I’m Canadian and married to an American, and of the two countries we’ve lived in, we’ve decided to plant our roots and raise our kids in Canada. For a lot of the reasons you two hit on, and for some you didn’t. Education, opportunities, cleanliness, etc. I hated waking up in the morning and watching people dumpster diving next to my apartment and thinking, I can’t let my kids go out and play on the little 10x10 piece of grass in front of my parking lot. I felt like my financial situation was limited to minimum wage even though inflation and cost of living was skyrocketing. Americans think they’ve got the best of everything until they travel to other parts of the world.

@CitImmCanada -I came to Canada in 2018 , paid my Tutiom fees working day and night offf , completed my graduation in 2020.I worked as manager in gas station from 2020-2022 during pandemic putting my life on risk , you guys first messed your immigration system during pandemic,after pandemic you got this absurd system of TR2PR , messed up your own system , in which there are Still millions of files pending , then you guys stopped the immigration for 1 year, still I thought it would get better with the time. When the immigration started back in this July the scores were so high that only PHD and people outside Canada with 0 canadian skills can only get the PR. You guys then gave visas to Afghanis , Ukrainians (the fake humanitarian help your government provides )which I don’t mind but the government should have fixed the people who are and we’re here , who came as students , who has all the details of the individuals , has all the experience needed , has all the potential needed to start the career , has 0 criminal record but no you guys keeps getting new and messed up plans. like seriously this country and system is run by this type of people. I am gonna be going back to my country soon as I don’t wantt to stay now in Canada. The coming 10 years will be a disaster if your government and people won’t WAKE UP!!!!

Nothing against the immigrates can’t blame them for wanting a better life, but this will destroy us as a country. We will look back at this years from now as a bad decision. We don’t have enough now for all the people who already are here what about them? How can they just add more people to our problems and expect different outcomes? As an African, I have live in many country and saw the cost of leaving, I can tell you that life is harder in every country if you don't put the work. Nothing is easy. you have to wake up, smell the coffee and work your ass off. Be mindfull to thinks and invest your money or saving cause we never get younger. start planing your retirement when you get your first job cause life is unpredictable. You can get a better life while you ae younger in your carrier. With old age people don't get the same energy as when they were younger. Some old people regretts why they never invested for retirement. The beauty of life is given to everyone who deare to make it beautiful. enjoy.

It angers me what this man has done to his family. How do you claim asylum in a country when fleeing from a country you came to illegally? Immigration laws are very important and protect citizens of a country in many ways. The US welcomes immigrants with open arms when they come here legally. These individuals want to challenge our rights to protect our people, our country. This family may be no threat to our country but if laws are not followed it opens the way for the wrong people to enter. I’m so tired of this manipulation. I am czech, we relatively recently (1989) get rid of totalitarian communists here.I just do not get how is it possible that Canada or Muslims in general are so welcoming to the totalitarian systems - where women are forced to cover the faces. I mean - why the feminists or free thinkers are defending some practice, which is obviously against women and 99% of women wearing it worldwide are forced to do so by men - in countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran. Where is the liberalism and western values gone in Canada ? This is pure nonsense to present it like a freedom. People who say it's the white males in power trying to oppress the Muslims with their culture need to wake up, If these people want to live in a society that abides by Sharia law they should have stayed in their own country or assimilated to the dominant culture in the country they immigrated to.
