I would very much like the muslims to tell us real Canadians what contributions that they are making to our country as a whole. How are they making life in Canada better? How are they bringing stability and growth to our country? They spend time teaching their silly little book to the people in their flock but nothing about Canada, our values, our hopes and aspirations for the country. The silly little book does nothing to further the common good of Canada. It only forwards the wants of the muslim community.\nAnd finally, religion is the bane of intellectual thought. No one and I mean no one, can know about the mind of a god that does not exist.

People, remember that female children in the muslim world are not only abused physically but they are also abused mentally, from the cradle on they are brain washed to be intimidated by the bad things that will happen to them. Muslims, wake up, just try for once not to follow the book, do not follow the Imam, do not follow what the men in your family, what can happen? NOTHING! muslims and non muslims will end up 6 feet under like everybody else, No Allah, No Mohammad, Nothing. Muslims follow witchcraft, muslims may as well believe in Santa Claus, the 3 wise men, and all the witchcraft they like. One day they will realise that if they are running away from misery, they should stop bringing their misery to countries that now are a paradise to them. Muslims are either crazy, stupid or both

Something the media is afraid to say out loud...Women who wear the burka do so because they are married to Muslims who support Sharia Law ( Look it up ) and women are nothing but sex slaves to these men.

People real Islam is not a religion of peace! Read the Koran and you will see! It's true that most Muslims are peaceful,but most Muslims like Christians follow the traditions of their Mosque or Church but do not follow the full letter of the Koran or Bible. True Koran believing Muslims who follow the full letter of the word of the Koran are violent and are not tolerant of other religions. they are a threat to any civilized society! Wake up people this radical evil religion will do nothing but cause pain and suffering to any country who tolerates it! Christianity is a religion of love and peace,a religion who's member are full of a holy,righteous spirit and compassion for their fellow man. A religion that is freely given and freely received and a religion to never be forced on another human being! We as a civilized people must never bow down to evil, even if our evil government try to force us to . We must all stay true and firm to our God and our brothers in Christ no matter what the cost! Peace and love to all!

so pro women is wearing nothing?????? i am roman catholic and when i go to mass, i wear a veil. and remember it wasnt that long ago that women, no matter where, had to wear long dresses. and what do canadians think of nuns wearing their habits? should nuns ( and some here in italy, dress almost like muslims) change because of stupid, uneducated prejudice people?

I understand the Islam Religion I read the Quran , Mohammad was a Nut case nothing more .I see Muslims asking for more than the people of Canada gets they want the government to fund Islamic centers and schools while the government does not do this for any other religion . The Alberta government built am Islamic center in Edmonton but will not give any other religion a friend ship center . I rather if no more of them comes here .

Question for Christians does Mary the mother of jesus was wearing hijab which is covering her self? I'd just read many of the comments on here and wtf are you people smokin'? Whatever it is, you got some bad stash. Time to face reality. We are all human. We all have religions or spirituality. We may be different, but we are still intrinsically cut from the same block. So cut the paranoid crapola. Live together in peace as God instructed ALL of you to do. Don't buy into Government propagated paranoia over any one set of people. Here in America, it was anti native American, then anti black, then Anti Irish, now that those two groups are accepted it's anti-muslim. Meanwhile the native Americans are still Native Americans, the black people are still black and the Irish are still Irish and nothing has changed but public attitude. Don't let the media tell you what to think. Don't be afraid of what you don't understand. Educate yourself on what is real. What is Islam. Who are Arabs. And for God's sake stop being SHEEPLE!

There's nothing wrong with being afraid. They can't force themselves to not be afraid of Muslims. There's a great video showing the percentage of radical Muslims. It's 60 percent. So it's not a minor it's a majority. But that doesn't make them all radical, someone I know is Muslim and they are very nice and peaceful to their people.

They do NOTHING to stop the growing threat of islamic terrorism, then they WONDER why we dont like or trust them!\n\nREPORT your fellow muslims who are planning attacks or planning to join ISIS. And dont wait until the attack is over, to see how many infidels they kill!!!!!!!

Tolerance is not a one way street. Canadians (and other westerners) should wake up and realize that, and also form a basic understanding about the evils of islam, that muslims stand for.\nMany douchebags and pseudo-liberals of the Ben Affleck kind, will go to great lengths to defend islam and muslims while knowing absolutely nothing about that religion or its followers, with the only purpose being to selfishly display how PC they are. A true liberal person will value their acquired freedoms and privileges, and not be tolerant of the intolerant. Furthermore, real leaders should not be afraid to bring these points up, backing them up with hard evidence (not just hear-say or opinions), for the purpose of protecting civilised society: so that muslims and non-muslims all can understand why islam is incompatible with western civilisation. If muslims are offended by any of that, then that offence is brought on by themselves. PC has no place here.\n\nHere are some reasons why islam is incompatible with civilised society:\n1. Muslims consider the quran to be the perfect book and their prophet to be the perfect man, who's behaviour is to be aspired to, so perfect that any imagery of him does him great injustice and is forbidden. Other than being plain stupid, this in itself doesn't affect civilised society much (except free speech when drawing cartoons), but this does becomes a critical point in combination with the next points:\n2. A perfect man does not marry a 6 year old girl and then f*ck her when she's 9. But that's what their perfect prophet did and they know it, often justifying it as being in a different time. Well no time ever has been ok for a 50+ year old man to f*ck a 9 year old. \n3. In this religion that muslims consider perfect, apostasy is to be punished by death (quran 4:89). This combined with the fact that muslims consider their religious doctrines more important than man-made (western) law is something that makes them incompatible with civilised society. Of course they benefit from the civilised society, but not vice versa. \n4. Then there are the many verses in the quran that order muslims to fight non-muslims (and specifically jews), order death for adultery and homosexual behaviour, etc. Just search and you'll find as there are way too many to list here. Islam is an extremely controlling religion, it intervenes in everything aspect of human life, even as far as with which hand is to be used for eating and which for wiping off after taking a dump. It also declares itself to be the only true and last religion leaving no space for other religions or atheism. This is what makes it such a totalitarian and fascist religion.\n\nMuslims won't deny these points I listed, but they often will try to evade addressing them. \nToo keep a long story short: if you are really a tolerant/liberal person, then you stand your ground and stand for civilised principles, and don't tolerate or defend islam like some traitorous PC pseudo-liberal Ben Aslick sort of character.

niqab, hijab, burqa, and other clothes are not necessery, where Quran say to wear it ? this is resentiment from medieval pre- medieval and even pre-islam time, it is tradition not being better muslim, muslims connect this wearing with religion but it's mistake it has nothing common, it's like Scots in kilts as everyday outfit. It sensless. Probably this clothes were made to protect women from middle-east sun, long before Mahomet, in Cananda sun is weak so ..

What about the terrorism that Christians are involved in?  The sexual abuse of children that still goes on today.  People have to remember not only were Pope John Paul and Pope Benedict were aware of the sexual abuse the perverted priests and bishops engage in,  but Pope Benedict went out of his way to move and protect the pedophile priests.  The Catholic church has spent millions on lawyers to prevent having to pay out the victims of sexual abuse.  The catholic church also has in its possessions stolen art works and valuables stolen by the Nazis during the war.  They have not handed them back to their rightful owners.  And to add insult to injury the Catholic church enjoys tax exemption status and protection in Canada while the victims of the church do not have access to services to help them rebuild their lives due to the effects they still suffer as a result of this abuse.  \n\nAn example of the further victimization sexual abuse victims of the Catholic cult have been exposed to is the practice of Crimen sollicitationis  Crimen sollicitationis states that if a person speaks out about their sexual abuse experiences within this cult they can be ex-communicated from the church.  \n\nAs a white man who is an ex catholic and who also had sexual abuse from this church it is my belief that many young children who were sexually and spiritually abused by the Catholic cult did not come forward because of shame and did not want to have to be exposed to this kind of re victimization by the Catholic cult again. \n\nI believe it is because a lot of Muslim people are people of colour that they are persecuted in Canada.  The real terrorist in Canada is not only the Catholic church but a spokesman for them the Crime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper and the Conservative Party of Canada.  The are terrorists who rig elections, and their party is rife with criminal and illegal activity and are a threat to democracy.  That is why everyone should be protesting their anti terrorist bill they are ramming down the throats of Canadians Bill C-51  \n\nIf you have nothing intelligent to say and believe being a conservative makes you exempt from the laws of Canada, and you are set in dismantling democracy, the Conservative Party of Canada wants you.

Nothing quite like learning a lesson the hard way. I've noticed in Britain that a politically moderate conservative belief is emerging. Britain has been subjected to the two extremes of the aristocracy and leftists leaving the majority of Brits terrible abused and neglected. I'm Muslim myself but I'm fed-up with those people's who are trying to force Islamic law in other countries there's no doubt about it Islam is a beautiful religion but first they should learn about Islam and make Islamic countries example and show the world about Islamic beauty. It is a serious problem, it has nothing to do with what you say. But yes Islamic streetss, i.e. streets where there is a mosque on it, just in Muslim areas. The solution is to enforce sharia law, we will see crime rates FALL. And we will no longer be a disrespectful nation!!!!\n\nPeace

The 'Golden Age' of Islam was nothing more than battle after bloody battle as Islam swept across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, massacring, raping, forcibly converting and enslaving.
