Most of these International students spend $30 to $40,000/- to come here and settle down . The courses which are offered by these no name Candian institutes in which these people enroll into are of ZERO value back home and even here in Canada there is not much value. Purpose is just to settle down and every one knows that . Its just a huge scam and everyone is a part of it . I wish they could have used this money to initiate a start up back home .

The government under Trudeau is a disaster and it shows that he does not know what he is doing. He is giving foreigners the chance to thrive in Canada and does not think of the Canadian residents. A lot of the students uses every loophole to stay in Canada either before and after education to secure permanent residents. Why are students allowed to work. They are supposed to help the economy by going to school, not taking jobs from Canadians.

Spouses of international students should not be allowed to work here and international students should not be allowed to work more than 20 hrs. International students who are here for only a one year program like MED should not be given work permit now are permitted for PR. They won’t continue in teaching as they are not skilled to teach kids here. They perceive other professions they are using the program only to get PR. They are coming here not o study but to stay here.They are even using food banks when Canadians who are in need are struggling for food here.

Ive lost all respect for indian nationals in this country. College in Brampton, have lectureres using fake degrees, opened a college in a shopping mall with 20 chairs, admitted 5000 international students. With zero english speaking punjabi students. Before 2019 it was hard to find a job and now after this massive number of students bringing from India . All indian students are getting married and bringing their spouse and parents to Canada. How it's possible? Also getting pregnant so when the baby is born they can be a Canadian citizen. When they come as a student How come they get the security job in Canada? When they come as a student they have to study and go back to their country. Because they say when they apply for student visa they show that they have money. So use the money and study & go back. Canadian immigration have to stop giving them the work permit. So the Canadian's can get the work.

The level of institutionalized racism here is mind-blowing. I came here for my masters. For context, I am an African female so I experience racism mixed with sexism often(a very draining combination) Anyway, after less than 2 months in a German university, i realised I wasn't at all welcome. I never got the grades I deserved and after several shocking exam results were released, i decided to challenge their decision and call for my exam scripts. Voila! Turned out I was right! I was being evaluated much harsher than my classmates. I'm still so grateful to my Indian friends who gave their consent for the inquiry board to compare the grading scheme used on the rest of the class to mine! Ever since that incident, I see the hate in their eyes, especially from my German classmates who are angry at me for demanding my rights. I've lost interest in this country ever since and can't wait to graduate and go somewhere else.\nDON'T COME HERE as a skilled immigrant or student! My school fees and every expense incurred to get this education is a huge waste! The quality of education is also shocking and shameful!

The temporary foreign worker programs in all countries are under attack as slavery by the United Nations. What government or individual wants to be a slave or participate in modern slavery. Have your voice though \nIt’s well known that many (not all) foreign students use our local food banks once they get here. By our requirements, you have to show a certain amount of money is available to support yourself while attending school in Canada. Don’t stress the resources of our people in need when you agreed to support yourself.

75% of those indian students don't even have a genuine degree from Indian universities, they use fake degrees and get visa for further education in Western countries, they have no skills, no civic sense and they complaint they are facing racism, these are mainly from Punjab and Haryana state of India which is very unsafe for women, these states are full of illiterate and uncivilized people where drugs and gangs flourish, being an Indian myself I find it funny how they get visa for studies when they have not studied in India at all ????

Dont cut immigration down.....tell me how did Indian intl student makes up about more than 80% out of all international students. Why didnt the government put a cap or a stop specifically just for Indian people? I never ask for Cerb when covid happen, never ask food bank my part time job can fullfill that, paid my fare for using transportation, paid my rents and utilities on time and paid my credit cards. Lastly i never complaint focus on my study and I get good high paying jobs. I am proud to contribute to Canadian Economy as an Immigrant.\n\nThe question is are they doing the same? Why they always issued Indian more and more students visas . Most of these Indian students take admission in under graduate diplomas courses. They hardly speak English . How they hell they pass IELTS and these kind of exams. They use all the unfair means to reach Canada.

Students should bring more money and use 24 hours per week work for bill payments. Old system was defective.

Hi, I'm from India live in India and never dreamt of any other country's citizenship, India is my motherland. As a teacher, I can say that students are going to Western countries because agencies from US, UK, Canada lure them for better education opportunities and better life, their parents spend all their life savings for them and live in financial difficulty here. Some of these agencies are not legal, and people get trapped in various immigration scams all over world. I can see in video the life they are living in bad condition. I think US or UK or Canada or even for the matter India should not allow atleast voting rights, to immigrants right away. If you find some of them useful loyal for betterment of country they can be allowed local citizen's rights. Rest all who are trapped or illegally immigrated should be sent where they belong to by helping them in some way.

No, recruiters dont deceive! Students and the agencies are fully aware of what is their ultimate goal. Enter through some unrecognized colleges and gain PR. Recrutiers have contacts with small colleges and give them business by sending students to Canada. Students are well informed in this day and age what channels to use. There are recruiting agencies in every nook and corner of India sending students for decades.

Does Indian Government allows citizens of other countries Work Permit and Permanent Residency to any Foreign students in India. What a shame if you do not allow any foreigner to verstay why rallying for International Students in Canada. They are using the wrong way of becoming permanent residents. Some of them use fake school certificates to enter the country. Others use illegal methods to obtain business loans and then shut down their businesses after receiving government funds. They have connections within the system. There are fake Indian colleges that process illegal students. My ex husband told me about one school. They get away with too many things, and sadly, those with legitimate certifications who are studying at authorized colleges and paying tuition are unfortunately affected. I'm sure there’s a process in place to ensure that not all will be deported.

They came here as students after studying they should go back to their homeland. Not to take over jobs away from young Canadians. They should have their own health insurance not to use OHIP .

No wonder, East Indians are causing a rift between Canadians & themselves mainly b/c of the vile nature of many of these people who come to Canada & abuse the social services & exploit the system especially those foreign Indian students who come to Canada to these dodgy & nefarious schools &/or diploma mills & then they stay & don’t have a proper residence permit & don’t contribute to the Canadian economy! They also are very unsanitary in that they get truck driver jobs & not only can’t drive properly b/c many have just bought their driving certificate &/or a fake driver license! Once they get a job driving truck, instead of stopping to use a bathroom, they cut a hole in the floors of the truck cabs so they can take a crap through the hole or urinate w/o stopping b/c time is money! It’s so bad that mechanics will not work on those trucks b/c the undercarriage is covered with human fezes! They are also very ignorant & know nothing about please & thank you or smile to customers! \nThey have also been accused of using beaches; such as Wasaga Beach in Ontario as a toilet!

the 70,000 students were coming in illegally i believe, 70k out of 1million+ that have come per year isn't so bad. I blame this whole situation 100% on the government and it totally does suck that these 70k people coming in are going to be deported but again there were and are so much scams that have been going on. If they lied and cheated on the system i don't think we should feel bad. Canada used to have higher standards. My family obviously are immigrant too but there has been no background checks, no proper procedure in the last few years and 2 races have been getting preferential treatment. Most if not all people that come in from Africa are left on the streets while the your country men, indian, and white looking are given a free house, food budget, and dont have to work.. We paying more for taxes and the government has increased work force by 40% yet wait time for services has trippled 3X, make it make sense.

Canadians are homeless, jobless and struggling to survive. Years of overpopulation by our currant government has resulted in Canadians becoming second class citizens in their own country. Stop ALL temporary visas, be it for students, workers, etc until Canadians can once again stand on their own two feet. I dont care where all these temporary people come from but it needs to stop. Already universities are complaining of losing business but who cares. Where are universities when Canadians are sleeping in boxes on the ground. Stop it all for a period of 2-5 years. Our homes which should be used by young couples to raise children and build communities are being occupied by up to 10 at least young international students and the communities are being eroded.

I came in June as a international student to Canada from a south east asian country, I came to Canada hoping to experience social values of a developed nation, but now I feels like I have come to India instead of Canada.. 97% of the classes filled with indians, acting like Indians.. most of them are unable to communicate in english and have no respect to social values. All the international students who comes from other countries have to go through various kinds of discriminations.. In future, I think, the Canadian government should ask for a Panjabi language certificate, instead of the IELTS. Because, english is the least used language in class rooms.

McDonald's and Tim Hortons are used to be partime job for students, But now mostly elder Indians on full time job workers.

It also takes away from from Canadians getting into Canadian colleges and universities as the international students get charged higher tuition fees. More money for the universities. Canadian students end up going over seas. I have a few friends whose kids tried getting into medical school here but were refused. They ended up in Australia, in medical school and are living there now as doctors. We could have used them here.

Immigration must differentiate between true university foreign students and the private so-called “colleges” being used for residency purposes.

Canada has, for the past few years, just welcomed the Labour class, people with no skills and no basic civic sense. People who can't even survive in their own country without any help, and just because they are academically qualified (by the way, people also qualify themselves using fake degrees), they get the visa.
