It has to stop or there will be civil war and chaos. Yeah it´s nice to be compassionate\nbut you have to be able to afford it. And when you can´t find affordable housing, the\ngroceries get more expensive every week and your society is overburdened with the\nfinancial and societal costs of immigration (welfare, social housing, overtaxed schools\nand hospitals not to mention crime) it will break the system.

I like multiculturalism and this country is founded on immigration. But we need to put cap on each country when receiving them so to maintain the balance of good mix.\n\nI get bothered why this guy statistically divide white vs others. We used to live near Trinity bellwood and the park is now filled with used needles. \n\nAs for homelessness, it's always been there and it got worse during economic depression (2008 mortgage crisis) and current prime rate/inflation situation. Even if you study stats from government subsidized housing, most immigrants work and get out of help but the old immigrants (whites) usually don't flip out of the situation for generations. So there is no reason to tie and blame the Indians for our old problem of homeless population. Stay on point and stop tying it down with non-related issues.

If you travel through Indian villages mainly in Punjab, Mumbai, Delhi and Southern states every KM you will see study/immigrate to Canada. They will tell you it is very easy as you need to spend only INR2.0Million( CAD 35K) to get there and balance you can work there as part time. Majority of Indians coming to Canada is from low income families who want to become middle class in India . High time Canada regulate its student intake and restrict only to selected universities and courses and stop allowing part time work. High skill immigration is still ok as they are coming based on their merit and point threshold and definitely contributing for Canadas economic growth. Student intake must be controlled .

If Canadians think new govt will solve the problem. They are dead wrong. This is the vicious cycle they can not get out. Their own structure can not support pensions and salaries. My grandparents on my mom's side came over from Scotland after WW2. They bought one of the cheap plots that were available then, but then my grandfather BUILT their house. He was a tradesman (dual carpentry/electrician certified). Lots of that house is still original, with occasionally new paint, and looks new.\n\nFast forward 75 years and we're importing Business Majors and IT specialists to cities that need construction workers and trades people. The houses being built start falling apart before you finalize the paper work. If you DO have the skills and desire to build something yourself, there's a lengthy approval process ahead of you just to get started.\n\nHope you didn't come here with a medical degree, or a specialized certification. That's another long process to be approved to work here. Doesn't matter if you came from rural China or you worked in the US at a major hospital. \n\nLawyers, lobbyists, politicians, and landlords have destroyed the Canadian dream, and we're all sick and tired of it. I have a lot of sympathy for immigrants sold a lie, who come here and end up homeless or worse, but we can't stop what's happening abroad. We can only change what we do here.

Americans scared that their southern border is unsecure while their northern border is thousands of miles longer, unprotected and unmanned. Speaking as a Canadian you all should be scared in the USA. Now that Canada is on the downward trend due to no housing, no jobs, inflation and unsanctioned immigration, I can GUARANTEE that you will get a huge influx of illegal immigrants who hop the border. They get into Canada legally (since we accept anybody without backgroud checks) and once they discover how tough life is here they make a run for the USA. Canada was never their final destination just a pit stop before they head to America. Canada needs some serious help and legislation when it comes to this. Our infrastructure and culture are at a serious risk of being permanently damaged due to this. Our federal election is in October 2025 and even if we get a politcal party change I fear that nothing will ultimately change for the good.

The construction industry has seen an almost 4,000% increase in immingrant workers. Lowering our rates, wages, producing sub par products and making it more dangerous. This idoocracy has to stop! Send all the illegal immigrants back where they came from. Those that want to stay need to apply for legal immigration, must be properly vetted, pledge allegiance to Canada, become Canadian, leaving hatred from their previous country behind, and cannot stay here while they wait. A moratorium on all new applications for at least 10 years. This way the back log of legal immigrants can be dealt with. Stop all new international students, put a moratorium on it for at least 10 years, stop all temporary and permanent workers. All loopholes used to illegally get into the county must be stopped. This will reduce the cost of illegal immigration and solve a large portion of the lack of housing. No more government subsidies to pay for foreign workers. This will open up entry level jobs for young Canadians. No more government subsidies for anything for immigrants. If they need government support then no, you are then disqualified from coming. No more abuse of our Canadian social programs.

People who run out of visa should leave, sure, but it's basic human instinct to try and stick to the better place. Also, if you don't bring value to the country, you will be the first victim of deportation. If you had a valuable skill or strong academic accolades you would not be kicked out, but because you don't, you are getting kicked out, which is more than fair when a country cannot house you without hurting its own population. Two sides to all coins. \nThat said, I see that while the anonymous hate towards immigrants was always there, this atmosphere has changed the humble and polite Canadians into angry ones in open. I think it is government's fault for bringing people here, so we should point our anger correctly. I’m a 68 yr old female Senior (caregiver) living in my car because my only option after a 3 yr wait was BC Housing near the DTES … these are SLUMS that we are supposed to be Thankful for … most of these buildings answer to no one because they get their funding from a number of sources … the STAFF are allowed to treat the Residents anyway they like, with No Conscience… if Canada can’t supply decent housing to their Citizens then they should STOP IMMIGRATION… most new immigrants are treated better financially then the citizens who live here …. The building I lived in is called PENDERA at Pender St. & Beatty Street in Vancouver… it ALL looks good from the outside so people really want to move in …. That’s when the trouble starts … I lived in a RAT INFESTED APARTMENT FOR 6 yrs!!!

Remember refugees and asylum seekers aren't supposed to work until their claims are approved. How many businesses are paying the migrants in cash? It's one thing if the immigration process was well organized and all the immigrates were working and paying taxes. But now the provinces are begging for funding to deal with all the new comers and only Quebec is getting support from the federal government. Most mirgants just come here to try to have a better life but in reality the politicians don't care if they end up on welfare. It's super sad Canadians are dying of drug addictions on the streets and the federal government is still insisting massive immigration is going to keep them in power or solve Canada's failing economy or prop up Canada's pension plan.

Everything is fragile you know. When you allow certain foreigners in a country and teach them to adapt to the culture, they get the best of living in a developed country by following their own personal beliefs. On the other hand, if you allow a huge amount of population at the same time from 3rd world countries, they become the majority, start doing politics, they don't adapt to new things, ultimately they will come up with extreme religious beliefs, their old culture, corruption, greed and can ultimately drag it down to a 2nd world country! Every country has more or less potential, the reason behind being so poor is connected to many reasons but at least 50% is because of corruption, their way of thinking, thus, mass immigration can never be a solution! Developed countries' leaders do not care about any people, they want people to keep their country's position economically high and now distracting the young generation with transgender issues with the name of so-called freedom. Maybe Western people now should start working on their life rather than taking everything for granted, maybe changing gender is not to be proud of or the only way to get attention but rather do something for your country, work, be involved in politics, be aware of life, travel with purpose, stop worshipping celebrities and understand the consequences of life in every step and you can be replaced by anywhere anytime!

They need to stop calling it immigration, it's not. The majority are illegal's, asylum seekers, refugees, people on open work permits or LMIA and international students thinking they can stay permanently. They are causing high taxes, stagnant wages, housing issues, high rime rates, and high taxes. The process of immigration is a long one and it's expensive. You need to prove you have the funds and somewhere to live or work. These people are being lied to to come here, exploited with employment , it's just bad for everyone, all around....except employers. Many don't know they get Government bonuses/Tax rebates etc. for hiring newcomers. Which is why you see more newcomers then Canadians being hired now.

Used to be if you wanted to come to Canada you had to have a certain amount of money! I think that should be the case as well as also educated. Australia had a point system and its very hard to immigrate there, we should have that too. Lets stop dumbing everything down! Immigrants come and they come from 3rd world countries and they then offer their serves at lower standards. I used to house clean, I was a single mom with 3 kids and I made a good living. I lost a few jobs to NANNIES who were hired to take care of kids only and before I knew it they were cleaning the house and I was let go. Now those nannies could have just looked after their kids. They didn't even get more money to clean the house. Screwed me out of work and gave them selves more work without more pay! I see it in the Massage Therapy industry too, they post rates a lot lower than the going rate! Janitor serves, truck driving, all are being dumbed down and lower quality! Franshises all being bought out and having major health issues with food quality...dumbing it down to their country of origin!! Im so sick of it all.

A Pakistani talking about Indian immigration, and listen to this... the biggest blunder he makes is by saying that he is feeling more unsafe in Canada than in Pakistan. Let's not forget the big culprits behind this: the admissions officers of the colleges, who fully endorse these practices to meet their revenue targets by any means possible, all under the watchful eyes of the government and IRCC.\n\nI've witnessed this firsthand. I openly challenge those consultants and Canadian college admission officers to be upfront with prospective and future students and tell them in person, before accepting their applications, that a study permit does not guarantee permanent residency in Canada. Explain the rules behind that and see what happens next—people will stop coming to Canada altogether. Consultants and colleges need to be honest with their prospective students and not just include those important facts in a fine print under a bunch of paperwork. \n\nAnd my god, the programs most colleges sell—useless diplomas that are of no use in their home countries either. Ok i agree with too much immigration, it must get stopped, but canada will so, this ia their main income, fool around about education in canada, i do not see any esucation culture here. \nYes immigration must stop, do not welcome asylum refugee also from other countries. Focus on urself. Canada does not have that capability, canada is dependent on USA, who themself in debt and making money through war. Canada is also contributing in wars, find some reliable partner to grow. \nBUT CANADA IS GOING BACKWARD.

Believe It or Not Canada does have a culture. Of course you would never know this because of what they've done to Canada and deleted our history Immigration is Canada's number one problem. You stop immigration and everything else will balance out. the only people that get hired for jobs now or Indians. that's how you know this country is completely corrupted because you can't even go to school without being taught by an Indian and they won't teach you like they teach the other Indians so you'll never get ahead. From top to bottom left and right India has corrupted Canada I think you should go to the Yukon territories and ask them what they think? Because I know a lot of people there that are in favor of mass immigratio. so maybe we should send all the immigrants to the Yukon

They say no, that is citizens of canada , but the govt. Does not listen, does not want to stop it , even comes against stoping imimgration . IT IS TO HIGH , GO BACK FROM WERE YOU CAME FROM .\nThe country in my area is full of those ,expecially from India .
