalance, and I was like 16... I wasn't a picky eater, so for me it was a big shock, I didn't have a healthy meal once that whole month I was there, and I was staying at my mom's friend with my mom, so it's not like I was at a hotel or something, they didn't sit down to have a family meal or cook home meal stuff for the kids even, it was just a big culture shock overall, and I personally did not rly enjoy it. When I went to visit my family in New Bedford, was pretty much the same thing, the food tasted super different, simple lettuce just didnt taste good, I mean this is my experience ofc, but the struggle with food taste was real xD

Canadian here, and this video is right on the money for some of the most frustrating things about Canada! \n\nOur proudest achievement is our healthcare system, but up until recently, the government has been choking it little by little. Making it so difficult for any Doctor/Nurse to even consider finding work here (and making it impossible to afford getting a medical degree) because you are literally doing it for the love of the game at this point. \n\nEven if you become a specialist in a specific field (which pays really well compared to most careers here) it is unlikely any hospital will hire you. Our hospitals are only interested in making profits by pushing painkillers on Canadians, rather than hiring medical professionals to help fix them. If you become a family Doctor, it is a bit better, because you can open your own practice. But kiss your social life goodbye if you do! The most annoying part of this problem is some people blame all this on the fact that we have healthcare and assume a private American system would be better. Where the real problem is we need more workers and funding into our healthcare to make it better. Not making lives harder for poorer Canadians!\n\nWeirdly enough our Tax system issue didn't stand out as a problem to me until I left Canada and see how taxes are marked elsewhere! It blew my mind that I didn't have to do math when I visited another country and the way we advertise wages is purposely deceptive! In Ontario, we succeeded in getting a $14 hour minimum wage (only in Ontario and maybe one other province). Which sounded amazing until you realize that's $14 without tax... To compare, I was incredibly lucky in Toronto where I found a place for 750 a month and was earning $16 an hour. Sounded like more than enough for the cost of living, but after taxes I was pretty much putting more than half my monthly income in rent. On top of that I had to pay for student loans and other bills. \n\nBottom line, if you are wanting to move to Canada for our beautifully scenic environments, free healthcare, and a stable job? \n\nMove to Finland.

Why does it seem like it's only Europe and the United States that these migrants want to go to...and it feels they think they have the RIGHT to do so. I can tell you with a british passport I have to comply with all types of entry policies including covid policies and strict restrictions on how many days I can visit. Yet these guys can just force their way in! ( .. or try to )

We go down there to Mexico to visit and they kidnap for ransom or kill us, but they wanna come to our country and live a good life we should start doing them how they do us!

Hello CNN . You guys visit\nOUR border but not yours on Texas and others in your country shame on you !!!! I guess once you have a republican in the Whitehouse ; you will visit your borders !!!!!! Think long and hard about this situation

I know what they are doing why don't they visit areas where young girls are being plied with alcohol and drugs passed around for rape and buggery etc culprits mainly Pakistani and Muslim's are involved surely all Muslims find this crime illegal and repulsive breaking the laws of the land you live in and Sharia law. imagine the positive impact this could have in Britain where alcohol and all sorts of crime is rife. If some sort of Sharia laws applied in these areas i believe it could work why not our own police is in disarray currently

Why are you taking 6 months for visit visa ,, cheating I am in Canada, don’t believe them

Why do people want to migrate so badly? Why not just visit the other country for a while and go home? Embrace your culture. It's better to live in your own land surrounded by your family and friends then to be a stranger in a foreign land.

You have obey the kawas of the country you visit or reside in ....if they have problem don't come to usa

Can’t wait to visit Canada again…atleast this time there will be better food like tacos, burritos and other latin food. ??

I've lived in both. Canada is a better place to raise your family for sure, and as a society I think it's a better place to live. It's cleaner, safer, and more diverse (and I'm talking real diversity like Aba mentioned, not segregation). There's some cool stuff about the States, don't get me wrong, but my girlfriend (who is American and has visited Canada with me) and I are strongly contemplating moving to Canada. The US has a better night life culture generally speaking and like Aba said there's more to do, but generally speaking I just want a peaceful and simple life.

Hello, I am applying for my parents Visa and I am a Permanent Resident Of Canada. @ 6.31 - For why are you applying for a Visa ? Should I select the option above what you have selected ? i.e To visit my grandparent, grandchild, sibling, halfsibling, step sibling or non dependant child who is a Canadian citizen, person registered under Canada's Indian act or permanent resident of Canada.

Slap on the face of South Asian people. Lengthy process with hell lot of money and documents... and there you go... flood of criminals, cartels are entering in canada. Thank God I made last minute decision and chose Australia... but now I am in Scandinavia on an assignment. They have some rules. But on my last visit in canada I was very grateful that I did not migrated here....

In 2010 I had a one way ticket to Florida to visit some friends. At the airport they pulled me aside and said that if I didn’t come back to Canada within 14 days I’d never be allowed back into America again. I was traumatized and never went back. But here we are 13 years later and I can just walk wherever I want to go on this side of the world lol…but for real, this is sad. If you aren’t used to Canadian temperatures your in trouble. Hope everyone is okay. It is rough though, I was in a shelter for two months, but some families were there for almost a year because of the housing crisis. I’m not exactly sure how this will work. ?

So I see thousands rushing the US border and a handful trying to get to Canada. What did you see. See Peter Santenellos visit to the US/Mexican border last week please

I have mixed feelings about this. I feel like a total first letter of the alphabet-hole for not thinking of helping right away. When I lived in San Diego, it was a palpable daily reminder. Lots of people have cross-border lives. Family, work, home is on either side of the border. Now living up in Washington State, it's different. Here the border with Canada is all about preventing Canadians from stealing technology from us while allowing them to work for us. Some partners who come visit us often times get searched for technology. Like pen drives, samples, etc. It's a totally different story. Canada probably has less homeless than all of south America. It's an easy claim because literally, if you can't insulate your self in winter you go visit the great gardener Jesus and his weirdo multipersonality disorder. In south America, you just need to eat and not get eaten by things. So the result is that people survive way below the poverty line. Then, the big lie tells them that the US is better so they come over to eventually learn how the others found the three headed gardener the hard way. I feel like maybe if they got a tour of the country and learned how shitty it is to live here too, they might think twice about coming over. There are periods and ways when the US opens it's borders but it's looking like a real shit show right now. We don't have enough jobs and not enough houses to house everyone. At least in south America you can live in the family house and no one bats an eye. People help each other in poverty.

This and China election interference will cost Trudeau the next election. He is so unpopular right now. Biden is visiting Canada this month and Trudeau has no other choice than resolving this issue.

Sad to say everything you have described is almost exactly the same here in the US, except for the taxes and the fact that there are some cool places to visit. Oh and the Southern part of the country is warm. Other than that everything else you mentioned is exactly the same, unfortunately.

I grew up living in US never visited Canada
2023-03-10 0
only reason why Canada is striving is because of the the big bad brother can either don't spend much money on military because big but America is right nextdoor in case of invasion so they use all that money and invested in School & doctor but trump is coming the last time he visits you told the Canadian government to invest more in there military because its unfair as ally

I was taken off my family doctor's list because I haven't visited them in 1 year. Now I cant find a family doctor when I need one. Canada should pay urgent attention to the crisis in their medical system and worry about international politics later.

So the joke was that people in the US keep their shoes on in the house and even in bed! Lol I wonder whose house you’ve visited—not my house (nor any of my friends)?

You should visit a shelter where people do drugs, it isn't pleasant.

Thank you so much for the invaluable information. I have a question, can we apply for visiting visa while processing my citizenship application?

I have question ,can we write down the same thing as an application for a visit to canada under the vistor visa scheme?

Well ,there it is than. I live in the Netherlands and as a Dutch I can tell you we pay also a lot of tax compared to our salary, but public facilities, healthcare, roads, buildings and almost everything else is insanely well arranged. But I wonder, I often see that salaries in the USA and Canada easily can be 80K-150K for 'normal' jobs........well in the Netherlands by far most people do not make 50K a year before tax. So if your are complaining in Canada that the taxes are so high, than there is no other explanation that in the basis goods/services/utility bills are much more expensive compared to your salary right? Great video, I really like this country explainers :) One day I will visit Canada for a nice holiday trip or so, we still have I believe some distant relatives from my grannies side but I am not sure, old people :)

I hate sikh people becoz once a sikh visited padmanabha temple he refuse to take off his turban. He was so rude. Becoz of security reason every one should follow the rules and regulation. I hate them with a great passion. I'm so happy to see this video. Most of ma frnds studying Canada mentioned about punjabis as stupid people.

I'm Jamerican and i visited Canada years ago. Nice homes, clean. True it was boring and bad weather but we have many issues here in Amerikkka too. Everywhere you go you have issues you have to weigh your options. Pick your battles.

Can u help me pls .how can I get invitation letter. I love to visit Canada
2023-02-27 0
I’ve visited Canada a few times. The place baffles me. It’s basically an economic zone with no cultural personality. The only thing Canadians seem to believe in is being “really nice” and passively accepting anything and everything that is “progressive.” What is the point of Canada?

The first thing: homeless and mentally I'll people. Haven't visited up in Canada for a long time, but when we used to visit in the 80's, wow.

Canada is nice, until you speak out against the alphabet mafia. Vancouver was beautiful when I visited a couple years ago and now it's ruined thanks to fentanyl and thanks to useless politicians that refuse to clean the streets. Learn the hard way then. I live in the Bay in California and it's a mess thanks to libs dem policies where criminals have no real consequences for their actions. Water here is perfectly fine imo and I don't need a car to get good food
