Been in Canada almost 20 years as a citizen. Went to university and college. Got a degree and a diploma in economics and accounting but no jobs. Finally became a realtor while working for a property management company who then wanted to fire me for getting licensed instead of using my skills. I've been replaced 4 times by foreigners. I worked at Amazon and the entire huge warehouse of hundreds of people was only East Indians with only me and 3 other white people. I worked at Ballard and the entire production floor could not speak English at a elementary school level and was replaced by a guy from Iran who had never been to Canada and was in the country for 1 month. All the shift mangers were from Iran and my section was only Iranians, East Indians and Chinese. I was the top production worker by far doing the work of 4 other workers proven by the actual numbers in an attempt to keep my job but still got removed of course to make way for more Iranians because it was obviously a way to bring their people here. Zero locals were in the entire production floor. I can not have the dignity to own my own home and never will be able to even though I grew up here went to collage and university and worked hard. FBI, DEA, etc. There is NO way of deporting 11,000,000 people. It takes 4-6 law enforcement officers to make 1 regular felony arrest, more if there is more danger (i.e. SWAT, etc.). One would have to ask every single officer from local to Federal to essentially arrest and deport 12-13 people EACH - and stop doing all other law enforcement work to do that. I have a house behind me that was defunct and the owner purchased it about 4 years prior with an intent of demolishing it and building a new home. It is only now - 4 years later - that they are finally allowed to build, since the city and other people around stopped them through permitting applications countless times. The only thing I had to say about it was that if the construction causes direct damage to my property - then pay for it; if not, then I should have no say in this at all.

I knew an undocumented young woman who was living with her 1 yr old baby and her undocumented husband in NC. He started beating her up really badly so she called the cops. The cops arrested them both, even though he was the clear aggressor. They sent the baby off to cps and cps sent the child back to her extended family in Mexico. She spent 3 years in the county jail, never having access to proper medical care, fresh air & greenery or money for commissary or phone minutes. She was still in the early stages of learning English so she was unable to properly advocate for herself before she made bilingual friends and she couldn’t even read the English books in the county jail. Last I heard, she had finally been transported to a huge ICE detention facility in Georgia, but her case was still in limbo and she still had not seen her daughter 4 years later?\n\nShe was such a sweet young woman and what happened to her was so cruel, inhumane and totally undeserved. People who advocate for mass deportation are asking for millions of more stories just like hers, but with even more violence, since Trump would have to use storm troopers to do raids and papers checks so they can kidnap the 20 million people they want to deport.
