As a Canadian who has traveled to 12/13 provinces/territories (sorry NFLD) and all regions of the mainland USA I have couple comments. First, both Canada and the USA the accents and culture are very different depending on the area (another similarity!). People from Vermont have more in common with people from New Brunswick than they do with their fellow Americans in Texas. People from British Columbia have more in common with people from Washington than they do with Quebeckers. Second, I actually find that Americans are super friendly in some states, more outgoing than Canadians (like say Tennessee). Also, Drew, if you ever want to go to the Far North in Canada it's a whole other world of Inuit people speaking Inuktitut on Baffin Island - for me that area seems like another country!

I’m so sorry for all of you precious people of Canada! You’re our neighbors (the state of Tennessee USA here) and we see you’re having to put up with everything the Democrats want to do to us if they come into power this November. (The only way they could do that is voter fraud, which is exactly what happened in what we call the mid-term elections in November 2018, when some House of Representatives and Senate seats come open in the two-year cycle halfway thru the Presidential elections - that’s how they won the House back) \n\nThat poor displaced family, though. Bless them; officials need to get to the bottom of where they’ve been, where they actually have citizenship, and attend to them properly and GET CANADIANS HOME! President Trump needs to go up there and jerk a knot in Mr. Trudeau’s rear end. (That’s an old country Southern saying; don’t overthink it please!?? We finally have a President who may be a little bristly, but he loves America and Americans and he is working hard for us!)\n\nBut seriously, wish you much success and although I can’t monetarily, our greatest weapon is prayer and my armor is on (Ephesians 6)!!! Keean, you’ve stepped up to the plate because you love Canada and want to do what’s right by her! You’re doing a wonderful job - “absolutely fantastic” as my YouTube friend Mentour pilot would say. So we hope the situation gets resolved quickly, because this virus is taking its toll on everyone in more ways than one, and in ways we’ve not even seen yet and have no way to predict. Keep looking up though! And make sure you belong to Jesus Christ . Amen!

When i was in Vancouver i met a lot of rude Canadians....some were waiters and hotel staffers and an airport worker. Seriously im nice but next time im going to tell these people off. Actually I gave NO tips to the rude waiters and Tweeted about the bad customer service!! Twitter is helpful in many ways!!

On behalf of most Canadians, we sincerely apologize for her behaviour. We are actually nice people. Alberta is less diverse than Ontario, but our society is changing slowly. Canada belongs to aboriginal people. It’s not her country if she’s going to play that card. Cheers from Canada!

As a permanent resident based on merit who worked two years to get it, I feel like my work was worthless because people who simply bought their citizenship and can’t even speak English or have any basic merits to qualify for PR are all too common in Canada. The Canadian skilled migration is a scam, skilled workers are better off going somewhere they will actually be valued.

If they are sooo 'fearful''? then go and live in a country that actually 'agrees' with your ideology and the way you wish to live. Clearly Canadians do NOT wish to live under your Sharia law (which IS your ultimate aim) PFT

People who believe his BS should open ur door and invite the refugees to live at ur house and use ur money! \nAll the tax we pay benefits the people who don’t pay themselves. I was born in Seattle and left to Canada (married) when I was in early 20's!  This then was a good change for me as Vancouver was a great city compared to Seattle, moved right downtown and had a blast so for a young person (then) was great.  Met some great people from all over the world and had health care, medical/Dental etc.... I worked in the greater Vancouver area for 8 years and it was tough, very strict, and did not help that I was from the states, white bread Canadian seemed a bit jealous that I was there, sometimes not very friendly.  The Europeans I met were actually better to deal with and I got along quite well with them.  The cost of living was about the same as in Seattle.  After about 8 years being in Canada and working hard I saw America booming and the Canadian dollar was as low as $.62 cents (in late 90's) so I took my craft from Vancouver and brought it to the US just across the border, I became much happier working in the States, I took a little bit of bs but not bad from some that I had a Canadian accent (go figure when I moved up there I had a twang) I really never left the united states I will always be American and I have been still working in the US for over 20 years and deal with mainly Americans on a daily basis from all over the State of Washington.  Depending on where you grow up or end up you should never see a border Seattle and Vancouver have more in common than Vancouver / Calgary in fact most Canadians don't care much for the other provinces.  After 30 years of being part of both countries, I can say that people are people both have great offerings and if you took the best of Canada and America to combine then we would all prosper, there is so much both can learn from each other.  Bottom line:I take the best of both worlds and what they have to offer, yes, I have found less expensive goods in Canada than what they cost in the states.  I have seen it from both eyes, and if you cant be open culturally then stay away.

This central american guy is no real refugee. He is just a law breaker who violated immigration laws so he could bypass the legal system and those who actually go through the process. Not only did he violate US and Canadian territory but also Mexican as well. I understand his motives, but no sympathy here for law breakers like him. There is an immigration process and he must respect it.

this 'muslim women' not wearing nikab is so full of shit its not even funny. why is indonesia and malyasia islamic countries. did muslims go there and start wars, NO. these asians accepted the religion because of their research and analysis of authentic textual evidence. spain was a muslim country for years and those years in history contained some of the best times for civil justice in that region. the reason she's not covering her hair probably has to do with the fact that arabic is not even her first language and if you put a gun to this chicks head and told her to recite surat al faitha (something muslims suppose to say 17 times per day) she couldnt do it in a million years. this same woman also said in the interview that the sixth pillar of islam is jihad\nin fundementalism and thats a lie. the sixth pillar of islam is considered to be al kadr (believe in predistination) and the fact that this ignorant woman had the call to go on national televison and speak about islam like she actually knew or understood anything is dispicable because non of the shit that this stupid bitch said in the interview was factually correct about the religion , so why don't you get the actual facts citynews you bunch of dusters and stop airing fear mongering macivalian style tatics to slowly rip away human rights to freedom of self expression to prodominately new immigrant canadians. these fresh immigrants have been through enough with out you rich good looking assholes shitting all over them. you anti-islam people are dicks
