What’s wrong with them, can’t they be aggressive with their own government. They would probably get a better outcome than what they’re doing now. \nWhy can’t they stand up and do this to their on country instead of over populating our country. They need to fix their on country. We are tired of being second in our on country. We have people right now especially our Veterans that are on the streets as I am typing this that desperately need help. So I am sorry if I don’t feel anything for you guys. You all want your cake and eat it to. You people want a free ride and that train has left already.

Biden and Kamala would have allowed them in so YOUR tax $$$ could pay for them to stay in nice hotels, get medical and food - more for these illegals and less for our own disabled veterans, senior citizens and handicapped citizens.

I blame all this on the Biden administration who PURPOSELY allowed masses of people from ALL OVER THE WORLD to enter this country illegally in the thousands per day with NO PLAN causing more economic hardship on already economically struggling Americans who many were forced to become homeless, loose their vehicles, loose their job, unable to pay rent or get assistance, and much more and when Americans discovered that people illegally entering the country were being given a \nSpecial debit card in the thousands $$$\nWere being given 2 yrs free rent\nWere being put ahead of those that were legally trying to get a green card after already waiting yrs to get in\nWere being given food stamps and other forms of help $$$$\nWere being given a FREE VEHICLE\nwere placed in jobs along with the federal monies \nWas something painfully and became wrongfully able for suffering Americans and Veterans to accept and voted for TRUMP!\nWhy? On every corner is a homeless Citizen or a Veteran sleeping on the sidewalk unable to get any sort of assistance, housing is scarce and rent is high, while many working Americans can barely afford to put food on the table, keep the lights on and pay rent?? \nThis is NOT ok. We need to ramp up the border security. What makes them think they can avoid deportation long term?? What makes them think they deserve assistance while our own people are suffering and dying on the streets? Why should we care about immigrants when we can't help our own people??! Make it make sense!! I didn't agree to give illegals a free ride while working my a$$ off while the threat of homelessness or extreme poverty hanging over my head every effing day!!!

As a veteran myself, I see no reason why any such lifestyle would hinder them or others from serving in the military if they so chose.

I am a 24 year veteran of the Air Force and I fully support two genders keeping trans people out of the military for the same reason people with certain pre-existing conditions can't enlist.

I think everybody is missing a point here if you went in and you had already transitioned.I don't think there should be any problem with serving your country as I am a former veteran. I think what they are saying is that transitioning while you are in the service and taking time away from being readily available for a chosen procedure, it is not military readiness. How is this difficult to understand?

As a combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, multiple times, I completely agree with the president’s anti-trans policy in the military. Soldiers have a hard enough job as it is much less stacking on some DEI nonsense. That’s only gonna take time away from their training and ultimately DEI is going to 100% negatively affect the mission and their safety. Of personally over a 10 year period served with a couple gay and lesbian Service members and never once was what they did in the privacy of their own bedroom ever an issue or counter to the mission but this new age woke DEI nonsense is completely counterproductive, dangerous, And disrespectful to the non-DEI service members. The simple act of picking an unqualified, military leader, who’s responsible for the care and lives solely on the gender, ethnicity, religion, or pronoun, and not on merit, experience, competency, or any of the other real requirements for a military leader is literally the most irresponsible, dangerous, and disrespectful thing you can do to the men and women who have literally dedicated their life for years in service of our country! There’s absolutely no excuse on this planet that would make it ok. Being a service member in combat is already the most stressful job on the planet, but to make them take their focus off of the immediate threat to focus on political correctness or someone’s magical mystery pronoun while trying to prioritize and mitigate threats and combat is the most asinine and literally dangerous Nonsense I’ve ever heard!??????

I hate Trump and everything he stands for but transgenders serving openly are contrary to the principle of good order and discipline. No matter what people think transgenders are not respected by their subordinates and there has to be respect to be an effective leader. In this man's case he flies as a crew of 1 and possibly 2 so he doesn't require respect from his subordinates but a frontline combat officer leading a company would get zero respect and would probably get fragged. The standards have to be the same across all branches and all jobs and that's not possible. The military is mostly populated with southern and mid western men and they will never accept this so as a veteran I support this move to ban them. I would also like to see the standards restored in regards to fat heterosexuals too. There's nothing that says lack of discipline like a fat soldier whose buttons on his BDU shirt are about to pop and they can't see their toes.

the fact is that those who transition have to take hormonal treatments for the rest of their life. regardless of the qualities someone who is trans may have placing them in military units create problems. in addition there is the fact that transitioning may have other long term health effects that would raise the cost of medical benefits for our soldiers and veterans. this is not the simple issue of discrimination based on sexual identity that CNN wants to portray it as. whether we have a tax based economy or a tariff economy in the future up until now it is the American taxpayer that has had to fund military expenses including health care for our soldiers and veterans.

It seems to me all the resistance and cruelty to transgender people comes from a lack of grit and ability to see and acknowledge difference. It's not strength to reject difference, it's weakness. The media just can’t help itself…it has to lie…using a 10 year old survey by UCLA for the “15,000 transgenders” number when a more recent study done in 2021 shows only 1900 individuals received any care related to being transgender through the DOD and a January 2024 estimate by the RAND Corporation estimated 1320 to 6630 transgenders serving. And the overwhelming Amorite are support roles, not combat or front line. And yes, I’m a veteran.

I mean I have mixed feelings about the trans movement. But here is how I feel about this subject and always have. There needs to be one standard. It needs to be the highest standard in the world. and if any man, women, or trans person can't hack it then they do not serve. If they can hold up to the standards they should serve. I am a veteran that serve with a group of people in the Navy that demanded the highest standards. I would serve with man, woman, or trans person that can pull their weight. It is their country. Let them serve if they wish.

My wife is a immigrant. We had been married 2 years before I was finally able to get her here with me. Even with being a veteran it didn't give us no entitlement with the legal immigration policy. I had to prove that I could financially support us. This was during Trumps last term & she is still waiting to be awarded citizenship. I have no pity for these illegal immigrants. They shouldn't b awarded no special treatment. Get in line with the rest of us legal immigrants.

Finally, we have a safe border. We need to help American citizens first, especially military veterans, who are natural born citizens from day one. Repair America's infrastructure beginning with its actual citizens.

I’ve been waiting for my husbands marriage visa for 14 months freezing the legal visa processes for Colombians who are married to a U.S. disabled veteran citizen born and raised in the Midwest is wrong. I pray the President restarts processing legal visas for this married to U.S. citizens \nI am not able to walk well and my only caregiver is my husband so I’m stuck in colombia until my husbands visa is approved. Most people here hate President Petro he has ruined the country and now he is ruining it more we can’t speak out against him but my husband and his family do not support the President of colombia and a ton don’t believe he actually won the election. Colombia has always been a close ally I hope the CIA and Delta Force can fix things in Colombia returning to Uribe and strong U.S. allies. Other countries aren’t U.S. friend but Colombians love the U.S. and please don’t punish the people for the actions of a terrible president who ruined the economy here and is only got 1 year left in office maybe the U.S. intel system and military can “handle” the problem of a president who doesn’t have the support of the people. My question is.. why we do not take care of our homeless people, our veterans, the drug issue, mental health in our country and we let the other countries resolve their issues.
