I'm surprised so many homeless in Canada. I thought they were so much better than America, and you would never see that

I have visited the United States many, many MANY, MANY times over the years. I've loved every single visit. The people are warm and lovely....some of your scenery and historic things were more than a joy to behold Would I ever want to move there ? Not even for a second. In fact, sadly, my husband won't even go back for a visit anymore. This is sad to me, but I understand where he is coming from. \nWas sad to say good-bye to our dearest friends who moved to the US, because the job pay and promotion was impossible to say no to. They lasted 2 months and settled for less pay and no promotion to come back home. They found it so weird, that all the new friends they made, thought they were freaks because they didn't own guns. The final straw was when they learned these people were packing when they came to summer barbeques. That was the final straw, and they high-tailed it home. \nIn recent times, a country run by someone I see as a loose cannon, psychopath...makes it a most emphatic NO.

The reporter thought she is able to blame the Arab world and hide her evil agenda

Never thought of it like that… always wondered why they aren’t helping! Only God can help now ??

Someone ask Trudeau what he thought of the chant coming from the fans at UFC 297 in Toronto this past weekend. Golden.
2024-01-23 0
Sorry Trudeau not true about immigration we as Canadians are suffering from high gas and food costs plus housing is a huge problem in Canada if you had any thought on how to do anything right you would hold off on letting immigrants coming into Canada right now let’s wait on new immigrants coming into Canada

Just a curious thought on the housing crisis. Why isn't anyone bringing up foreign and multi-home ownership as part of the supply problem?

I’d like to think I could watch the whole video but frankly within the first 3 reasons people are “leaving Canada” - not something I’ve notice although in and election season I am not surprised this may be getting blown up In conservative press, you have left out any real context. Yep we pay taxes - but you don’t speak to what services those taxes do our don’t deliver. The complaint that employers want to hire people with experience is as old as time. I’m 70 and when I tried to get jobs as a kid and later as a university grad - it was the same story. Whether the job really requires experience or the employer is just using it to keep entry level wages down - that just goes with the territory and also feels universal. Lastly - you speak of “the Canadian way” without giving any examples. What is “the Canadian way” or is that just your euphemism for racial or cultural prejudice? If it is you should just say what you mean and stop bandying ill defined terms around that let viewers arrive at conclusions you don’t intend. So already being pretty annoyed with your Masters degree opinion piece - I had to stop you and move on. You thoughts here are not very meaningful and feel like they are full of grievances and intended to be asking for audience validation of your grievances which pretty much invalidates your disclaimer at the top of the video.

Thank you Ma’am for wonderful thoughts and suggestions ❤

In recent years Saudi has been the most gentle, thoughtful and respectful country. Hats off to all Saudis, especially MBS.

Common sense isn't Common. This guy thought wearing a knife and head dress was a good idea. This is America and we have been attacked by people looking like this.

What??? CNN reporting the truth???! I never thought I’d see this day!

I’m not sure what is meant by “making friends” exactly. In my opinion, finding people you can be open with and trust takes years, no matter where you live on this planet. So, for what it’s worth, I thought Calgarians to be easygoing, Montrealers to be outgoing but click-ish, and people in Ottawa kind of dull (at a social group level). I’ve only spent a couple of weeks in Vancouver as a traveler so I can’t really judge but my sister and a friend who both studied and worked in Vancouver - and who are both outgoing people- found it difficult to crack through social circles in Vancouver. They basically thought that Vancouverites are a little elitist/snobby.

What are the Saudis doing about the current situation? I thought they had a plan but im beginning to doubt that.

You have very good thoughts, ideas and remarkable iman, but a warning to you that you will be EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED when the true reality of the world, especially the Muslim countries hit you. Your experience just might be different then what you are imagining other countries to be like and the life style you are imagining they will offer to you. Canada is heaven compared to the hypocrisy, lack of religious values and lost culture that is out there. But then life is a test, and everyone has a different test that they must go thru.

What a balanced and thoughtful article. So un-CBC. Keep up the good work.

It must be worse that we thought if you're talking about it. Yes, duhhhhhh

For a government sponsored money grab they have totally mismanaged this without much thought or planning.

BIG RESET? its all planned and orchestrated to bring CHAOS And COLLAPSE, look at the timing, same Bs Is happening in the US, Europe, food for thought...

I never never thought of moving to Canada because of the merciless weather.

I thought they had guns in Texas. I guess they just don’t know how to use them.

I totally agree that this country will break your spine and test your ultimate willpower. Me and my wife came here 5 years back and we decided that we will shut ourselves like a tortoise. Forget about savings and forget about everything else. Only and only one goal we had in mind is that we will live in the basement and earn top dollars. Just to give you a perspective. My first pay was 19 dollar per hour and my current pay is 87 per hour. My wife started with 16.5 per hour and now earning 69 per hour. Even though our income grew substantially, we never raised our expenses. Answer to all problems in Canada is income. Now after 5 years we bought house worth of 1.4 M. We moved out of basement and felt immense pride. We paid 37% down payment and 3 banks approved our mortgages in a heartbeat. No debt at all. We paid up our car in full. Just a regular new suv nothing fancy. \nEveryone is different, we all are unique and I believe you took a right decision. Each and every word you said in the video is true. \nWe cried , we fought , we felt that our life is ruined but we both thought that ek bar to Canada ko harana hai. Itni income generate karenge ki sala CRA shock ho jaye progress dekh ke. We literally cried when we saw our YTD on Dec 31,2023. We crossed 300k and lately to be honest we got a kick in living in basement. People around us thought of us as a regular poor couple but from inside we knew that we are earning in top 3% of Canadian population. \nI would highly recommend that understand the job market of Canada. Work on your soft skills. Power on the language is MUST. It is even more important than your technical knowledge. Make meaningful connections. Stay away from negative people. Once you understand your inner strength then now body can stop you.\n\nThanks for this amazing video. Love the narration and information.

I'm so surprised! Here in Awstraya we thought Canada had gone weak in the knees. But from these comments its not the case. Proud of you guys ?

Things are unfolding faster then we thought..... you will do it and we will see that happening!

I am not Muslim and I don’t live in Canada but I completely understand and agree with your thoughts. I am a Catholic in America and the pain that I have felt to witness what my country is allowing to take place in Palestine is just heartbreaking. I can’t even imagine raising a family here and I fully intend to leave before that happens. I look forward to seeing what countries you end up considering❤

Canada has outran the USA in the proliferation of the thought, that the State, not the individual is responsible for one’s well being. I think there’s still hope for the west, but things will have to descend much further into darkness before people change the behaviors causing the problems.

This gal is pushing the Israel line of thought. Death or immigrate. Eisenhower reined them in by cutting off funding.

I thought Saudi Arabia government is against Palestinians like what MBS is showing. Looks like the Arabs still love and feel for Palestinians unlike MBS. Totally Agreed with this guy

??? I never thought I would agree with Saudi.

OMG I thought Canada was good but the comments section says otherwise .Truly eye opening.

Stay strong my sister. We give thanks for your blessings: Your initial shared accommodation; being able to sponsor your family to join; your course entry, polite people in your area and on the bus; your opportunity to exercise daily through walking and your continued faith. My thoughts are with you concerning your headache as an occasional migraine sufferer myself. There are many triggers for painful headaches that do not appear to go away; here are a few you may want to look into: Atmospheric pressure (heavy rain , thunder storms); Fluorescent lighting ( this took years to discover); Dehydration (It is recommended to add some salt to your water -too help retain some water in body); excessive light from computer screens & phones ( you may want to adjust your display in the computer/iPad accessibility suit); Sinus congestion; Stress from possible overthinking & worry; hypertension; dietary intolerances (BBQ sauce, strawberries, & dairy were mine); Too much salt intake in food e.g. Maggi cubes and added table salt; Tension in shoulders, etc. \n\nIn addition to above suggestions you may wish to soak your feet in water in the evening, I add Epson salt and oil of my choice lavender etc.\n and eye glasses prescription review.\nDeep tissue massages or reflexology once a month etc.\nYou may wish to keep a journal of your headaches to help you monitor triggers and not effective relief solutions;\nAnd Food prep in advance to save some cooking time.\n\nAll the best. Kenyah

First of all I think you are adorable couple. There will be changeless ahead and some eye-opening realizations. \n1. There is no one you can pray to (only you and the fbi can hear you inner thoughts;)\n2. Arab countries might view you as a rebellious elements (might not like it there as having a lot of western cultural imprints)\nBe safe and blessed on your journey.

I thought she would mention all of the Woke policing by the people against it's own people.
2024-01-15 0
I’m trying hard to understand. I thought when someone goes to a different country to live they accept what that country is about. I’m sad to hear these people say they’re leaving because Canada has some elements that are offensive to them. I though Islam was about acceptance.
2024-01-15 0
I just don’t understand if Canada is so bad why do Canadians keep voting for Trudeau to be PM? I thought London had problems but Toronto is just as bad, if not worst.
2024-01-15 0
10 minutes of complaining about our country. \nMy thoughts? Don’t let the door hit you in the @ss on your way out.

Conclusion: Marry a super rich Canadian man or woman in Toronto. Americans used to hear only great things about Toronto over the past fifty years and how Toronto was so much better than a lot of run-down, economically depressed, high-crime American cities. To hear a lot of Canadians on social media dissing their own major cities is astonishing and most troubling. No one thought Canada would ever hit the rocks so soon. What in the heck happened to you, Canada?
2024-01-15 0
why not going somewhere near Palestine to help them? definitely Canada doesn't support your thoughts and should not. cheers
2024-01-15 0
Wow, as a Christian I can't believe how much I agree with you. I don't mind the cold, and I love the Northern Lights. I love thunderstorms too. I've been to Senegal and other Muslim countries and when the call to prayer was played over the loud speakers, my thoughts were that this should cause me to pray as well. Isn't this really the only response?

I honestly thought this was a satire/comedy vlog ???. As if they wont find extreme inflation, misogyny, intolerance and unbearably hot or humid weather in virtually every muslim majority country ???. \nCanada has turned into an authoritarian, woke, progressive dictatorship, but it's light years ahead if any muslim country... Without oil the middle east would still be a goat herding backwater. Muslim african countries are also, fascist , economic deserts. Only the asian muslim countries seem to be thriving capitalist venues, and thats probably because of the chinese immigrant entrepreneurs who run everything there. Islam is a backward ideology designed to guarantee economic failure unless your country is lucky enough to have oil or other valuable minerals.

Well done guys for sharing your thoughts and plans…please be a doer of what you preach. And keep us posted!

oh my god this search-for-work - obey - die schedule people go through is so disgusting! A medical professional not being able to find work and leaving the country is ridiculous. Any thoughts on the future of this country? The political topic that you said you didn't want to get too deep into was actually very interesting. Also check out the movies Interreflections and Zeitgeist: Moving Forward and text back what you think.

How is this true? I always thought of Canada as the little (but more prosperous, friendly, safe and polite) brother of the US. A place that might be nice to visit or even retire. I am only here as I am flying to Toronto from Dublin soon. First Sweden, now Canada. What is going on?
2024-01-14 0
As an Asian myself, I have been having the same thoughts too. Weather and cost of living is getting so hard as I am getting older.
2024-01-14 0
Just a food for thought perhaps might help my Bruv and sis….. have you tried to live other country you intending to immigrate??
2024-01-14 0
I had an opportunity for work for Aramco in Saudi Arabia about ten years ago and I was offered about $200K without tax. The thought of my wife and three girls wearing the outer islamic garment (abaya?) was a complete no go for my family and decided to turn down the offer. Every country is not for everyone. I hope Saleh family can find a place where they can practice their religion peacefully. Even though Islamic values are more aligned with conservative party principles, I don't understand why would muslim community wholeheartedly support liberals and their degenerate principles.

Why did you move to a democratic nation in the first place? I thought you loved Sharia Law!
