Hi Jason,\nVery informative video. Thank you. I have a following question, it would be highly appreciated if you could clarify.\nYou mentioned that PCC required from any country where you have stayed for more than 6 months in the past ten years. I am bit confused here; for example: I am an Indian, who has stayed in UAE for 3 years and I am currently staying in NZ since July 2019. Does that mean I need to obtain PCC from India, UAE and NZ ? Or the recent country which is NZ ? However it won't be an issue to obtain PCC from NZ and India.

Since taxes seem to be biggest interest. This is latest stat for average household: 40% to taxes and 32% to living (home, food, transportation) with taxes expect to go up even more under current government. And FYI, weather in Vancouver is mild but has one of the highest standards of living and homelessness in Canada. And we don’t have “free” healthcare it’s socialized. So going to clinic for basic check up is ok but anything more there are long wait times with many choosing to go out of country to get treatments. It’s important to be mindful of the propaganda about Canada or any country really. I love my country but it’s not a wonderland.

Preetinder, how are you?\n\nI sincerely hope that all is well with you and your family.\n\nI wanted to check in with you to understand your current situation on immigration to Canada.\n\nYou have expressed your interest to immigrate to Canada on our website, but have not completed the process.\n\nThe first step would be determining your eligibility for a Canadian PR Visa.\n\nWhen you first registered on our website, you selected India as your country of birth and Computer Operators as your occupation.

I got offered $7,000 to fake a marriage to a Chinese woman back in 2005 or so. Good thing I declined - my first wife applied for citizenship (from the US) and later my current wife is keeping up her PR. Imagine if I screwed that up for a paltry sum of 7 grand? \n\nIt pays to be honest. My life may have been very different if I had accepted that deal.

I currently live in TX & as soon as I finish my nursing degree I plan on starting my immigration journey to Canada. Hopefully, soon after I gain Canadian citizenship I can renounce my U.S citizenship bc I have no desire to ever step foot back into the U.S or pay them a dime in taxes.

I am currently working in Munich. Started working 3 months back there. I am in Devops but I do not like the work. The salary is also low. I have got another offer from Surrey, the job profile is good. Salary is also fine. I am planning to live in Vancouver and travel to Surrey for work. I need advice, should I really leave Germany for Canada ? The major issue in Germany is language and for positions like team leader, German is must. What should I do ?

Haai brother thanks for this video.. \nThe best simplified Video ever, based on Canadian PR. \n\nI have some doubt, pls clarify brother. \n\n1)I have completed 4 year Btech Civil Engineering...How it is calculated for CRS( Professional or Bachelors)?\n\n2) I have 4 year experience in Civil Engineering( 2 year as Site Engineer and 2 year as Technical service Engineer),my question is how CRS is calculated since designation is different.(but 60% job is same).\n\n3)As of now my CRS score is less than 460,So i would like to apply PNP program. What is the chances of getting PNP (alberta/any provinces) with my current designation.\n\n4)How should i know about the current job requirement based on my designation in a particular provincial? \n\n5) Would it be benificial for my PNP if i do any 6 months Skills improvement program related to my qualification? \n\nWaiting for your more detailed PNP videos ???

I pity those listening to people like this for immigration issues. When you guys come here you start to blog nonsense. And claiming immigration we are currently working on how to get you all arrested for making fake video in bluff.

Can we stop saying ‘undocumented?’ This is a man who in two separate occasions walked into a country illegally. I understand the plight, wanting to leave somewhere to give you and your family a better life. However, at what point do we sit here and realize that we need to either follow the process or improve the current process because we cannot have undocumented individuals living across North America.

Some encouraging news.\nThe Canadian Supreme Court just recently ruled the “safe third country agreement” with the U.S. violates the Canadian charter of rights and freedoms. The Canadian government has six months to dissolve the agreement or appeal, which is unlikely with the current Trudeau administration, and the current Republican Party immigration hardliners in power in Washington.

To me, it looks like Vice is really trying to pull the emotional card to get people to sympathize with this man because he really is in a rough situation. But, he is in a situation of his own making. It sounds like he had not done any prior research about Canada before deciding to claim refugess status. Yes, Trudeau was not giving the full truth when he made those public announcements to the media. Yes, people (educated or not) can be swayed by words of leaders they respect. But, to think you can just enter another country and claim refugee status without understanding what that actually entails is very naive. Canada has very transparent laws that are easily accessable in a multitude of different languages. The provinces also have legal assistance for those who can not afford lawyers. So, the fact that this man was able to spent $15,000 when he is being portrayed as a low income earner makes me question his income, or if he was even aware that he could apply for legal assistance. And since he has a lawyer who has been working his case, I would like to assume that the lawyer would have said something about assistance.\n\nI really want to be sympathetic for this man and his family, because security uncertainty makes life extra hard. But, as I have had to live in more than one country due to the Canadian immigration system refusing my husband due to a very old DUI (which has set our life on a completely different plan than anticipated), I have a very hard time being sympathetic when I feel as though they did not reach out to educated themselves on the laws of another country. I am a Canadian who currently can't live in Canada with my husband of 3 years and I still don't hate my country. I respect the hell out of it (this is not to get into our historic treatment of BIPOC, which deserves it's own seperate time and is a bloody stain on our land's history.)

The key point is history, not current day racism and it's not bad now like it is today.

Decapitate and NOT arrested until the next day? Can you imagine how racists Edmonton police is, with the current political climate? They need to defund the police department for that!

Show me an example of this in current day Canada.

I'm well into my 40s and have NEVER seen a case prejudice at the corporate level nor have I seen a instance of gender based discrimination. Infact, many of my employers have provided me female managers and POC. This narration doesn't speak to many because IF it's seen, it should be dealt with in a car by case basis as there is no systematic bias in North America other than this current narration that there IS a bias everywhere. Ashamed my tax dollars have funded this agenda as the CBC itself is a clear example of how diverse the Canadian work force has been and continues to be.

The first step before understanding a conflict, let alone trying to solve it, is listening. Bravo to CBC for giving a voice to people who are in positions of leadership who represent the disenfranchised, the violated and the overlooked. One thing that can be frustrating about “not seeing a problem that doesn’t involves us immediately” is that we are locked in to our own worldview—and it’s frustrating to be asked to change something we ourselves don’t think needs fixing. The importance of just listening, and being witnesses to specific stories, human to human—and being reeducated on the lingering multi-generational consequences of past and current racism is what needs to be focused on, if you are an individual who feels like nothing is wrong. The task is merely to listen—and doubt your sense of comfort, satisfaction and preference for the status quo. Listening, and doubt can lead to change. Collective change can lead to understanding, and even, healing. It is so hard to doubt oneself at this level because “othering” is a very strong force in tribal instincts and dynamics. To be asked to let go of this seemingly real sense of self and group identity can be extremely unsettling, psychologically. I hope that is somehow helpful for people who are reading, in some way. I wish that our education not only reflected history accurately, but also made it mandatory to learn basic principles of psychology.

Focus on the historical racism of Canada while they can't produce one tangible example of current systemic racism but just moan and groan about it. One of the weakest arguments for systemic racism yet. Great job Clown Broadcasting Corp.

i am an older white woman living in an apartment complex for people who have lost everything. i lost my entire $750k retirement. i have lived here for 10 years. the population is \n15% white women over 50 \n10% black women over 50, \n5% white men under 50 \n2% white women under 50\n3% black women under 50 \n65% black men under 50\ni have been sick so i havent been out of my apartment. but i am concerned. i dont know many people. the ones i know accept and know me as i am know to not be concerned \nbut i am afraid when i leave here, people are going to look for my prejudice based on current events\nthat test sounds like it will make you sound prejudiced. thats a loaded question\nDo you believe black as can have it as good as whites if they try harder\nhow do you answer that without sounding bad\nyes i believe that is true - definitely a bad answer\nno i dont think thats true sounds like i dont think blacks can have it as good. \ni worked for BDMi in Houston\nfor 4 yearsa not one bl;ack was hired because the original partner, retired who owned the building would not permit it.\nit was blatant\nafter 4 years i had it, i reported it to the eeoc people, they said they couldnt do anything. nothing happened except i was 'let go'c

What is the current situation ?
2020-04-14 0
Why not tell tell the true story of today's racing work places instead of going back to old stories of yesterday time and time again?. Work place issue are more important today than retelling the same old story again and again. How can we change by the current situation to make it better? Nothing new to learn from this now because of the difference in time. CBC should do better.

There is a huge difference in their immigration policies too, in America people are kind of expected to assimilate. Whereas in Canada people are encouraged to be distinct culturally. Lived in both states and Canada, currently a resident of Canada so can tell this difference with my own experience. ♥️??
2020-03-23 0
its not racism its just how the world works currently\nfor example using something other than race\ncar parks on side of the road. car opens door, unseen bike rider gets angry that the car opened the door in his riding path.\nsame bike rider gets to a red light with people crossing. runs the red light swerving through people but sees no problem with that though.\npeople just self centered. everyone chooses a side and only argues for that side. argues against the other side. can never do anything wrong in their own eyes but watches everyone else telling them they are wrong

EVERYTHING TRUDEAU IS SAYING IS A LIE!!!! There are still planes in the air, one is currently on it's way from China to Canada. They have NOT closed the borders to flights.\nYou can see for yourself at Flightradar24. The skies are FULL of planes, coming from everywhere to everywhere. And WE are being told to stay inside, and home from work, \nwhile Trudeau tries to turn Canada into a fully Communist country.

Gold plated healthcare in Canada what a absolute fantasy . Our healthcare is truly abysmal if you are not part of the privileged class. In case you haven’t noticed people are dying on waiting lists and those with money go private in B. C. Or go south to the US or Mexico. I am currently in SanJose del Cabo doing physio after my back surgery . Public system wanted me to wait two years for same surgery and I had lost the use of my right leg. Yes close Roxam Road but please stop perpetuating the fantasy we have quality healthcare .

There are tons of Youtubers trying to earn money from this but none ever mentioned that job posting always says “If you are not currently authorized to work in Canada, the employer will not consider your job application.”
2020-02-12 2
the below note is by a designated employer in one of these lists and the company actually hiring:\n\n**Anyone who can legally work in Canada can apply for this job. If you are not currently authorized to work in Canada, the employer will not consider your job application.**\n\nso you need to be there to find a job otherwise its a waste of time
