In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world.\n\nThere are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions, welfare, unemployment benefits, disability benefits and the numerous other programs, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia.\n\nMulticulturalism destroys the fabric and identity of a country. Socialism bankrupts a country.

Labor shortages are not caused by lack of people, but the lack of people willing to do the job for various reason like low wages. I am an immigrant from India, came with job offer, earn enough that i do not get child benefits and pay high taxes.\n\nStudents from Gujrat and Punjab from India are literally headaches. Another issue is immigration ( refugees) from Middle East. \nI work my ass off not to pay taxes for immigrants and their benefits.\n\nUnfortunately all of my friends are seriously considering moving out of Canada to US or even India as salaries back in India for our positions is actually better than Canada.\nMost of us are waiting for right opportunities. I am an indian immigrant to Canada, and it sickens me to see Indian communities in Canada. Canada's immigration system worked so well until 2019. And they really messed it up in 2020 with almsot tripling the intake overnight. And Indian people are the least likely to try to assimilate, and they always push their customs on other cultures. It's sad to see how the country is represented in canada, and I hate that I have to be associated with it.

I am not indian but if you don'twant immigration then you should have work force.you call them because you don't have enough people to work for your country.they come to your country pay fees ,do all your odds jobs pay taxes ,which you pay to your junkies, build roads your infrastructure Etc and they don't get any benefit of the tax they pay as they are not permanent resident,even they have to get private health insurance for any medical treatment.Remember covid days no immigration, Australia, Canada uk Etc all were crying for works.You need to thankful to them as they are contributing in your countries in many ways.

Ok, here is my message to anyone that wants to come live here in Canada.\nRent for housing:\nApartment 800$-1500$ per month \nHouse 2000$+ per month.\nMortgage for apartment or house:\nMinimum house value 2 bedroom is 350000$.\nIn the cities it's minimum 400000$\nFood is not cheap. 2 litres of milk is 6$, loaf of bread is 3$, 1lbs of beef is 12$, gas is 1.75$/ litre.\nElectric bill is from 100-400$ per month depending on size and insulation.\nCar insurance and DMV is different in every province, but very expensive. Example in Quebec car license is 90$/ year. Dmv is 220$ per car per year, insurance is 600$-2000$ per year depending on car and driving experience.\nNow you have to work, jobs start at 16$/ hour and income tax must be paid on your weekly salary, taking anywhere from 15-40% of your salary.\nAt McDonald's a big mac meal is 15$.\nIf you think that Canada is some kind of poor country, you got your facts wrong.\nDon't come here and say after it's this and that.\nDo your homework if you change country.\nBy 2050, Canada will have 100 million people, so if you want in, then bring something, don't come here empty handed, it's not gonna work for you.

I am against irregular immigration due to the economic consequences. But the funny thing about this video is that the whole world knows that Canada was a vast land with the north American natives being the original inhabitants. That's the Canadian identity. It was colonized and taken over by immigrants centuries back. Just because the former immigrants built conveniences at the cost of the exploitation of natural resources and populated the land does not mean that the history will change. In ON we are paying 28% taxes on wage if you earn less than 100k, we pay another 13% while shopping that adds to 41% in taxes. now to add property taxes to that it comes to almost 50% now with rent prices & cost of living it does not take an economist to find out why some left and lots are thinking to leave Canada.

Canada is a huge country, but only a small portion is suitable for long term residency.
