We must make local products for our population, this will create jobs locally and boost our economy. American made cars will be a lot more expensive in Canada, at a time where american cars are already ridiculously expensive. GM, Stellantis, Ford, they all have assembly lines in Ontario, but parts will be imported and will be more expensive. Canadians will probably buy Japanese or Chinese cars.
