Canada needs to discontinue its policy to financially supporting the refugees and asylum seekers otherwise taxpayers should be prepared to host fifteen million distinguishing guests from USA with large financial bill !!!

If they are coming in by Rodham Road, Quebec from the USA, how did they get in the USA in the first place. They had to have documentations, but amazingly, they have none coming into Canada? An asylum seeker comes into a safe country, and that's it, not entering a 2nd country, from the USA, which is in itself a safe country. Also, amazing, how many disposable cell phones were in the ditch before entering Canada by an unauthorized entry point. This is slapping the true immigrants and true asylum seekers coming in the correct way into Canada. But unfortunately, Selfie Boy doesn't see it that way.

There is no evidence of a wave of asylum seekers, and the ones most likely to appear are likely to be the least desireable immigrants. We have to start doing this right again.

They even require a yearly flu shot! I hope they take that requirement away soon. No one is talks about mandating LEGAL immigrations have to get the covid vaccine. But the point is ILLEGAL immigrants aren’t expected to any of these. \n\nNot to mention that legal immigrants, but presumably not TRUE Asylum seekers, have to pay THOUSANDS of dollars to get a green card. \n\nGee I wonder why so many legal Latino immigrants would be pissed that the had to work so hard and pay so much, and these assholes let millions of the 3rd world in with so little requirements that tens of thousands of violent criminals were let in. So much so that Venezuelan gangs were able to take over multiple apartment blocks and hold the occupants hostage and demand “rent” from them.

According to the safe third party rules, any asylum seekers from the US is automatically denied entry since they are not legally speaking real refugees.

I think the illegal asylum seekers should all hunker down at Trudeau's luxury barnyard hostel for which we paid $8M to build.

Remain in Mexico applies to arriving aliens applying for asylum, not asylum seekers who have already been admitted. The latter contravenes federal immigration law, and that's something that a President can't do via executive order. As well, if we deport asylum seekers to a different country, or make asylum seekers wait in another country as their asylum cases are adjudicated, the US government is STILL responsible for providing essential resources and ensuring their safety (this includes providing migrant centers) and the US cannot impede on their right to counsel - and by virtue of making them stay in another country that doesn't HAVE US immigration attorneys, this DOES impede their access to legal council, which is an immediate infringement on civil rights and a key reason why Remain in Mexico was challenged up to the Supreme Court and was kept from fully going into effect.

We shouldn’t be preparing for an influx we need to prepare to close our borders. No more asylum seekers into Canada. Our resources are for the people that pay for them not for those who come here to benefit from our better standard of living. Fix things back home and then immigrate through the proper channels. We don’t need tent cities full of asylum seekers. For those that want to let all those people in then they have to go sign up to take responsibility for them with consequences if they don’t. I would bet the lineup for that would be very short.

Asylum was supposed to be at the first safe country. They are not Asylum seekers they are economic migrants . She “stood in line for hours & days” before she could get her green card, which means she came as an asylum seeker at the border & was granted legal status after the fact! Now she wants her own family who came here the same way as her to be sent back?!?! I see why they are angry with her!

And full disclaimer I live in Victoria, BC so I can share my POV from the Canadian side:\n\nThere's toomuch of low skilled cheap labour coming in from Punjab and other countries like Nigeria, Philippines, etc. Its gotten sooo bad now that even Indians living in Canada are feeling like this is not what we came for.\n\nI can't even start with how bad the immigration has gotten, people can barely and I mean barely speak English and they are working for all possible low skilled jobs. Immigration needs to stop entirely. I would go so far as to send asylum seekers that are already here elsewhere, or send them home. Especially since the majority of them could have settled in dozens of other countries but skipped over them to come here and America.\n\nShut it down completely and focus on Canadians.
