This is sad if we can’t take care of ourself why are we supporting every ammunition to every other immigrant besides Mexicans, they are just as much allowed to be here as we are so what if they on the other side of water. My advice for Canada:\n1 - obviously LOWER THE TAXES ! ... this is basically a SCAM! ... 30$/h may sounds good while in reality is less than 20$/h because of hidden fees(Taxes) ... YOU ARE SCAMMING PPL!\n\n2 - Its utterly stupid to ask for doctors and architects when you don't have a proper vacancy waiting for them, make the immigration process way easier , as soon as a vacancy represents itself act on it and get the ppl in, don't do all the licensing/registrations ... all that over kill process slow the whole thing down , let them learn by doing !! ... that would get the ball going way easier and way faster! , just make sure immigrants who are willing to do it have a good understanding of english.\n\n3 - Easy up on the registration/licensing process , not everything needs to be perfect , let the doctors, architects and technicians work as Interns Immediately or even Pre-Interns .... that way you would have more doctors and no body needs to wait for 2 years for a fkin CHECK UP! ... that is sooo buzzer and I bit its only getting worse!\n\n 4 - try make organized Social events to allow people to socialize better with each other and make friends or families...\n 5 - for the climate, doing nothing 9 months a year is stupid! and boring! , u must find a way to make inclosed warm facilities for newcomers and residents to enjoy.

This is very biased in favor of Canada. However, I strongly agree with your viewpoint on gun control. Canada comes out on top. When it comes to Healthcare, you omitted that Canada is experiencing a shortage of doctors and the wait time for care is longer and longer. More doctors are moving to the US for better salaries. For education, the US system made it such that with a Bachelor degree you can get a good job. A Masters degree isn't required although good. Meanwhile, in Canada competition in job market makes it that employers hire over qualified employees. With a Masters degree you're likely to occupy a Bachelor degree position. I personally don't see this as a good thing. When It comes to political and religious diversity, it depends on personal preferences. Some people like diversity, others don't. I personally like conservative states. A 2021 report indicates that thirty thousand new immigrants left Canada due to expensive living conditions. At the end of the day, it is like the saying there's no accounting for taste.

When a country already lets in so many immigrants, the least you could do, do it legally. I feel it just makes native people hate immigrants more when they behave like this.

First, I want to thank you for making this video. The health of a country, or the health of an individual which are clearly linked, is dependent on our ability to see ourselves and each other, and make necessary changes to improve in the areas that we lack personally, and as communities in our beautiful country of Canada and other countries as well. Most have no water to drink—not even boiled water and bottled water is available sometimes when it’s brought to reservations . Children don’t have the same access to books. So many thousands of bodies of children taken to residential schools from their parents arms and community for over 160 years yet the deep wounds aren’t given compassion by most people anymore and systemic abuse actively impacts them and therefore all of Us . We are all one whether we see people as other’ or not. We’re humans. \n They’re not seen in media unless it’s a bad story yet we’re only now teaching one mandatory class by non indigenous people. Solution: elders teach their grandchildren languages that weren’t erased by genocide and environmental /spiritual cultural practices and lifestyles before they’re gone by paying first people elders and streaming it into all Canadian classrooms so the children can see a future where they’re valued and all Canadian kids can get a full education and learn accurate history. 21 years ago I immigrated to the US from Europe. I also ran away from a corrupt government and a dying country. But I went through the whole process and later became a US Citizen. People entering the country illegally make my blood boil.

It breaks my heart to know that they are looking for a safer place to live, for a safer place for their children. But in the US they don’t understand how hard it is to make it here as an immigrant. So many US citizens themselves are homeless here. The US is ridiculously expensive, chances are that these immigrants will also end up on the street. The US is not okay right now.

The waiting room was PACKED. I asked about seeing a doctor and was told “ he’s not seeing patients today”. I asked “what about all of these people”? She said “they’re all immigrants and he is seeing them”. I’ve lived here my entire life but I guess he wasn’t seeing Canadians. I find the black people that complain and cry racism haven’t done much with their life. I have friends that are VERY SUCCESSFUL black people and they never talk like this. You just wouldn’t not hear it out of their mouths. And they live in Edmonton . Hard working, decent people they are. I’m facing homelessness come July 1. Ain’t nobody coming to save me. Rent increase of $430 dollars will do that tho. Everyone is struggling to some degree. Instead of further dividing us, we should be coming together to come up with solutions to help each other. Well immigrants will have a relatively tough time. Canada is a diverse place. Live outside the big cities if possible. Speak English at home. Make friends with established Canadians. Be cash rich and house poor. Getting locked into a fat mortgage will just grind your happiness away.

The sad reality is under the last president we would have had a booming economy, surely we could have let in many more immigrants than we have been safely and legally, and even still had the tax dollars to do so. As a child of a first generation immigrant, this is horrible and WRONG. My dad and his family fled Nicaragua in the late 80's when the socialists took over. And it was a real war zone. The government stole their land, homes, and k!lled people they knew. On the way to the airport my dad (who was a small child at the time) saw dead bodies in the street. All of these points are subjective. I think the point system you used and the subjects you talked about are biased. I would have given the USA a point for innovation and job opportunity. There is more opportunities, because more companies choose the USA. We have a higher population so even thought there is more job opportunities in the USA, it is also very competitive. Your video gave a point to Canada for vacation and maternity leave rather than innovation and job opportunities. A lawyer in the USA has a better chance of practicing law than a Canadian lawyer. You gave a point to Canada for healthcare because of life expectancy. However I’d still give a point to the USA for healthcare. The life expectancy is a separate subject. The life expectancy is lower in the USA because of what we eat here. I would give a point to Canada for healthier food. Some are trying to reunite with family, some are fleeing poverty and feel America is the best place to come up but it's those that are fleeing violence that concern me. We can't take on the world in one nation only to have some immigrants globally thumb their noses up at our traditions, rights we had to fight for, housing we need etc. The sad fact is running to America isn't the Answer. We fight the Middle East who will never change but we need to turn our attention to Mexico, the island nations and South America. We are not a very introspective country. Not that it ever makes the news but Mexico is home to 1.6 million Americans that are legally there and anther .5 to 1 million living in Mexico illegally. Remember that Banana Republics were forcefully ( With military action.) made to trade with the USA. Dole fruit being one of the main driving forces of USA interventionism. This act kept most of Central America’s governments weak and destabilized. We destabilized El Salvador all through the 70s and 80s. We destabilized Venezuela when our politics ran counter to theirs. We toppled and incarcerated President Manuel Noriega of Panama and went to war with Panama. Pablo Escobar of Panamawas killed with CIA operatives. Right or wrong our footprint is part of Latin America and the consequences of this still reverberate in todays’ immigration problems.

I am a for immigrants but this need to be fixed. How to fix it, is charge American a $10,000 fine if you hire a illegal. Then make these people apply from home where we have time to check there background and then given a date to come. A wall does not work so we need drones and more people on the boarder. Most of these people do not and we only need so many fruit pickers. Also I think new immigrants should be required to take a class to learn the ways of the country so they do not accidentally cause conflicts and problems.

Wow! That was wild. Here in San Ysidro everything was calm and actually civil. People waited their turn. I live nearby so I saw it with my own eyes. People at las Americas outlet would pass by food to them and the officers gave them the food. I was an immigrant 35 years ago I am now a us citizens and although I love the USA, I will always remember the struggles I had to go through. The hunger, the injustice, the reject and the cultural assimilation, learning a new language, and work work work until I couldn’t no more.
