In my opinion, no regrets whatsoever if you do it for the children. Especially in a place like Canada where life is safer than the US. Also, l will choose Canadian education for my kids any day over Nigerian education. These types of families make sure to immerse their kids in both cultures, so as not to be strangers in their native land. They take the children back home for visits once a year, or once every two years. Once kids are grown, graduated and working, most often than not, these Nigerian immigrant parents go back to Nigeria to settle down.\nI mean, what's not to like?

Like you, I recently returned to Canada from living in Asia for years. I moved back to Vancouver, and the changes here were immense as well. Basically, the exact same issues Toronto is facing; unbelievably high prices, frayed social fabric, homelessness, crime. I had some pretty severe reverse culture shock coming from Seoul where you'd see none of this (Korea has its own unique issues though).\nI've decided to stick it out as my wife and I can make it work for now, but wouldn't recommend young Canadians, international students, TFWs or anyone who's trying to get a start on their professional life to come here. It's about as uninviting a place for your career as its ever been. Expect to live with two or three strangers in a one bedroom working at a job with low pay.\n\nIt sucks to see how far Canada has fallen. I never thought I'd see it in this state, but here we are.

Chokor Millionaire, I don't agree absolutely with the blame on the government. At least from what I have seen in Ghana, people are starting businesses.\n\nI am going to say something I observed about Ghana. I found out that women, as usual, are more hard-working. I realised that the men don't have work because they are lazy or have too much pride. I have watched so many videos where so many business owners complain about the ineffectiveness and inefficiencies of the workers. They are not dedicated when they work for other people. I watched these business owners whose workers in the farms are mostly women, and they were very happy that women are easier to control and have good work ethics as opposed to men. The men prefer jobs where they don't use their energies such as Yahoo Yahoo boys, selling in shops where they don't touch anything or lift a finger.\n\nGrowing up, we knew that men were supposed to do the hard-working jobs in society. But these days, men like to idle around and touch nothing. The reasons being that the African culture teaches us that men are not supposed to do anything at home. They are supposed to be served by women. Then, instead of the men going out there to do the hard work and make the money, they wait around expecting cushy jobs that don't make them lift a finger.\n\nLook at China that you mentioned. These boys work absolutely hard. Even in the villages. Look at Muslim countries. You will never see women working on the streets. The men are even the ones who cook the food on the streets and sell. Check countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. In Africa, most things are done by women.\n\nAll this japa that people are fighting for. Have we ever thought of the agenda of these people needing free and cheap labour? I came to realise that we stupid Africans don't yet understand. Our children eventually become strangers, and we remain just surrogate parents. Most of our children are never going back to Africa, and when they get to an age, they become like strangers to us. Whatever we say, they look at us like archaic. What then makes them Africans anyway. We have seen so many of them who barely know their countries of origin and have never ever been there. They do not know their relations. In fifty years' time, that generation has lost their roots, and was that our intentions initially? This all dawned on me recently with my children, and I feel absolutely dejected because they are not interested in our country. All my hard work is gone down the drain, and all that can happen is for us to leave our children behind and live like people who never had children in the first place. For now, most people see it like something to be proud of, and are happy to say ( my children live abroad). Africans are the most stupid people I know, and that is why we are always used for slave labour. Why are they all approving all these visas and allowing all these people to drown at sea? \n\nThese countries allow these fake visas deliberately because they drain African countries to enrich their own since they can't get the minerals easily these days.

Try some semblence of justice! Stealing and eradication of Immigrants and their estates and this is condoned country wide! Racism, prejudism, theft, abuse and horrific prejudism of Immigrant citizens! Targeted non stop, to.steal everything by Canadian strangers! Greed , crimes and courts condone the Canadian theft!

this is all Joe Biden's fault and the Democrats\nThey selling and pushing for all the drugs , the kids being traffic, the money and power going to the cartels. This is a humanitarian disgrace.\nWell, we have record of homelessness people suffering and dying on our street right here right now ! We cannot take care of our own people. If you're living paycheck to paycheck, are you willing to just let one stranger stay in your home how about three or five or 10?\n\nDo you know that here in Chicago they're trying to get people to open up their houses to let migrant stay there ?\n\nThis is insanity - and it's by design\n\nJoe Biden has been on vacation more days then he's been . We are not stupid he's not running anything, which is why that fraud is so bad. The powers to be cooked at election. Wanted it to be exactly how it is.\n\nAmerica in downfall ...

A friend asked me to post this\n\nI came to the US when I was 18, went to college, and earned an MBA. I worked for 15 years with an H1B Visa and finally one day, I received a letter and had to leave the country in 60 days. It feels weird cause I feel like a stranger in my own land. I now make 10% of what I used to earn. I'm considering moving to France or Canada in 2024.\n\nPS: I spent 5 years in college and 15 years as an employee years in total

The Old Testament law does mention helping the stranger and the poor and needy. I'm a black lady who also has feels compassion for these people hoping they get the help they need to have a better life. But I am against any type of crimes they may commit. But my prayer is that God would have mercy upon each of them. Jesus is real

Fear of the unknown and convenience in this country has literally removed interaction between total strangers. Fear has been used to creates more money to circulate. Which is fueling all the major corporations. This country has become a social void. I do not belong here anymore. Please, do your research before coming here. Take it from someone who lived here close to 40 yrs. I have seen and experienced the ignorance of this first hand.

Yes, of course, although Canadian views can be true sometimes. Yet, we cannot defend our own Country as you can. That alone makes us ' nice'. We have to be.\nDo you see realness vs manipulation here, even for/against ourselves?\n Not to mention a new thing I've learned through an American. Homeownership & land rights. We have something called mineral rights. Ownership of land under homes is unknown sometimes I am sure. No wonder the government can just get rid of people (paying something of course) off their land.\nIf we considered North America as a whole, America would be the male of the 2 countries. Kinda weird but a vague thought. \nWith all the immigration I am beginning to feel like a stranger in my own country. Dealing with it but, they are not the only ones feeling stress. \n\nIt's hard for anyone to move though when family is important to you.\nBlessings

I am today a senior grandfather. I have spent much time in the USA, from Texas, New York, and out west in Ohio and California. I found the people I met and befriended and business partners to be as nice as Canadians. Most were generous in all ways. At some point, I thought about relocating, but...\n\nCanada had less money to offer as income, but considerably less expense. Nearly free university, a well educated population, a government not controlled by corporate money or interests. We have no right to have guns, though some of the well-to-do have hunting rifles. We do not live in fear if a stranger knocks on the door. We have government medical and prescription protection. Noone, repeat, has guns at home.\nRegarding prescription insurance, I pay a small fee per month ($30) and I have the government cover 80% of the cost. My kids, until age 18 were also covered for medication.\nUniversity at today cost is about $400/course plus $350/semister.\nDoctor visits are free, as well as hospital stays and surgery.\nThe average Canadian lifespan is 3-4 years more than the USA.\nThe cost of living is higher by 1/3 for food. Housing is about the same or slightly more, because we have winters and need to heat in winter and a/c in summer. Even so, electricity or gas is less expensive.\n\nSummary. With less money, we have a higher standard of living.

People travel with different mood swings and mindsets. Also with loss, emergency, fear and sitting for a long time in discomfort, and traveling with strangers next to them like that... Adding fuel to the fire someone (a child) kicking them from the back seat is too much. Parents should take responsibility to help their children learn to sit properly on the flight without creating any trouble for the co-passengers.

Big reason for me is so many people in the US are at all times, fully prepared to harm or kill a person at a moments notice, carrying guns and knives everywhere they go.\n\nI've had friends who hitch hiked and would carry pocket knives for protection, but otherwise it's not normalized in our culture to get physical over altercations.\n\nThe US just feels like some people will pull out a gun for any small inconvenience, road rage, stranger at the door, homeless person acting weird, random argument, people just go all out on each other.
2023-07-18 0
The way the lady is pulling the person, it seems they are relative. It would be better for the person if he would have allowed her daughter to seat along with the female relative instead of with an stranger and himself seating with the female relative may be his wife.
2023-07-18 0
May the person is from an competitors of vistara, may be they pre-planned to tarnish the image of vistara. Why his minor daughter is not seated with him, there is an lady seated to the right of the person, she may her mother. If the lady on the right is her mother, that shows the actual responsibility of the father towards his family. If that lady is the mother of the girl, the father could have allowed his daughter to seat along with her mother and he instead had seated along with the stranger not his daughter.

I went to the Atlanta suburbs a few years ago for corporate training (I was working in Canada for a US based company). There were people from all around North America there, who did not know each other before meeting there. What shocked me the most, even more than the constant subtext racism between people, in the news, everywhere basically, more than the senseless political debates where people take for one side just because, no matter the truth and lies, the arguments or even the crimes comitted by one side or the other, is the fact that 2 americans, never having met before, were talking about their prefered gun makes and ammunition types literally 5 minutes after having met the first time. THAT is unhealthy! THAT is scary! I just went with the flow and accepted it, and I kept noticing it for the 2 weeks I was there. In Canada, we talk about the weather to break the ice with strangers. In the states, you talk about guns. That is what we call gun culture and that, more than anything else, is why I'll never live in the US.\nOh, and just to make it worse, when I tried to explain why we did not feel like we had to have guns on our person in Canada, not a single American I talked to could ever begin to understand. Not centering your life around the fact that you can or cannot have a gun is just impossible for Americans, it seems.

NO. Never. Wonderful natural areas and cities to visit on vacation, but America has a personality disorder that's out of control. Not in any order except how they came to me:\n(1) the American Dream vs the Candian ideal. (2) In many places, any stranger you pass on a street or see anywhere may be legally armed with a gun. (3) Babies to adults -- all can be murdered over and over again, and nothing changes. (4) Healthcare - the idea people thing they shouldn't take care of others is appalling to me. (5) Religious fanaticism - nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. (6) Rampant racism alongside denial of the existence of racsim; nope again x 10. (7) What used to be creeping corruption is now rampant all the way to the Supreme Court (8) 50% of the people want authoritarian fascist for a leader corrupt Supreme Court ... Is that enough for now?

Oh no, I don’t like it when Americans see stuff like this. One of Canadian’s less admirable qualities is that we can be a little smug when comparing ourselves to the US.\n\nTo cheer Tyler up there are some things I prefer about the states. Where I live in Vancouver we’re quite cliquish and don’t talk to strangers, but when I’m in the states I can make a new best friend in a subway ride.\n\nAmericans are also extremely charitable. If you look at the rates of charitable giving in the US vs Canada there is no comparison.

Nowadays these bratty kids have no sense at all. Dont know how to behave with strangers and shame on these parents who give them the liberty of bullying and disturbing the other person's peace just because she is a kid. Kids dont scream this way and talk to the elders. Itna hi rona aa raha hai toh chillana bandh kar. Learn to respect no matter who is in the wrong. Chillane se saaf samajh aa raha hai ki khud hi ne hi kaand kiya aur baacha nahi samajhke uncle ne retaliate kiya tab pappa yaad aa gaye!

Ask yourself a question-I a stranger walks up to you and DEMANDS you give them something, you’d have a problem with that-right? Then when you refuse, they just take what they want—how you feeling now,you ready to throw down aren’t you?! You’re watching that scenario play out on your screen, you mad yet?

Yup. This year was the worse. If you think things don't get any worse in Canada well it does. Naked people laying around, people yelling at each other and raising their hands to strangers.

All the people in the world need a high dose of physdelics the world would be a diffrent place, could u imagine loving another person as if it were your brother or sister but a complete stranger and there nationality didn't matter.

If I have a house and my kids are malnourished, no bed, no decent clothing, then some strangers try to barge in and DEMAND some food, a place to sleep , and want me to take care of their children. Im taking the gun out.\nFrom a non-american point of view. Take care of your internal problems first before you start worrying about other countries problems.Just block them off, you have the largest military in the world. Now use them to actually protect your homeland for real this time.

With this kind of invasion, all citizens of the United should be equipped with guns and be ready to fight if INVADERS do insurrection hit job. These strangers who are flooding America by force (MEN OR WOMEN), should not be trusted. Remember how they do crimes and government take over... Americans safety, health and sovereignty is being attacked. AIDING AND ABETTING THE RAPE OF USA, MASS ENTRY, IS WRONG. Pray for our safety and that our government is not taken over by inflow of daring, dangerous strangers.

I think people with You Tube videos promoting Canada as a place to live are paid to do those videos. \nYour assessment regarding Canada is bang on. \nI feel sad for people who come here with the belief that their lives will be better, Only to find out that they are far worse off. \nI've noticed the cost of groceries and housing have tripled in the last few years.\nVery difficult to get a Dr in Canada. 50.000 people in my small province are without a Dr. \nPeople are being neglected by Canada's healthcare system to the point of dying right in the hospital waiting rooms or while waiting for an ambulance. Yet, A huge chunk of taxes go toward healthcare. \nHomeless encampments are on the rise as landlords are gouging people for exorbitant rent. Streets are lined with homeless people and with the high cost of living it could be anyone of us carting our humble belongings around in a shopping cart.\nIf you have children I'd avoid sending them to Canadian schools and opt for homeschooling. Your children will be read to by drag queens while sitting on some strangers lap. \nThis week in class my neighbors son class will be showing boys how to paint their nails. They've already been taught about every kind of sexual position and how to use condoms and butt plugs. Yes, Even elementary students!\nThe school libraries are filled with books that promote pedophilia. \nThey want your children dumbed down and sexualized at an early age.\nWars are instigated because the greedy globalists want the land and resources and the politicians regardless of their colors are all in the pockets of a few elitists who rule over the many.\nThe globalists know that war creates all of the things they support. \nDepopulation, Refugees, Who they want for cheap Labor, Land the refugees left behind for the resources to fill their troughs with. \n\nMy apologies for the long diatribe and Thank You Sir for being an honest and informative voice regarding the truth about Canada. \n\nI was born and raised here and my dream is to leave. \nEven Russia or China is starting to look good compared to Canada.

I’m American and Canada ?? is awesome I love the people. Some of the best people I ever met. Strangers paying for my food all type of stuff. Shout out to all Canadians. I wanted to move there it’s just too cold, I’m from Michigan. That Canadian weather hits different ?. But it’s somewhat strange to me that America and Canada open there borders like that. When every other country doesn’t want foreigners but there people stay coming to our countries make it make sense.

What the hell is wrong with people? \nIf your country needs change then guess what? \nChange it. You are the only people that can do it. Instead you allowed your home, your country, your people , to mess it all up. \nSo instead of cleaning up your messes, you discard your country and want to take from another country that doesn’t allow the nonsense all of you allowed. \nSo you want to come here to the USA to mess it all up as well? \nScrew that. Fight for your rights in your own country instead of leaving it like a discarded piece of trash. \nRemove the government and rebuild it in your own visions. \nAmerica did it and so Americans expect everyone else to do the same. \nNo excuses. Go home and clean up your mess. \nCome here and be met with constant disdain and regret on a daily basis. \nWhy everyone wants to take from strangers after destroying their own lands is just an idiotic thing of nature. \nBuild your country into your utopia. \nImagine buying land, building a beautiful house and waking up to migrants in your fridge making breakfast then seeing an encampment in your front yard of tents. \nImagine foreigners helping themselves to all of your stuff. \nThen the gaul they have to think it’s perfectly ok to take whatever they want. \nToday under these circumstances, compassion is out the window.

Why do people think they are entitled to just enter a country just because theirs is shit you don't have any right to force your way into another's sovereign land it's the same as a stranger forcing their way into your home and then saying I live here now.

Who are your people? Americans or gods children. Republicans love god and his children so long as they’re white americans. God doesn’t care about your nationalism he wants you to help everyone. Leviticus 19:34 “You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.”

Hello American Christian Patriots! Do you ignore the WORD OF GOD? \n\n\nI am a stranger and an alien residing among you; give me property among you for a burying place, so that I may bury my dead out of my sight.’\nGenesis 23:4\n\nYou shall also love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.\nDeuteronomy 10:19\n\nThe alien who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the alien as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.\nLeviticus 19:34\n\n‘Cursed is anyone who withholds justice from the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow.’ Then all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’\nDeuteronomy 27:19\n\nWhen they were few in number, of little account, and strangers in the land, wandering from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people, he allowed no one to oppress them; he rebuked kings on their account, saying, ‘Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.’\n1 Chronicles 16:19-22\n\nI was eyes to the blind, and feet to the lame. I was a father to the needy, and I championed the cause of the stranger. I broke the fangs of the unrighteous, and made them drop their prey from their teeth.\nJob 29:15-17\n\nThe Lord watches over the strangers; he upholds the orphan and the widow, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.\nPsalm146:9\n\nFor if you truly amend your ways and your doings, if you truly act justly one with another, if you do not oppress the alien, the orphan, and the widow, or shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not go after other gods to your own hurt, then I will dwell with you in this place, in the land that I gave of old to your ancestors forever and ever.\nJeremiah 7:5-7\n\nYou shall allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the aliens who reside among you and have begotten children among you. They shall be to you as citizens of Israel; with you they shall be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel.\nEzekiel 47:22\n\nThus says the Lord of hosts: Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another; do not oppress the widow, the orphan, the alien, or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.\nZechariah 7:9-10\n\nYou have heard that it was said, ‘you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy’. But I say to you, love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you.\nMatthew 5:43-44\n\nI was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.\nMatthew 25:35\n\nTruly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of my brethren you did it to me.\nMatthew 25:40\n\nYou shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.\nLuke 10:27\n\nThen Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.\nActs 10:34\n\nContribute to the needs of the saints; extend hospitality to strangers.\nRomans 12:13\n\nOwe no one anything, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.\nRomans 13:8\n\nLove does no wrong to a neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.\nRomans 13:10\n\nIn that renewal there is no longer Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and free; but Christ is all and in all.\nColossians 3:11\n\nLet mutual love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it. Remember those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them; those who are being tortured, as though you yourselves were being tortured.\nHebrews 13:1-3\n\nBeloved, you do faithfully whatever you do for the friends, even though they are strangers to you; they have testified to your love before the church. You do well to send them on in a manner worthy of God; for they began their journey for the sake of Christ, accepting no support from non-believers. Therefore we ought to support such people, so that they may become co-workers with the truth.\n3 John 1:5\n\nAnd I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “See the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them as their God; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them.”\nRevelation 21:3

Don't let them in. We don't know anything about them. Would you let strangers into your home? No. Every person coming into the US needs to have a criminal background check, proof of employment, health screenings for viruses and diseases, and the ability to communicate in basic English.

Canada's healthcare is not all that. Atleast in Ontario. There is no dental coverage, no eye coverage. But its good for people who old or have critical illnesses since its all covered. \nCanada also has a very weak job market than the U.S. There is almost no opportunity for highly skilled labor. The U.S is a world leader in technology and industry and has more rewarding opportunities for talented people. As a Canadian who has lived in the U.S. I must agree Americans are more willing to be friends with strangers. I also think the U.S is far more culturally diverse but better assimilated. The U.S is a better place if you are talented and hardworking. Canada is a better place if you are a min wager.

I am a relatively poor American. I wish I could just walk into a strangers mansion and just declare that I live there now

I live in El paso... This happens every day. Many get through. Car accidents and high-speed chases through the city... people running across the border highway (loop 375) and I-10. Strangers walking through your property in the middle of the night. Migrant tent cities popping up everywhere. Homeless migrants everywhere downtown.

Why do people want to migrate so badly? Why not just visit the other country for a while and go home? Embrace your culture. It's better to live in your own land surrounded by your family and friends then to be a stranger in a foreign land.

This country is all fucked up anyway the politicians have completely knackered it ve've got just about every nationality in the world here it's like a bomb primed and ready to go off if you we're a stranger getting of a plane you wouldn't know what country you were in but I will guarantee you that you'll be on the next plane out thank god my family has got out of this shit hole before things really get bad to pay back the money the government is borrowing is going to cripple the private sector we'll need to be taxed to death to fix this government mess

It is widely known that the irresponsible and incompetent JT government has done nothing constructive for our country and its citizens. But it has ruined and damaged our nation by opening its doors to foreigners and strangers in large numbers.\n \nThese immigrants have taken over many jobs that would otherwise have been available to locals. They have also caused an increase in crime rates and a decrease in the overall quality of life in the country. JT's actions need to be held accountable.

I've been Canadian my whole life, but went to California for vacation when I was a teen. At least where I'm from in Canada (BC) its just normal to smile and say hi when passing by someone. It just feels nice to do. But in California, I'd be left feeling embarrassed, people looking at me like I'm weird for smiling at strangers

That's so funny and true at the same time. Sadly, I was born in the falsely advertised 'Best place on Earth, 'Canada' and therefore, cannot claim asylum in any other country, so I will pass away alone in hospice with 5 other dying strangers. Luckily, I moved away just in time through the UK ancestry scheme and live my dreams with my partner I met in a home we bought in a city where I don't have to look at the price tags as I know it's already 6x cheaper than Canada! However, there's a catch in that you can only go back as far as your grandparents to use the Ancestry Escape Pod, so if your grandparents were born in Canada I wish you all the luck and who knows, maybe you'll eventually merge with the USA and freedom and happiness is yours. Life is better on the outside. I moved 15yrs ago and never look back. I calculated a week to visit my siblings in Canada costs the same as 6 months worth of mortgage payments (my share).

What about the toll it takes on young Canadians, who can't afford to move out of their parent's house and feel like strangers in their own classrooms? Why are Canadians ALWAYS ignored?

Sorry but I trust my gun more than I trust some strangers.. Lmk how that pistol ban goes tho

I'm an American living in Europe for a couple years right now. It's so weird to realize I can DRIVE TO ANOTHER COUNTRY FASTER THEN SOME STATES ? I will say that maybe it's because I was in the midwest but I miss being able to smile and wave at strangers. I'm in germany and when I do that to be friendly and spread a little cheer I get glared at ?

This is a disgrace . You people should stop this. Indians and even Kenyans will not shame their Country so much. Imagine one calling Nigera Trench ,your Father's land !!! Dont come back now continue to be a stranger in foreign nations. Most of this ones their parents are lonely, living pathetically alone in big houses.\nFor folks always sending their children abroad l have a little story for u. There was a man that celebrated his 70th birthday. None of his so called choldren graced the occassion. I don't think they came home till his last day. He has gone to his eternal home now, where l believe he will never be lonely again. So whats all this stress

The biggest pro about Americans IMO is their willingness to befriend complete strangers. It is very easy to make friends with Americans whereas speaking as a Canadian you generally need an invite to a group to make friends.

In 1960's people went to UK with a job voucher, enrolled for education and then found a decent job. The families only had to pay for the travelling expenses. There was no job agencies to give false promises and make money. \nCanada is heaven where you have to share a room with a dozen of strangers sharing kitchen and washroom.

This whole system needs an overhaul. Why is Canada recruiting so many international students just from India anyway? If there has been a need for housing/hostels for international students why doesn't the government tackle this. In Kenya private developers build studio apartments in areas with Colleges/Universities, this works out pretty well. A private space is better than strangers huddled up together

This is the same as conceal carry. The knife should be inside the shirt. I have a neck knife but nobody knows it. I make my wife uncomfortable if I wear it outside my shirt. So of course a stranger will be uncomfortable.
