It irritates me that Trump attacks canada for fentanyl and illegal immigration when its the other boarder that is the vast majority supplier. Trump has not given a resoanble or justifiable reason for these tarrifs in my mind. Its a shame as some of Trumps ideas and plans I agree with but so far the vast majority of his action has not been. I have been visiting canada frequently for my outings, if I go oit for dinner or entertainment ive been making a 1 hr drive to do so, vs a 45 minute drive to seattle. I will continue to soend every leisure dollar in canada untill this tarrif trade war is corrected.

I'm a canadian who usually agrees with Trump but in this case I feel like this makes no sense. Not sure exactly why Trump is doing all of this but deteriorating relations between us and impacting our economies in such a way makes no sense to me. The stock market is plummeting, jobs on both sides are at risk, prices on both sides of the border will go up. Something I've been thinking about. Trump keeps deporting people back to Canada and Mexico, but he also wants to make Canada a part of America (not sure if he wants to do the same with Mexico). How is he going to keep the people he wants to keep out if they become part of the country? What happens to the border and those people?

These people are saying that they will support and defend these immigrants because this administration is dividing us? You people should be ashamed of yourselves, because if there’s someone really dividing this nation, it’s not the Trump administration; but you guys who choose to go against your own people, in favor of illegal immigrants. Send them all back to Canada and tell Canada, you said your country is so much better than America, so why are these people leaving and try to come to our country?\nAlso ban people from Canada from coming to the U.S who said if Trump won, they will go to Canada.
