It's not a lie. I have friends telling me stories of Indian Immigrants in small towns like Renfrew, Eaganville, Barrie, and other smaller places in between where there following and harrassing women in small towns. And their daughters alone side them. And their are never arrested. These people have disappeared of the internet 6-8 yrs ago and are popping up in small towns and even smaller villages along the highway. Parking on private property access roads for fires and picnics with there kids. I have seen it first hand all over lanark county and across the east end heading out to Embrun and east towards Plantagenet. And for anyone to deny this..it's because you live in a bubble and never leave the city. Can't goto the Ottawa River anywhere without seeing people bathing in the runoff from our fields and confronting locals tell them to stop trashing out forest and community . All the while throwing garbage into the river and bushes wherever they stop to get out of their cars. These Indians and Muslims do not care about the rules or our country. The Immigrants have over run the country and will not leave peacefully. Ask them yourself if they will. I bet they stand defiantly in your face and tell you "no". Even when they legally do not belong here. This will cause a civil war soon enough. Canada wants it's country back. And they will get it back from the liberals and their foreign army of vagrant, Canadian hating deciples. The time of the liberals has come to and end. Canada will be great again and the liberals will be back at the bottom where they belong. Especially after what they've done to the country and its people. Disgusting that no one has done it YET!!

Lol Also, you came as a international student and knowingly u cant afford the tuition. Its clearly u didnt care about going to school and used it as a gate way to canada. You dont go aboard studying for a better life in that country. U study abroad to either bring back new knowledge to your country or to full fill a requirements for a job back home.. The most common one is the opportunity to have a degree from a well known school for family braging rights and take over family bussiness. Which bring us back to, studying aboard is strictly for wealthy families no matter where u live . Imagine a candian going to london or europe we would pay just as much plus conversion rate. So for indians like him self, studying aboard paying 8 k cad per course shojdl be impossible. Only a super wealthy family can afford that in india or canada .

Funny how everyone screams about immigrants and Indians ‘ruining Brampton,’ but no one bats an eye when billions of OUR tax dollars are shipped to Ukraine. We absolutely do have an immigration problem, I’d say time to turn the tap off, and get on the ones here about status, BUT we cannot allow what has been happening in the states, anyone with a brain can see what the USA has become these days (government wise) But a controlled program without liberals and conservatives talking it into the ground. Or going the human rights violations route. We would see a noticeable decrease in this very evident problem, and yes it’s problem. I’m not liberal or conservative at all and you should not need to be either to see the problem.

I'm surprised no liberal voters are calling this dude a "racist" because it involves Indians. He is literally interviewing both sides of this issue. In my opinion, if the liberal government stays in power, and more and more liberal voters use the racism card on people who point out these issues just to make themselves feel like a good person, more and more major cities in Canada will be filled of them who either entered as an international student, or as an asylum seeker. It is not "multiculturalism" or "diversity" if there is only people from one culture coming to Canada? Where are the people from countries like Italy? Germany? Ukraine? Mexico? It is not racist to point out how in very few homes, most notably in Brampton, around 7 or more people live in one house. It is not racist to point out how these Indians need to learn to write and speak proper English. It is not racist to point out how they need to adapt to our civilized way of life here in Canada. It is not racist to point out the rise in crime done by people of Indian descent. It is not racist to point out how, coincidentally, the quality in Tim Hortons has dropped lately, when in a majority of them have workers of Indian descent, which are usually in major cities. How so? The liberal-imposed foreign worker plan, plus a little bit of corporate greed. It is not racist to point out that Indian "international students" are getting their food from food banks, which are supposed to be for the poor, and how some places of work only hire Indians, because they are run by Indians. Why is this discussion even about Indians? Because they make up HUGE majority of people coming to live in Canada. Matter of fact, this does not apply to Indians coming to Canada, but to whoever goes to live in another country. It does not take much out of you to at least adapt to the way of life in which ever country you go to. The conservative party sees this in a way that the liberals do not. Come back to this comment in another 10-20 years when the liberals are still in power. You'll see the difference.

I think immigration is just one of the surfaces issues that we are facing, too many people get stuck in them instead of the real problem, which is government corruption and greed. If we don’t learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it

Yes in the 80’s as a new emigrants we had to work for our living. We never ever thought to get help from the government we are all integrated in to a Canadian society. We paid taxes from the day one that made us true Canadian citizens. Which I’m a very proud of. In my street two houses own by East Indians They don’t take care of their properties like us taking care of our property. Should I assimilate in to there’s way of life ? Or they should assimilate into our society? The answer to this question is very simple . Assimilate to our way of life or move back to India.

Immigration has increased because the government needs more people for the economy. The population 25+ years ago was enough to keep with the costs and demand. Now, Canada probably has a lot of demand and needs an influx of people both for education and jobs. Indians are enticed to come because they hear about towns that cater towards Indians like Brampton. Chinese people used to be the majority of immigrants and that was because Chinatowns would cater to them. Not to mention, these immigrants likely have temporary worker or student visas. These an whole thing with the student visas but I don't want to get into it. So Amazon and other large companies need a lot of workers for their demand and look outside of Canada to fill the job numbers. Meanwhile, Canadians that have been here for awhile are on the streets and jobless. So basically, Canada needs immigration for its demand but I think when too many people come all at once and from usually one country, Canadians will notice the change and feel the tensions that come with it.

I am First Nations and I have been concerned about how the face and language of Canada has changed. The first thing we noticed in our small town was that the taxi companies were taken over by East Indians. Now days you are hard pressed to get a taxi anywhere in Canada and get a driver who hails from India. I used to like Tim Horton's until I needed an interpreter to make my order, one doesn't speak English so, she had to get another worker to take my order. You go into any 7/11 or any gas station, or convenience store. All are staffed by people from India. But, it isn't just Indians. There are many other immigrants coming to Canada from China, Japan etc. None of these immigrants do not speak very good English. I have faced prejudice from these people who do not recognize my rights as an indigenous person. Going for an xray, blood test the field is mostly Asian. I have to get cataract surgery and I couldn't understand the Chinese receptionist and had to spell most of what I said to her. That means their business is mostly with Chinese-speaking people. As a First Nations person my status will always be a minority. With every immigrant that comes to Canada my status as an indigenous person diminishes. Taking transit shows me that english or french are ever spoken. Canadians are the new minority.

Indian community, especially Hindus, who are deeply engrossed in superstitions and their religion are known for destroying the native cultures. Even many Indians who are other than Hindus, know their secret agenda but western countries remain completely ignorant and oblivion to Hindu style of working. In India also, they deliberately assigned Hinduism to every tribes, although truth is that many tribes (well known tribe is Jatt/Jat) in India have their own culture and they do not belong to Hinduism or any other known religions of Hindu, Muslim, and Christians. Hinduism is just construction of sanghi brahamins, who destroyed India oldest known dhamm budhism. Intially these so called Hindus show kindness and courtesy to the culture of foreign countries they go. Once they get settled there, starts spreading hate against other relgions and cultures. One day, I am sure that these people make western countries's societies worst than India. You will see the big heaps of garbage and polluted rivers in west. Westerners are destined to be destroyed because of lack of understanding about these people.

People from different ethnicities are getting hard time from one community make them uncomfortable hence moving out. City should be distributed equally from different ethnicities instead. Indian community dominance is bizzare

They come here with nothing from one of the poorest countries in the world. Yet when they get here somehow they're able to afford million dollar homes million dollar businesses tens of thousands of dollars in cars expensive. Luxuries. All while still collecting taxpayers dollars from hard-working Canadians! There's a 1% of them who conform to our laws and our ways and the ways of the Canadians. I came here 25 years ago from India. While growing up, I would go to the terrace of my home and turn the antenna to get Cbc at night. I watched Air Farce One, the green show, NFB and Cbc and was always fascinated with Canada. I knew then when I was 20 that I will make Canada home. I wrote my IELTS ENGLISH test, studied here with good grades. And I did. I have an amazing career and young kids. And I have loved everyday of it. I have watched rerun of trailer park boys about 10 or so times already, watched Corner gas, watch hockey, I have embraced the weather, the people and the values this nation stands for. I have travelled coast to coast and to the great north. Heck I have been to more places in Canada with my job than other Canadians who are born and raised here. Now all I see there these ignorant, entitled effs thinking they can come and change the way of life. Like how Don Cherry said, they want the milk and honey but won't respect the values. I am effing done with this immigration and the government. Steven Harper was the prime minister when I got my citizenship and it was the proudest moment of my life. I really hope Canadians wake up. I know exactly why the racism has gone up and I don't blame the Canadians at all. These clowns bought it on to themselves. I just had enough and wish things would back to how it was 20 or so years ago.

the homeless people who would rather starve at the shelter instead are just too racist to go to the gurdwara for free food, or to realise they immigrants are actually kind and hard working. Not everyone is like that in my experience, I'm not from brampton but I'm sikh and I have sikh friends who are white and indigenous as well. One thing people don't realise is a lot of Canadians are actually really racist. You clearly saw that from the interview of the guy and his wife who was an RN, they passed the exam fair and square but I feel like his lack of understanding of the English language didn't get his point across right. The point he missed was the quality of life is higher in Canada, In India it's way easier, the cost of living is way cheaper, there's tons of cheap labour to hire maids for all your house work for example which is common in their culture, but as you've probably seen online, India isn't the cleanest or friendliest place to be, and if he was a nurse in India he would probably be broke without a good job, and having the opportunity to find good high paying jobs in something that Canadians also do when they travel to the US if a position in their field isn't available in whatever local city they grew up in. The main issue stems from international students from like after covid, regardless of country, India is in the spotlight because there's just more indians compared to other countries international students but its all the same stuff, you have kids from all over the world that might not have learned the same cultural practices, fresh 16-18 year olds living alone for the first time that have to do all their own chores and don't even know how to take care of themselves in some cases or do laundry or anything like that and it doesn't mean they were illegal immigrants or anything, just that they never put in the effort to learn because they were too entitled, its the same with entitled kids that go to Korea or Japan from north America as well that don't learn their culture and customs and misbehave because they are too entitled, and once you understand that you can see the bigger picture more clearly instead of just defaulting to racism. Also I'm not saying they can't be frustrated, its frustrating for everyone, even for me but racism isn't the answer.

Immigrants who came to Canada before 2015 really wanted to become Canadian. Now everyone is coming at a fast rate, no one gives a F.

What you are witnessing is not the result of immigration, but the unraveling of a culture built on exploitation, entitlement, and disposability.....one that is now collapsing under its own design. None of us are perfect, but folks keep framing this economic crisis in terms of immigration problem, rather than wealthy elite minority vs dispossessed majority, you are never getting this fixed.

How are canadian businesses forced to hire "minorities" but these indian companies get away with employing 50 people, with every single one being indian, and only 5 speaking english?

It's coming to a small town near you.. I'm just glad they decided to fill up brampton before they fill up surrey (which they surely will very soon) When i was a kid, i was annoyed that there were so many chinese where i lived (Richmond, iykyk) but they never really did anything to wrong me. As i grew up i realized they just mind their own business and stay out the way, and generally let their children be pretty liberal (other than the studying). Now, I absolutely LOVE the chinese compared to all the damn indians. There isn't a trend of chinese buying business' then only hiring other chinese. (idk how indians get away with only hiring indians). The indian kids are rude AF usually, tons of wannabe gangsters, TONS of indian gang crime. . And the worst? the ones that live in brampton and surrey treat it like india. THEY treat YOU like a foreigner. I hate em. I just dont understand why immigrants cant just atleast learn the language and customs

The older whites in Brampton seem to be blaming others because they failed in life. Anyone in Brampton knows a lot of the whites are on drugs in the downtown area. People started getting annoyed about Brampton when the international student boom happened. This is different from families settling or people starting families. Young students who are basically poor and desperate take up all the jobs and they pack so much into one house. Indian international students have ruined Indian reputation in Canada. Indians figured how to game the system and flood Canada better than other nationalities. And it’s true they do not integrate. They leave their land and come to a place where it’s just like home. Where they can live work, and go to school and not interact with any other race, ethnicity probably can go weeks without speaking English. Chinese have similar places like this but they’re not frowned upon.

The population comment by the Pakistani isn't 100% accurate. Sure immigration plays a big role, but undeniably the South Asians still care about having kids and forming a strong family. In my school, most students just want to enjoy life, have kids in the far future, and they don't really care about family ties like these cultures do. They'll be tight with their parents but barely know their cousins or uncles. They'll be in their late 30s finally looking to get married and have kids, which is just not realistic biologically. 45 is the average age for menopause, and you see symptoms of menopause happen before then. Not rare to see a woman get perimenopausal symptoms at age 40. Meanwhile these Asians get married "young" (normal age back in the day), and they plan their future around their family's growth. Can't really blame it on immigration when other nations like Japan and Korea don't see a huge immigrant population from South Asia and still show insanely low birth rates for the locals, because they follow the secular societal standard of having one kid so you can enjoy life. South Asians could be living in a shack and still have 5 kids. We make fun of that in the west, and now our population is on a nosedive.

Every one of you in Canada is an immigrant or descendant of an immigrant, so please don’t do to each other what they did to your grandfathers and grandmothers! Put yourself in the place of the person who just arrived and feel how much they are suffering to start a new life, find a new place, find furniture, change career and look for a new job, get the cultural shock and cold weather shock and learn how to survive the cold winter and learn a new language, and make new contacts, new friends and new families maybe… too much to handle while you are not giving a fuck about all his struggles but pushing him to change his culture automatically like if it’s magic and at the same time he is not aware why on earth is everyone against his religion or accent or way of thinking and your rejections towards them by showing clearly your attack towards them here online without shame! Those people who are escaping from wars or genocides or poverty to find a better opportunity to be able to feed their families abroad, you have no consideration for what brought them here or what they had endured and you want to let them endure more above their struggle to survive all the inconvenience in a capitalist frozen country! Please try to be nice to each other and teach one another how to live respecting one another boundaries and culture! a country with many nationalities is multicultural and multiculturalisme can’t exist with racism and discrimination. Keep the multiculturalism with the nice picture it holds which keep the country warm and colourful. Live in peace and love❤

We are changed with all the new immigrants at 60 I was called a white woman rudely by a white immigrant. I lived upstairs and she rented basement suite At 2 am in the morning she would get on the phone talk loud for two hours below my bedroom and then tell me I was the one noisy and white woman. If you live here follow our laws our culture of kindness and peaceful living or get the f out!

As an immigrant who came to this country & fell in love with its culture 40 years ago, it's appalling to see how our beautiful first world country is quickly becoming a gutter. The newcomers these days are the privileged ones. All of us need to speak up, especially those of us immigrants who retain our original accents &/ non-white because our white fellow Canadians are accused of being racist whenever they do (though many could learn to be more eloquent. ie. go back to your country does NOT help)! I see it as my Canadian duty to remind "misbehaving" newcomers the reason they left their country in the first place. ie. You chose Canada for a better life, so why try to change it into the one you left? ie. Help me understand your logic? Why not leave your hate & war at the border; just like normal folks won't bring stinky garbage into their new homes. Life is challenging enough when you uprooted to a new country (especially our unforgiving cold Winter). So, just focus on the positive things in your new country & leave all your miseries behind... ie. Learn to adapt & enjoy your new country. Canada is a great country because of the love & effort of those before you, so now you are the beneficiary. Join the legacy by enhancing this beautiful country & its culture, so you can pass on this century old legacy for later newcomers to enjoy, like you do now. What dignity do you have & what kind of life lessons to your children by bullying your culture & religion into Canada at the expense of other Canadians? This will fracture Canada if everyone does that. Do you want this country to become so fractured & terrible that your descendants have to leave for a better country, like you did? Is that what your religion teaches you? Does it state it's perfectly fine to satisfy all your whims & wishes at the expense of others? Canadians are so friendly & helpful, if you need help, just ask, please don't demand. Learn the language & it's ok to speak broken/pigeon English with gestures to communicate. No one expects you to be an English scholar; you gain respect for trying. Apply some basic Canadians manners, which goes a long way... Please & Thank You, Smile doesn't cost you anything, besides it's good exercise for your facial muscles. I worked my entire career with the public, I very seldom encounter negative feedback when I do the above. If they get nasty, I tell them that's definitely not the Canadian way to make friends & wish them Good Luck! I also make a point in telling the wealthy ones "Tax Avoidance is legal (I'm more than happy to show them), but Tax Evasion is not! Then reminding them....Canada will be bankrupt eventually if everyone don't pay their fair share of taxes. ie. You may not suffer, but your children/grandchildren will. Worst Case scenario, you didn't get the necessary medical care when you most needed it!!! We should lobby for a mandatory course that all newcomers have to take & PASS a test about Canadian culture & expectations. If they fail, no citizenship for sure! But that would be another hornets nest because our parliament will debate over definition of "Canadian Culture" for decades. Welcome to Canada!😂

My parents came here more than 20yrs ago. People have to move and adapt to standards. 1. Wear deo, pls. 2. Pray at facilities/home 3. Please stop being so loud in restaurants. 4. Your kids may not run around the restaurant. Tend to them yourself!! 5. Respect one another. This doesn't go out just for the majority, from one country. Today i met horrific British immigrants who let their 6kids run around the restaurant while they talk so loud from the top of their lungs. They made mess all around the table and did not clean any bit. Why do we get worse mannered people?!?

This is why I desperately wish there was an actual Libertarian party to vote for in elections! There is a party, but they have not gotten enough signatures to be able to run yet, I don't even know if there is an office or representative in Ontario right now! I wish! Their policies (on paper) seem great, and geared more towards a 'Canada first'/'Canadians First' approach. They touch on a lot of topics and there seem to be a lot of things they want to change! But a government is still a government, they will be motivated by money regardless of any good intentions they may have. So if and when things change, WE NEED TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE! We as the citizens have the power to change things for the better! It's just unfortunate that I see so many people getting pushed down or ignored or hated because they are speaking their mind. Remember, Canada dosen't have laws like the US, our freedoms aren't as protected nor do we have the same freedoms they do (like owning and protecting your own property, or self defense!) We as people need to start being honest and expressing things instead of being terrified of the backlash (of which there will be in these times). The only way we can make progress is by deciding to get out of our comfort zones and standing for what is right! For the freedoms and protections we deserve! To make a future worth living for us and our children! It will not be easy, but when is change ever easy? I hope that one day I won't be terrified of the thought of bringing a life into this world and country. I hope I can be stable enough to be able to give my future children a decent life. But right now? I would never want to have children, things are too unstable and I don't want to bring a child into this country and force them to live a terrible life they never asked for! I desperately want to be able to keep hoping for a better future, a better country, and people who can enjoy their lives instead of constantly worrying and stressing about everything. I hope some can consider looking into the Libertarian party as well! They may be small right now, but they seem to be wanting to right the wrongs that have occured.

Because we were raised in so much peace and we were protected so much from fighting by the ones who fought the most to get here. Through their protection and confidence that their sacrifice was enough....we were never taught how to fight for our rights. We were fed the lie that their sacrifice was enough. It's sad to see after 100 years all of that blood shed was still not enough. Lest we forget. We have always been treated as a company, but with respect of our growing culture. Now we are treated as a commodity, and being stripped of the culture here and replaced by people from around the world fleeing their own, but wanting to bring it here to our home. By the reverse promise that by leaving their home is going to make it better AND it hasn't and that's clear.

Our only hope to get rid of these parasites is for the US to annex us. Our government benefits from cutting our throats and they will never get rid of them. Even Pollievre is a globalist. We can't win if every leader (who has the potential to win) is a globalist. Multiculturalism is a mistake and it wasn't one we could afford to make with a population density of 10%. Send them all home. If there's no attempt to integrate they need to leave.

I came to Canada 20 yrs ago as a skilled worker. Brought a lot of money , pass ielts with 8.5 bands even learn French . I was a software engineer . Got a job paid all taxes here . Learn and respect Canadian culture adopt it . Upgrade my education to masters in AI . Now I can’t get a job coz Indian support Indian . And Pakistani prefer Canadian over Pakistani . No job on merit and skill ? Found out many dumb ppl got job even they are not citizens ? How come ? Coz they have reference ? I came to Canada for my kids better future now Canada is being taken over by one culture and I really don’t like this . Crimes are increasing , schools are over crowded , health system is exhausted . They should do something otherwise after 10 yrs when our kids grew up Canada won’t be same as it was when we came

Im a Canadian and honestly I've NEVER had a problem finding a job, I don't even have my highschool... I think it has to do with *which* jobs they are applying for. I get that theres an "immigration" problem, the refusal to adapt and assimilate feels like a slap in the face especially when the same few will talk I'll of the same system they benefit from. HOWEVER I don't think it's good to lump all of these problems together and dump collective blame on immigrants. For 1, all this immigration and policies have happened under a liberal government and y'all voted then in, AGAIN. - clearly you're not THAT desperate for change. 2nd. Are the ones saying they can't find work willing to work in trades? General laborers making $25-$30+++ No experience required. Tradespeople are glad to teach people willing to work hard and learn.. What about warehouse work? Apply to your 5 closest warehouses, I guarantee youll get in 1.. ALSO the government IS willing to help Canadians get little certifications like forklift, smartserve, CPR.. Career colleges can help with training (e.g - computer) as well as soft skills. So yeah, I wonder if it's people being just as picky as they were when Canada wasn't in the economical shitter it is in rn? Maybe Im far luckier or fortunate than most? Maybe expectations are too high? Maybe some stubbornly refuse assistance they are entitled to? Im not sure, but I do sympathize/empathize with you guys, I hope you all can "get through". I pray we can find solutions to this insane cost of living / broken housing market / price gouging / tiny group of business owners having a complete market control and a monopoly on everything thing we need to survive - without competition, limitations or government regulation🫩. This mass immigration is deliberate and if you follow global politics you will see this isn’t just happening in Canada. Show them how they may never own a home, how their kids will be worse off than them. That buy bringing in about 2 million more immigrants a year it is causing inflation and the affordability crisis. I believe if you can show these immigrant communities the truth they may consider voting conservative. I grew up with integration that I LOVED, met people from all over the world. I've been working since I was 14 I've worked for people from all over the world , rented from different people since I was 18 and learned great things I can add to my construction or cooking repertoire that you could possibly couldn't learn in the West without diversity. BUT now we have a group of people coming here buying up businesses while only hiring people from their country buying up single homes putting up crammy 8 plexus, and only renting to people from their home country. I am an immigrant,I never abused the system, never took what was not mine, I worked hard and I am nurse, I waited four years to purchase my dream car and 2 months in, the person who don’t use road codes or stop light hit my car! I worked hard and I am kind and respectful…. People who steal DAILY gets a slap on their wrist and gets their Canadian citizenship right away. I don’t eat or drink and place my cup on store shelves with clothes that other people are about to purchase. Canada is not safe anymore! All the jobs are going to a set of immigrants who acts like pigs! Driving in the dowtown area, u have to keep your foot on the break because there WILL be about 20 bikes that will ride in front of your car without notice . I work so hard and sometimes it’s so overwhelming, the last time this got to me…. I had to go and take a little vacation…. No I could not afford it but it’s better than getting stressed out because Canada is becoming a 3rd world country!!! There are HONEST people who work so hard and cannot afford anything , not even their rent! WE ARE FED UP, it is not the older immigrants, it is the new ones that are destroying the country and turning it into trash!

I heard why the government did the immigrants wrong. I was talking to an uber driver and my pharmacist. They told me the promises of luxury in Canada has and offered for them to live a better lives. They didn't know after they came here for work and or college/university they become in major debt. They said that they're in a luxury debt and never getting out of debt knowing that they're stuck in Canada and can't be allowed to leave unless they pay off the debts. That's 100 % wrong to do that to people when they know they don't feel welcomed and want to go home. I'm a metis Canadian and I had to leave Ontario to find affordability and miss my home. GOVERNMENT THIS IS YOUR FAULT AND YOU KNOW IT! Let them go home in debt. You made this mess. FIX IT! Including the baby boomers that made the problem started 8 % rate interests to buy houses. That was a mistake that should be bought 1 house and nothing else. I forgot to add something. The uber driver told me that india doesn't know that it's a debt luxury trap that you can't leave unless you pay your debt. He felt alone and found some people and the internet to make himself feel better temporary. TEMPORARY! He hates it here, but he respects Canadians. He feels sorry for the new ones that are coming to become debt trap. It's the same for the pharmacy. She got into college to be a pharmacy and bought the store. She is on low income but doesn't qualify for any supports like benefits to pay off her medical things. The reason she can't because they'll see the pharmacy store is income. Wait what? So she doesn't quilify for benefits because she's making income to pay off her massive loan to do her job. It's not enough to live by as what she told me. She also does misses home, but also traped in luxury debt. This is what I have learned so far. I went through a car accident and coudln't get out of the car. I thought in Brampton, Ontario was the rudest people on the planet, but was saved by the angels of indian people saved me out of the vehicle from the smoke. I still thank you! There is still good people out there and some are stupid people out there. Keep it up because being kind gets you to be positive to others and make things better when the world is fcked right now.

You know, I am an immigrant myself but I have always have had a beef how other immigrants act all entitled. Immigrating is like going to live in another people's house, you have to respect the rules of that house. I hate people trying to change the rules to their convenience. It’s sad being a born Canadian and watching the land I love turn into an income battleground. Nobody wants to hire someone with the thought of training. They want people with experience but won’t give the experience to those who lived here and need it. They’d rather hire someone from somewhere else that has experience and then fails to follow through as the born and raised person given the opportunity would. The amount I’ve seen white people fight to work and work fighting to keep their job burning themselves out when they’re easily replaceable by someone for a fraction of the cost and needing 3 people in their place since most immigrants are extremely lazy, especially after getting the pr. I’ve watched so many eastern Indians start to work full time. Hardly do anything until they get their card then drop off the map of actual work being done only to move to Ontario. I like you & your attitude about coming to Canada. I’m subscribing. I feel for the young girl looking for a job. There are tons of jobs on indeed in my city. I apply for both part & full time. I apply for at least 10-20 a day. I’m not getting calls for interviews. I’ve even applied twice to one job because I was not chosen but 2 weeks later the same position was back. I’m fortunate enough to not have to work. I have a husband that makes a very good salary that pays for all of the bills , groceries & vacations. Up until Covid collapsed my 2 franchises & I was sinking more money in than making it I had to sell one for 1/3 of what I paid for it & give the other away. I started a small business at home doing lash extensions. I have my regular clients. But if I want to save my own money it’s not sustainable or steady. I want to work because I enjoy leaving my home not to just go grocery shopping or visit family. That’s even if they are home from work. I like having a purpose. I’m skilled in accounting, cleaning, sales, marketing, customer service you name it. Many might say that I’m very lucky. I am very blessed but it’s also very lonely. Plus I have always worked & had independence. I hate asking my husband to send me money so I can pay my cell, credit card bills. I don’t even go shopping without him for new clothes because I rely on him to pay for those too. Hypothetically we broke up tomorrow I’d be screwed. I worry about if he dies. There’s life insurance but we still have a mortgage to pay & monthly bills. Plus of course I’d make sure his kids got some too. Not to mention I’ve had mental health struggles with social anxiety & agoraphobia years ago. The more I stay home the more I get anxious about going out. Days can get boring & then I find myself napping all afternoon. I need a job. I just want my own money. I don’t want to go to my husband every 3 months & ask him to send me 2000.00 to clear up my overdraft for one business day. I don’t even want to have to use it. Sorry for the rant but I feel that even when filing out applications many times I’m asked if I’m racialized. In other words is my skin brown.
