It’s crazy the way people forget that Canada doesn’t end at the end of Quebec. I hate to break it to you, but there are still affordable places to live in this country, They’re just mostly not in the urban centres of Ontario, Quebec, BC or Alberta. If you actually choose to acknowledge the existence of the other six provinces, you can have a pretty good life in this country! with that being said, I also have a good friend who’s making $100k a year fresh out of university in downtown Calgary. Everyone saying salaries are too low, there are no opportunities in this country, I’m curious to know what opportunities we’ve actually lost? Just because they aren’t being afforded to you doesn’t mean they don’t exist, maybe this should spur some self-reflection. You do have to work hard to succeed after all! \n\nLife is hard, always has been. If you actually talk to your parents instead of trusting what others on the internet say, who also weren’t alive during that time, you might realize that things really aren’t that different now. Despite what the internet will tell you, a minimum wage job was not enough to afford a house and a car 40 years ago. Shockingly, a minimum wage job doesn’t pay enough to get you a house and a car now either! Crazy how that works

I lived in Brampton. Right in Eldorado Park. I'm a white guy. All temp agencies were run by these people. I go in for a job. Soon as they seen i was white. They had no jobs available. Got a guy i knew who was Indian. He called right after me. They had plenty of work. \nBrampton also has the highest insurance rate in Ontario. Because of insurance fraud. All these people. When i was young 30 years ago. I went to visit. It was a nice place. No more now. Its the worst place in Ontario.

There are ten million Filipinos in BC alone according to Stats Canada, more than this amount of Chinese and the latter group brought drug money into Canada buying real estates and increasing the price. I don't agree that North American cities are all ugly just like not all European cities are all that beautiful. Go to Rome, Naples Athens and you will see how dirty and run down these cities are. And no Vancouver is not nicer than Chicago.\n\n I think the mindset here in Canada especially Ontario is not the best. Everyone is all about going to work and just isolating. In Europe it's much more vibrant. People want to go out and socialize a lot more. Here it's basically work and home. Not much else.\n\n If things were good here economically all these points would take a back seat and most people would tolerate them. But when rent is $2000 plus. Wages are barely going up etc..etc..than everything else starts to grate on you.

There's too many conflicting narratives. One says we're 40m people. Another says we've had net loss of 40k-70k people ever since the 1980s. StatCan might've been tracking the inflow of immigrants but not the outflow. Mexicans have been found frozen to death in the southern woods of Ontario. They number in the hundreds of not thousands. As a Canadian, my wife (newly married) is an engineer and really would make more $ in the USA. That said there are a lot of benefits of living here in Ontario. I think if housing, job market was a bit better (and of course weather) - it's much better. People are great although like any country there should be a better process for immigrants because it's causing problems, even for the new people coming to the country who can't find/afford living and work

Well Indias are everywhere in this country it’s a joke. They’re taking over PEI I’m telling you. They own most of the business in PEI. Their up northern Ontario they own all the gas bars. Indians leaving India in droves due to better opportunities for them, as well, the high amount of corruption with their government at all levels. This is directly from the co-workers I work with. Canada immigration is letting far too many people who shouldn’t be allowed here. Many of my Indian friends will vouch this as well. They all left Brampton to pursue other cities across Ontario. They agree, many undesirables back in India have come to our shores, with money laundering and crime. Canada literally needs an army of people to start deporting those who have lied on their documentation, add little value to our economy or country.

Timmins Ontario has skyrocketed with India hardly any jobs or places to live . A lot of homeless now. Plus sis has created a zombie effect. I moved from Brampton in 2007 to Timmins and it was all white people. Now I feel I’m out of place.

I'm all for immigration to help a country grow however, what Canada has done is first, bring in too many at once and not INTEGRATED the new comers. \n\nFact is, if you want to go to a country because of their freedom and job opportunity then don't come and try to change the country into what you just fled from!!\n\nAnd this is what has happened. In my city (Windsor, Ontario) we have a college and university that have literally set up “recruitment” centres IN INDIA. I don’t blame the foreigners for coming here, they do it legally and honestly a bunch that I have talked to are struggling themselves.. I’m talking like, 12 guys to a small shared living space (which also negatively effects rent prices.. especially where I live) They expect to come here for a better life but they’re just thrown in the mix with those of us who are already drowning. \n\nThe government just stopped caring about its citizens and it’s really scary. They take the immigrants money and our taxes and they’re content.\nA friend was asked to leave a job fair because it was over capacity.. getting even a minimum wage job is damn near impossible now. \n\nAlso, question, I heard the reason that all minimum wage jobs (fast food restaurants, Walmart etc.) are only hiring Indians is because the government reimburses the employer half of their wage. I tried to do some research on this but couldn’t find anything.. is this true and being kept hush-hush? If it is, we need more people to speak out on this.

Do you plan to do more videos like this? Here is some suggestions: how there are too many hong kongers in Markham? Or too many Germans in Kitchener? Pakistani in Milton? Italians in Vaughan? French Canadians across the French river in northern Ontario? Why are white people the pedestal for a city? Also they all behave and not do any bad things in the community? I live in Ontario Canada in an area a lot of these immigrants have come to because of the colleges and our ERs are so overwhelmed I was brought by Ambulance after a car accident, I never got a bed, was treated in a waiting area, it was 4hrs before a dr saw me, 5hrs before I got any pain medication and almost 8hrs before I got cleared to go home with a broken piece of spine. There were more people there who were obvious immigrants than Canadian born people and all of us are suffering.

Lifetime Canadian here; housing crisis for sure, but what`s even more insidious is many entry level jobs such as fast food industry, production workers in factories, and even culturally significant cornerstones such as Canadian Tires are being owned and operated by East Indians, going so far as to play Indian music over their loudspeakers for us Canadians (both at a McDonald`s and at a Canadian Tire). It`s obnoxious and border lining on reverse racism; because trust me, these people will drive out all the nationals, and replace them with their own temporary workers, whom they have much more control over, and are likely infringing on human rights concerns (taking passports, multiple human occupancy housing), it`s a mess here. This is not a Toronto problem, an Ontario problem or a Canadian problem, it's the entire western world and it comes down to one simple reality: the concentration of immense wealth in the hands of but a very few. Until wealth is distributed fairly and that normal working people can afford to house themselves, buy groceries and still have some disposable income, the problems portrayed here will only intensify.

There are too many people coming into the country. Especially Ontario, they need to go to the arctic maritimes and out west.

I came in Windsor Ontario as a foreign worker in 2009, wasn't the best time to look for a job there but still. I did 1 year of studying, worked again, left for Alberta in 2012 where I still am. Got my PR in 2014 and citizenship in 2022. Most of the things I hear against living in Canada must be true, I don't doubt it but I'm just not aware of them. I didn't even know there was a bank account freezing during COVID. It wasn't easy to get a good job, I had to leave for a small community in Alberta to get the most of what I wanted and that's why I am oblivious to the harsher reality that people have to endure in Toronto or Vancouver. But the thing is, as soon as I landed in Toronto and got robbed 50$ by some guy (this is just an anecdote not the real reason), I knew I shouldn't try to make a living there. I know job opportunities are in those big cities but please, if you can, there are great communities that need people, workers, consumers and families. If you can land a job there, move! At least try. It doesn't even have to be that far up north, nor to be a mini small village. Small city, rural living, no criminality, cheap housing, lots of space, family friendly, no traffic, no wait time to see a doctor, friendly people, douchebags, we have it here. Are they drawbacks? Yes of course. Need to drive 1 or 2 hour to get a scan or an MRI, car dependance is exacerbated but hey, it feels like a free country where no one have been overpriced...yet.

Until 2020 (pandemic), most lifelong Canadians would have proudly & quickly said Canada is a great place. For multiple generations (young & old). It still is in many ways. But like all countries, a bunch of things have made life more difficult lately. \n \nDuring the COVID lockdowns, many people went wild wanting to buy a house (urban & rural). Increasing demand and rising prices. Not long after, inflation caused mortgage rates especially to rise. Rent costs soared too. People interested in working in hospitals declined. Less doctors etc.. \n \nSimultaneously in Canada, the number of people coming by air, land and boat to claim asylum skyrocketed. For example, in 2023 alone, in just one region (Central Canada) around 400 people arrived per day (on average). Ditto for other populated provinces. Also the number of international students SKYROCKETED too. In 2023, averaging around 2,000 per day across Canada. Years 2021 and 2022 had high #s too. \n \nThe majority trying to migrate to Canada recently have been from South Asia. And it's become extremely obvious to Canadians. Even those that are very used to much diversity & many cultures. Plus neighborhoods now know that international students are using schooling as a 'back door' ticket to come to Canada for permanent residency. No one says it in public amongst strangers, but everyone knows because they've witnessed the extreme PR frenzy firsthand by now. To many Canadians it has felt like a tidal wave that has reached all cities and small towns, with a post secondary school. This extreme situation never existed prior to 4 years ago.\n \nHospitals have been hit with many wanting free healthcare. Less doctors/nurses etc., means greater waiting times. Plus a VERY SEVERE HOUSING CRISIS has occurred in many western countries including in Canada. In ways not seen in people's lifetimes. And if you do find a place to live its quite expensive. Including small basement rooms. \n \nNow westerners want the money greedy agents (pseudo smugglers) in other countries to stop marketing & LYING to their own people about access to PR or citizenship … or accommodation/jobs … being easy (to get). And for any greedy people living in western countries to be ashamed of themselves if they're hurting students. Anyone doing things to make $ off of people's PR desires. At best, there is a 25% chance of gaining PR (better odds if you are masters/medicine etc.). \n \nNot all players across the board have acted honestly over the years, i.e. contract marriages (IELTS spouse), anchor babies, fraud, false asylum claims. Canada has asked the India government to prevent “ghost consulting”. The new PRIVATE (non-public) colleges are being investigated (including looking for strong oversea ties). \n \nCanadians are meeting students who told Canada they have enough $, but it turns out they borrowed it (some borrowed it for the application process only). Canadian food banks and other CHARITY services have been recklessly advertised on YouTube (by India students in Indian language). Many transit services have launched stricter rules, i.e. lost monthly bus passes registered in your name are now never replaced (unlike before). \n \nThen this year throw in all the Palestinian vs Israeli angry protests happening regularly in cities. Plus the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortion mostly happening in Ontario and British Columbia. Plus the Canadian government also recently launched investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections. All stemming from Asia continent. Hate crimes have gone from rare to occasional (primarily South Asians against South Asians). \n \nCanadians are so so so so so not used to all this. So many, who have embraced multi-culturalism and immigration for decades are now VERY worried and fearful (due to all of the above). And all are praying it doesn't turn into great anger (like in the USA). \n \nCanadians want multi-culturism to succeed … and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Everyone I know is VERY happy with Canada Immigration's recent changes (reductions & investigations). Including multi-generational long-term Asian-Canadians where many have been the most upset (by all of this).

I feel like the homeless capital of Canada would be London, Ontario more than Toronto.. 99.9% of London's population are homeless people and meth heads...

Here in Moncton New Brunswick its been getting bad over the past few years with homeless camps, yet they are building huge apartment buildings on every possible place they can find space but those are all going to all the immigrants and people moving out here from Quebec and Ontario. I'm a school bus driver and just on Monday while driving my students, there was a group of homeless trying to resuscitate a guy on the sidewalk who looked completely dead with a purple face and this happened maybe 50ft from a local foodbank. They all walk like they are zombified and bent/knelt over. Thanks to woke mayor's and their sanctuary cities we are seeing this crap and to Trudeaus and his Liberal governments immigration policies.

Many of us Canadians who are born and raised here have been living here for generations. Our grandparents and great parents immigrated here and helped build this country. Many of us are hard working people and have no problems with immigrants that move here to WORK, go to school get an education become a productive member of society, make a good life for themselves. The immigrants that come here expecting a hand out, expect Canadian laws and Canadians to occomidate them. To expect our laws to change to accommodate them, well that won't happen here. Many of us are hard working blue collar people especially in the Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Northern Ontario. Most of us won't put up with bullshit. This isn't being is racist or predjiced it's called show some respect.

Per capita windsor ontario has the most homeless people in Ontario, not Toronto

I live in a small town in Ontario Canada about an hour North of Toronto in the last 5 years I can't even recognize the place with all the foreigners And these people are so rude throw their garbage all over the place the crime is up tenfold. It's become a nightmare here not just for young people but everyone looking for work. These huge line-ups are not even new. For those who remember when Target opened stores here in Ontario and the massive line-ups for those minimum wage part-time jobs! It was insane. This has been going on for over a decade now. But it's even worse than people realize. They neglect to mention that female students at places like U of T turn to prostitution to survive. Not just a few, a significant percentage! There are entire websites devoted to students looking to prostitute themselves to pay rent and tuition! Wake up people! If government wants to get rich off of people, get our pay higher, don't just shovel more into the fire.

Going to coalert, trying to find part-time work was told and I quote you do not fit the criteria of the people we have been directed to hire ethnic background, I find this completely disgusting and the liberal government needs to be held accountable. People from all over Canada are moving to Alberta , Calgary in particular. The cost of living is less than Ontario, Quebec and BC. The proximity to the mountains is great. Calgary is a beautiful city with great neighborhood’s and parks. The technology sector is attracting a large number of companys to Calgary because of the reasons above but also because the work force is one of the youngest and most educated,mainly because of the training for the oil and gas sector. Being just over an hour from one of the most beautiful national parks in the world doesn’t hurt. Banff National park. Also with access to many summer vacation spots in south and central BC. All these things make Calgary a great place to live. Alberta also has many other cities and towns worth checking out. With a competent and caring provincial leader in Danielle Smith, Alberta’s future is looking bright.

Maybe if our own prime minister didn't flood the country with millions more people who got payed to come here and given free schooling while Ontario was already in trillions of debt then allow them to use most of the beaches around the country as waste disposal and a porta potty... and don't dare try to argue me its a culture thing go do your animalistic BS in your own country don't come destroy mine, The worlds largest freshwater beach on the planet Wasaga Beach, Collingwood's harbour and sunset memorial have turned to wasteland and the smell is horrid, it has been polluted and destroyed due to the immigrants doing the same thing that destroyed there country here and its despicable....It hurts knowing that I could never bring my child to the beach anymore because I've had friends tell me there children has dug up human feces trying to make a sand castle.....We are on the brink of WWIII and our own prime minister wants to laugh at our struggles and help the same people destroying, taking and pushing us from our home, I wonder what's going to happen when the outside forces realize they don't even need to fight us to win we are at a point where we would just give up the country there's no reason to fight for it anymore there's no such thing as Country pride hell Trudeau changed the anthem to be more inclusive what kind of power does that present :/

We don't live in Canada anymore. Here in Ontario, I feel like a minority and living in India. I'm honestly hating this country lately. I'm not being racist only stating the truth. I've never met such rude ignorant people like people from India. They think their ? no stink.

I will tell you all something funny, Canada made me a citizen in just two weeks. This happened in Sept of 1987, and it was done via the Canadian citizenship centre in Mississauga Ontario. I had an interview with the judge, who was from Pakistan (that is not a lie), then I was sworn in as a Canadian citizen in the chamber and a government employee as a witness. This is a true story, and how things are done in Canada. Well....for white people like me at least. ?

I worked in the mines of Northern Ontario have had two wives and six children payed high child support and spousal support. But just before I was ready to retire I had no more responsibilities and I got to keep my pension. I brought a house twenty years ago in Newfoundland where I am from and put it in my Mother's name. I am now retired with a payed for home which I heat with a wood cook stove, electric base boards but never need them and have solar panels and wind turbines but I am still hooked up to the grid but my bill is 40 dollars.I don't have internet or Netflix only a cell phone with a 100 gigabytes download.I run my tv off solar power that charges golf cart batteries also have a generator to charge the battery bank .I download off of YouTube and other places to a 1 terabyte hard drive that run thru my laptop and have that backuped . I have a ham radio. 250 gallon water tank just in case the village I live in the water goes out. I have a water flush toilet and a compost toilet. My property has apple trees and very productive raised beds to grow food, I also fish and hunt small game but I buy beef and pork that is free range and grass fed from a local butcher. There are many ATV trails around here, we have a gas station and small grocery store which I try to buy as much as possible from to support local employment. I have a side by side ATV with a nice back box , insurance and gas cost nothing. I used to have a truck but got rid of it because I didn't need it to get around plus I enjoy the ride in the side by side. The only draw back is to many people drink and drive around here and young people on drugs who steal.. I have pension and benefits and traveled for five years before I came back here. I get restless for excitement but remember it's a time to be quiet. Don't crave others company and I am pretty healthy, the only stress I have is to figure out what I am going to do that day. Yes I have to work to get wood and grow food but I could sit on my ass all day if I felt like it but you got to keep yourself in shape. I watch a lot documentaries and read e books but have my favorite books in paper. It does get boring but boring is good and you must be happy with what you got and no I don't need a partner remember I was married twice and everything was about what they wanted and not me.. I have gotten used to not answering to anyone or having to meet their needs and wants.. yes I am happy and don't have to struggle
