The problem is that india has a very far right wing party in power n it doesn't care about people of their own country except some...n punjabis dont belong in them that's why....they want to move to friendly canada...it's good on governments side of canada ro be helpful to those in need but their needs to be aome standard to it...with only young n having good qualifications or good job.

Truth! The majority of Indian students came to work and not study. Why? Many had borrowed money to come or had their parents borrow large amounts of money because of the financial pressures. Many became Uber drivers adn working more than the 20 hr limit per week under the table. What is Canada going to do with one million foreign students. If you actually did study and graduate then you have a good education to go home with. You people think that you can come here, not follow the rules and now you want to change the rules just to suit you.

Why were effective systems not put into place to sift through correct immigrants? Is it because we have not had enough people in the country to handle such potential situations? Lack of growth population? And an aging population that is now retired and no well developed educated ppl to handle the new change and system? Does that mean we need more people, man power, to handle such issues politically, economically? Where will we get these ppl with a declining population and the fact that we don’t want immigrants?? There must be a better way but what, should just keep our population at 30 odd million when G7 countries are double or even triple that? It's not the fault of the student's. They pay a lot to get here and they work in the service jobs that many young Canadians do not want to work in if we even have enough native born Canadians. They are victims of the greed of Post Secondary institutions and the mismanagement of the Trudeau government. Take a look at the open immigration policy for people coming from Iran, Syria and Morocco. Last time I looked Iran was not a friend yet we open the door to these countries. No vetting, no security and no age limit. 70 plus years old coming to Canada on Work Permits. This will affect our healthcare. Indian students paid and worked for their chance to live here. Take a look. Investigate the special programs for different countries in the middle east.

We don’t need a bunch of single men entering the country to take jobs from up and coming youth. JT wants them to work in construction. Have you seen any construction fail videos from India? These people don’t have safe working skills. They would be a hazard on the job site.

I want a questionnaire sent out to taxpayers to vote on, how many immigrants should be allowed in Canada and IQ of immigrants with money and skilled people to qualify to come into Canada.

I am dorry to say this, but you were lied to. People immigrate becourse they can. There are countries that are better to live in where you will have more security in life. Immigration these days is about ethnic enclaves. This type of stuff where you live, work, and breathe your own language and culture wasn't a think until the 1990s. Everyone interacted with each other. Now you have people who live the same life they did back home but in another country. I like visiting the US, but don't want to move there. I like the people however cities are not safe. My cousin told me that his small town had 110 murders (WV) . I had just visited Montreal. They have 4.5 million people and had 28 murders that year and were complaining that it's getting crazy. We live longer than Americans and deaths at birth are less. If I had to move to the US, I'd buy a gun. In Canada, to protect my home, I just put on the outside light and lock the door. However, I usually forget to lock the door when I go to bed.

No one called them Palestinians and no one was demanding for there to be their land. \n\nCalling themselves an adapting the term Palestinian was simply a PR move. \n\nFor the Arab Nations to adopt this terminology, is really a testimony to the fact that the Arab Nations don't want this radical brand of Islam in their countries. \n\nThe so-called Arab AKA Palestinians are in fact a more radical branch of Islam that is associated with Iran's version of Islam not the generally accepted practiced Islam amongst the Arab states and their affiliations. \n\nThis is why Egypt doesn't want them, this is why Jordan won't take them back. Because historically speaking most of these Arabs came from Jordan. This is why Saudi Arabia doesn't want them. \n\nThey don't want their extremism to be brought into their culture, into their land and causing problems there.

This explains a lot about why Canada was such a great country with such a bright future but now has so many problems no one wants to live here, not even people born here.

I am a Master electrician and Applied for a Canada work visa, granted immediately... Canada doesn't want people that are going to be a burden to its economy.

Obviously way too many Indians and Muslim. They stick together, hire their own and I find many of them look down on black people and other races. They want you to learn about and accommodate their culture and religion but reluctant to do the same. As a teacher it is difficult to teach Arab men. Literally if you said these things a decade ago which I have people will bc all you racist or xenophobic but thankfully more Canadians are seeing the obvious truth now.

Having a visa does not guarantee you entry. The purpose of the visa is to give you the opportunity to knock on the door and ask for entry. Then the officer has the right to make that decision 'yea or nay'.\nAll of the information you are giving is nothing new.\nI am living here for 35 years and those questions have always been asked. My siblings have been in Canada for 60 yrs...the questions have always been the same.\nIf certain countries' natives have a high rate of illegal overstay, people coming from those countries will be thoroughly vetted.\nThey are lucky the officer let them know upfront, that illegitimate overstay means rejection for the next application. Usually they do not give that advice, and when you apply the next time after overstaying, you are rejected without explanation.\nIf you want to stay longer and you have no schisms going you apply. About half a million people immigrated to Canada in 2023. Mostly Ukrainians, Haitians, Indians, Chinese, Afghanistan, and Nigerians. I guess *some one* wants to live in Canada. PS The average home price in Saskatchewan is currently $324,400... but you have to live in Saskatchewan.

Well I say its hypocrisy. Year after year, the immigration numbers keep increasing, the number of people applying for a PR and also getting a PR from abroad and inside Canada keeps increasing. People say they're fed up and they still continue to live in Canada. Indian here, I applied for a Canada PR and just missed the PR score cut off by a few points, I am from one of the top universities in India, have a computer science bachelors and masters in economics, I am opening my own tech startup here and would have loved to open it in Canada and drive Canada's GDP. \n\nBut you know who get the highest score for PR? Low skilled people who do fake degrees(which are so easy to get it is lame, by the way I can also do it, but it will spoil by education reputation). The immigration system of Canada is a joke, It treats all degrees, jobs and universities as equal. Best of all I was offered to pay $20k by someone to get a Canadian PR. Again I can pay that much but do I want to immigrate to a country whose citizenship is being sold this cheap?\n\nTrust me when I say it Canada is getting the most average and at times the worst people from India. Indian government though should thank Canada for taking all these low skilled people from India that send Canadian Dollars back to India. They take away the middle class jobs, housing, etc in Canada and worse for Canada send back money to India leading to pressure on Canadian currency and reserves.\n\nThe simplest solution is to halt whatever nonsense immigration policy Canada has and only allow three kinds of immigration, people who secure high paying jobs in recognised companies, entrepreneurs that get funding from investors Canadian government recognises and count university scores only from top tier universities. Finally make it super easy for these high skilled people and difficult for anyone else.
