Lets face it...time has been tough for now... yes there is housing crisis, students are suffering... canadian dream is broken as of now... but no nation is perfect... it all depends on your hustle whether you want to run towards the storm like a buffalo or a run away like a cow... you judge ur situation whether you r comfortable in ur home country and u think u can make it better overseas...all depends and is very subjective...so analysis your own situation...

Canada should definitely see what kind of an image they have made of themselves. They have shown themselves to look like an illiterate government. Its like the Indian government which has always no good to making its country a better country the way it could have decades ago. Canada too has been ridiculous in maintaining better standards, yet sat in a their own bubble keeps boosting about how they think the country provides some of it best services. like i said in its own bubble and not taking a reality check.

First, one cannot apply for citizenship after only 1 or 2 years living there.\nSecond, as for Indian nationals - they lose their Indian citizenship once any other Nationality is taken.\nThird, working for some years abroad to safe money to be in better position once back home is a not uncommon behaviour. \nAnd last, headline and video are not even linked to one another. My visa got rejected twice. I was really disappointed. Now in hindsight, i think it was for good. As the video depicts, soon Canada will be left without immigrants. Canada is better than USA in lots of ways...

India is way more ahead of Canada, India has advance medical services that is fast and affordable, better food , better infrastructure, affordable internet, less expensive life style, more varieties of cuisine, more transportation options , better education- but not better education system, etc no country is perfect Canada needs to work a lot to improve itself.

Molly talks about housing but housing in Canada are a million times better than the hovel/slums in India.

US has better job opportunities but I left US for Canada because of the gun violence, racism, inadequate health system. Live a more modest life here but am happy to be in Canada. Also Canada is a peaceful country over all.

5 eyes!!!! Most Indians dong even get jobs in their expertise of work. Most white collared workers end up in retail, factories or banks in mediocre jobs. I think immigrants are just welcomed because of a shortage of people. Now we realize all that glitters is not gold. Better to work abroad on a short contract and move to the next contract where your quals is valued. Ageing population and taxes to rebuild countries makes immigrants scape goats

people in desperation will do whatever it takes. you dont know their motivations. but crossing a thousand miles and not knowing whether your going to get across or not should tell you they must have strong motivation and are desperate for help.\n\nThese people arent lazy. Good for you. I think all Muslims living in the West especially those with young children should follow suit. Many Muslims parents don't realize the negative effects of public schools and western society's influences on their children until it's too late. You say there is no Islamic environment in Canada. There are more than 50 Muslim countries in the world. You need to go and live in one of them. Better yet, take all your Muslim friends with you.

There are legal measures to immigrate to the US! As a husband and father who paid over $15K to bring my wife and our 4 daughter's legally to the US and now over $5K to help them all attain US citizenship , it is frustrtaing to watch all the unlawful immigration happening. It is appalling to watch US citizens actually coming with excuses for it, and supporting it! If the political systems actually allows and continuee to allow unlawful immigration, they had better add in compensation for those of us who went the legal route! I know compensation for us will never happen, so instead let's enforce legal immigration and secure our borders!!!

This is crazy. Masses of people who we don't know who they are move as please around the world with no documents. Europe is flooded, Canada and the US. This is crazy those people are a threat to public safety. Imagine there is turmoil in their counties and they try to act from inside.. They are not refugees, they have no right to be in our country. Better quality of life? This is not our problem! This has to stop. We are now sleeping on a bomb.

Came to Canada from Kuwait looking for a better future. Big mistake, shouldn't have flapped my gums at work, i had a decent banking job with a career and a future. Now im stuck driving a effin truck with a bachelors degree to make slightly above average with 0 appreciation from the public, and a middle finger to say thank you for my 70 hour work weeks. I see my bed once every 3 days. I sleep next to rats and roaches in truck by the ports. Belittled by port workers and customs agents. Barked at by everyone down to a forklift driver. Looked at as lesser of a human because of the colour of my skin. What a horrible life :( My sister has already left and she was a dentist in Toronto. My mom went back ages ago. My dad is the only one wanting to stay to take care of his elderly patients, many rely on him. All i do is pay taxes and hide my money in the business, what a corrupt and horrible financial system.

As a person who has lived and worked in several countries (as an RN), Canada is still better than most. Certainly, better than the US for the average person.
