I was born here in US, and grew up in the 1970's. Things were so different back then - much more cheerful. My neighborhood was always full of children playing and neighbors became friends and visited one another. Over the years, things have changed in this country. There is more divorce, people are having fewer children, and the population has gotten older. It wasn't perfect, but it was a nicer atmosphere.

I can agree with these comments if your not American, growing up we had all that interaction with family, friends and neighbors. Life n times have changed in America due to gun violence, especially in large cities. Socializing is different in every state in America and in every country. I can understand how if your not accustomed to our ways of life even today, that you would prefer your ways of living back in your hometown and your Country. If you live in a big City in America and moved there from a smaller town in America, you will be feeling some loneliness, that's normal to us in America. If your American then you adjust to making n meeting new people, that hasn't been so easy with the pandemic for anyone. To compare our homes in one community from another or even from another country, is just criticism. We don't have a specific way of living, as far as our homes are constructed. This is how as American's we have always lived, small homes, large homes, big cities, small towns. Since the pandemic we do find ourselves spending more time inside due to no fault of our own. We do have different ways of living but so do other countries which we do enjoy when we visit. If you want to learn more about America and our lifestyles and history, you should do that. Every Country has it's government rules n law's and we try to abide by them, that's what makes our Country n Our Nation Great, that's also why many people come here to visit or work and study. Loneliness can be anywhere, depending on the person you are and reaching out to make new friends or just acquaintances is important. Especially, if your away from friends n family from home or a different Country. ✌️

As my husband (EBM) knows well, our family is recognized all over the city. Either, someone from our church sees us and says hi, the employees at Target, Walmart or other grocery store know us. It’s hard to miss our crazy family. We have three children under 12 years. One must try to engage others. You cannot blame others for a lack of social interaction if you yourself do not try. Do not think that you will get best friends just from talking to some one. Most people want to *feel* they can trust you. Be yourself. Whomever you are. Do not pretend to be anything you are not. While being fake can get you somewhere, it’s still fake. Plenty of people here in the US are fake. You have to find *your* people. It takes time and energy.

One of my siblings ??is in USA ??and he tells us how lonely the place is and how people struggle with mental health and sometimes I just want to tell him if we could exchange places?but I choose to sympathise.this is because he is an extreme extrovert .Party after party kind of person, a person who moves with people ,on the other hand am an extreme introvert?this is the life I live here in kenya????.I can't wait to get back to my house u wish my neighbourhood was like this honestly❤.I reenergise indoors.And am in the process of going to the ?? .I just need one friend who will be my future husband and a doh and am happy.i don't mind having friends but am good with one.So see you on the other side????.

I am from Pakistan. Studied and lived in USA for over 10 years. Don't know where my time has gone so fast. Life is very busy in usa (I lived in Chicago, Denver, Orange County, CA and LA. People have to work two jobs to ends meet. Most people have to share housing...that really sucks. Constant expense (rent or mortgage payments are so high people have to constantly work. Whatever time people get they run chores and stay home and chill. You see ultra rich or people on welfare having fun at the beach. I have had a very close friend from pakistan came to usa same time as I did. we both never had enough time to meet up on regular basis. even when we met we had so many things in back of our minds running. I had couple of girlfriends (of course at different times) but they had other boyfriends at the same time. And number one thing they had on their mind is was get money from you. What you wear and drive is what you are. People consider you obsolete if you wear non branded shoes or older models of branded shoes. I traveled extensively in the US and Canada. But in East Europe like Romania and Poland I found people very friendly. Now I am back in pakistan facing basic problems like traffic jams, noisy honking streets and so on but for some reason i feel worriless and relax. whenever i go out, people start to talk to you and you feel like home. everyone is super friendly and is available for help. however you cant really trust people with money though. hahahha. After living in USA for so long I do really miss many things about it though. the efficient system is definitely a big plus. and i have realized that some times i like being all alone for extensive period of times. but knowing that i can meet up anyone any time gives me peace of mind. i have realized hard way that man made martials can amuse you to some extent only. you need live beings are you.

My experience about Canada after living here for a few years now: \n1): Healthcare: There are two sides of it. If you need a specialist, forget about it, just live with your disease or problems and hope it will cure itself and won’t get worse. If you are in a life threatening condition and need a surgery, you’ll get it and the medical bill won’t scare you. I needed a dermatologist, never got one, eventually had to fly to the US for a simple treatment. \n2): Taxes: You’ll pay extra to take care of the large aging population of Canada and to maintain the infrastructure in the extreme cold weather. But, you can make a good use of your RRSP and TFSA accounts, and you can also buy American stocks without paying taxes. \n3): Travel and transportation: Forget about public transportation methods like buses and trains. You’re on your own. But a vehicle ownership isn’t very hard here. \n4): Social networking: Good luck with that. Good luck finding friends here or being a part of a friends group. Canadians are polite but not outgoing and extrovert. Most people make a few friends in Schools and College. You’re not going to see people of different races and origin hanging out with each other. \n5): Real estate: Population is growing, population is aging, it’s all happening but what’s not many houses are getting built. Buying your own house isn’t easy. If you’ve bought one, good luck with the energy prices. \n5): Landscape: It’s gorgeous out here, if you want to be happy in Canada, go out for sightseeing.\n6): Jobs: Totally depends in which jobs you can fit in and what previous experience you have. If you have previously done exactly what the job profile is asking for, for sure you can find a job.\n\nIn the end I would say, I have lived in many places, each come with their downsides, you have to see what works for you. There’s isn’t a perfect world really there isn’t. You have to take the bad with the good.

I’m Canadian and after all my travels, back and forth between Canada and Southern California, guess where I chose ?? So Cal !!!! Why , 100 times better, so much more to do !!! More money to make !! Weather is 100 times better !! People much kinder and friendly !!! Sorry Canada !!! This one you will loose every time !! Been here 52 years with Green Card , and this year I’ll become a US citizen !! About time !!! Greatest country on earth !!!!!

This is actually really well done. As a person from Saskatchewan, I didn’t expect to be as high on the list as we were. But I like it. To go with our temperature swings and high crime rate (I blame that on us being one of the most racist provinces), we also get tons of beautiful skies, a peaceful life with friendly people, and nature to check out ranging from sand dunes and badlands to northern pine forests.

I’m so sorry for all of you precious people of Canada! You’re our neighbors (the state of Tennessee USA here) and we see you’re having to put up with everything the Democrats want to do to us if they come into power this November. (The only way they could do that is voter fraud, which is exactly what happened in what we call the mid-term elections in November 2018, when some House of Representatives and Senate seats come open in the two-year cycle halfway thru the Presidential elections - that’s how they won the House back) \n\nThat poor displaced family, though. Bless them; officials need to get to the bottom of where they’ve been, where they actually have citizenship, and attend to them properly and GET CANADIANS HOME! President Trump needs to go up there and jerk a knot in Mr. Trudeau’s rear end. (That’s an old country Southern saying; don’t overthink it please!?? We finally have a President who may be a little bristly, but he loves America and Americans and he is working hard for us!)\n\nBut seriously, wish you much success and although I can’t monetarily, our greatest weapon is prayer and my armor is on (Ephesians 6)!!! So we hope the situation gets resolved quickly, because this virus is taking its toll on everyone in more ways than one, and in ways we’ve not even seen yet and have no way to predict. Hello, I just watched your video. Three years after you made it. I hope you are still with us and a very belated Welcome. Many people throughout the world seem to have so many stereotypes about Americans. Whether it is good or bad there typically is some truth in a stereotype. Overall it seems like you are enjoying yourself and no matter what there is no place like home. I would think no matter what your current situation is you still miss Canada as I would miss the United States if I were to move to Canada. \nA couple things you mentioned in the video were not correct and as with anything there may be a little truth in the matter but yet still incorrect.\nThose who do not have health insurance are not charged or taxed $150 monthly. There is a provision in the affordable care act (ACA) that penalizes certain individuals who make above a certain dollar amount. The amount is either $150 or $300 for the entire year. I concur any monetary penalty against anyone for not having health insurance is outrageous. I could be wrong but I believe this aspect of the ACA was never implemented under President Obama and it was indefinitely suspended or revoked by President Trump. I also feel like I need to address your thoughts about the United States all about war. I believe the American people are like most other people and want peace and civility. The government and major defense contractors have differing opinions at times. Of course there is plenty of people who are war hawks but they are in the minority. Most of us are absolutely sick of war. We currently have been at war for almost 19 years. That's six complete world war 2's in their entirety. \nI think you were being awfully generous when you said obesity is on par with the rest of the world!! Unfortunately there is far to many fat people here and the problem is only getting worse because the media says be happy and proud you are fat. Celebrating obesity is absolutely insane and it sends the wrong message to young people. If a close one is fat of course I love them but I also tell them privately that they are a walking heart attack. It's more than OK to accept someone the way they are but as a friend or family member you doing them a disservice by not mentioning their obesity. \nI'm sorry if you feel I'm being to harsh or critical. I think it is a wonderful thing to share the world's longest border with such a great nation as Canada. I have always thought Canada was like the United States fraternal brother or sister. We are very much alike with a few beautiful differences that distinguishes from one another. It doesn't appear that you upload videos hear anymore but I hope you get the opportunity to read this. People think that living in foreign countries us good and relaxing and you enjoy a lot. Well this is not true. I have one of my friends who told me the way he lives and works and studies in Canada. Believe me, you won't like to hear what he told me. He does two part time jobs starting from morning to afternoon at 3 and does another one from 4 to 8 and he barely gets 4 to 5 hours to study. At times when there are exams or tests in the college, he has to skip the work and go to the College but when he skips, he feels from deep inside that for today I don't have even this amount of money and believe me, staying in Canada or any other county is not as easy as eating a plate of rice and on the first time when you go to look for a job, you will get it at McDonald's or any type of restaurants. And the work my friend does is to cut meat at McDonald's in Canada.

I had a recent experience traveling with friends to Friday Harbor in Washington State near Victoria Island. It was a touristy spot in the PNW. There are 4 of us that day - 3 asians and 1 white . My white friend needed to use the restroom so the three of us went to a tourist information center. When we walked in the two white ladies just ignored us didn’t say hi or anything and we were not paying attention at first until my white friend walked in . one lady immediately got up and greeted him. And when she found out that the white guy is friend with the other 3 asians She started to talk to all of us but the entire time she only had eye contact with my white friend. It was kinda weird for me. It was not a bad experience but you noticed the skin color do make a difference in how people treated you in the US.

Well this Canadian is totally fed up with Trudeau and so are a lot of us.. I have a friend who works in one of those hotels.. it is disgusting what they have to clean up.. it's enough to make one throw up..They go in with masks..

I agree with this law. For safety reasons. I have a few muslim women friends including two females family members that are muslim and they dont cover their faces. They also agree with this law. we all have the right to see the face of whom is around us. I also know one woman that is not muslim but dresses and covers her face like one. Why she does that I and my neighbours dont know why. She does not talk to anyone about it and only dresses that way when she goes out of the neighbourhood. What are her intentions to do such thing? She is portuguese does not speak arabic only portuguese and broken inglish. When we ask her why she does that we are told to mind our business. We feel that it is our business because she is very strange and like i said before she only dresses that way when she goes out of the area that she lives in. What is she up too? And like her how many more is out there doing this and why? Whthout any offence to the muslim people SAFETY should come first to everyone.
