They have a program called the northern ontario immigration project where they have swamped small towns and cities with immigration that have left alot of places with out excess home or jobs for that matter . I have seen many indian officials in india and almost all of them are not quick to anger. Even if they are bad mouthed or accosted . That is level of their training. \n\n Even if they are corrupt, they will not loose cool. They will smile all along. She went for emergency visa and there might be some minor issues with documentation. \nAs the officer , donot have authority to ignore such issues. He would have asked for correction and lady who is already in distress due to fathers passing, must have said something wrong which might be reflective of her experiences when she was indian citizen. She donot know drastic changes happened in past 10-15 years.\n\n.This would have triggered this official. \nFor video, this lady became calm. Collected when official flew in rage.

Only Shortage is in health care and the Shortage in health care systems is not going to be fixed anytime soon. The family doctor shortage isn't going to be fixed. Because the government isn't paying the doctors enough and forcing them to do stuff. The vaccine mandate caused a lots of doctors and nurses to leave Canada to US. And the family doctors are getting payed around 40$ per patient and they have to cover their expenses and cost of running their clinics with that. Alsobthey have to fill up a lot of paper work. They are not getting paid enough to continue this. The system is a failure in Canada

Canada, no longer has Canadians, but has become a country filled with residents. The biggest impact we now see is money made here by immigrants is leaving the country. Generally, every dollar made and spent here generates another 8 dollars in a healthy circular economy. If immigrants also can't afford new homes, they'll just send money back \nhome and leave asap!

Think about it - the hefty tax rates are essentially robbery. When you have the option of driving two hours and cross the border to work under a TN, why on earth would someone stay? Does it make any sense to limit foreigners buying homes in Toronto? This is foreign direct investment that benefits your damn economy, but you cant stand the whining of those who cant afford a home and banned it. of course you are gonna lose the capital. You raise tax again, squeezing more hard-working smart folks away. What a pity! Yes it is harsh. But this is what you get when you forget everything in economics and zero in on equality.

One thing I noticed you left was the fact that temporary workers are just that temporary. They have plans on staying here, because it is too expensive to live and mail order all their money back to their home countries. It is quite lucrative for them to make $15/hr (bunking with 6-8 others in an apartment) if they come from a country where 50cents/day is the going wage back home. But that money leaves the Canadian economy, dragging it down.

Canada will surely havte even more professional labour shortage in specific filed, IT people will leave Canada for USA . Universities have hard time recruiting and maintaining qualified professors bc even 120000 a year for Toronto and Vancouver are no longer sufficient to buy a house.

My husband has been here since 3 years of age for over 50 years now, I have been here for over 30 years and we are leaving in the next year. We are both dual nationality Canadians and are going back to the UK. Trudeau has totally destroyed this once beautiful country. We grew up here in the 70's and 80's, they were the good old days, that Canada is now gone for good!

I met some of these people in Thailand after COVID. There was a small group of Chinese who kept to themselves at our hostel. One day I overheard them in Chinese repeatedly talking about my country Mexico which got me to talk with them. They were quite happy to learn I could speak Chinese but more excited to learn I was from Mexico. They started asking me a bunch of questions about crossing the border into the US to which I bluntly told them I had no idea about and discouraged it. I asked where they got these crazy ideas from and they said that people were posting videos and tutorials of how to cross into the US online. The Chinese government hard handed approach to COVID was what made them leave. They wanted to go both for the freedom and economic benefits but they had a very naive and overly optimistic view of the US. They saw the high wages US workers were making but had no idea as to the incredibly high living costs associated with living there. I tried explaining that there was a housing shortage and that their expectations for life in the US would set them for disappointment but they either didn't believe me or brushed off my criticism. I also tried encouraging them to go to German or Australia instead (places which I feel would be better and easier for them to enter) but they seemed dead set on just going to the US. Unfortunately I don't know where they are now as Wechat is blindly and constantly blocking and deleting accounts in SE Asia without reason......................

What the Canadian government should be concerned with, is that its Canadians who are leaving. And let this be a clue to all new comers, if a country does not respect and take care of its own first, how can you trust it? Its just a matter of time before they screw you! that's a truth you have neglected to see.

Canadians are leaving Canada and that's what should be concerning. As Canadian born and raised now retired, I have finally had enough if the past 3 decades of crap in this country and also found a way to immigrate out of Canada to a country who places its citizens FIRST!
