multicuulturism isn't the problem in Britain for Sikhs, hindus, Budhists, jews or virtually any religious or cultural group you can think of. All of these groups are completely integrated into British society ,and for them and with them Multiculturism works. The problem is with Islam which is a monoculturist monotheistic culture that doesn't mix, doesn't assimilate but does everything it can to introduce creeping Sharia law and Islamic social structures into the host country to creat Islamic conditions wherever they can and have the expectation that we will be assimilated in time into their culture .This is the essential imperative of Jihad which they couldn't separate themselves from if they tried.And in this ,they are a little like the Borg. How can they be expected to assimilation into a pluralist culture is absolutely unislamic it cannot happen don't blame muticulturism ,its not the problem, the pressing problem is the MONOCULTURISM  of Islam. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.Instead throw out Islam send as many muslims as you can back to their country of origin and tear down the mosques.And then the rest of us genuine multiculturists can get on just fine together and become even more unified even more free even more fearless and less divided now that we have expelled the toxic element once and for all.

muslims are portraying an image that they can not follow rules of the country they beg to to be accepted or go there as refugees. In stead of they changing their behaviour they want achange in host country citizens to become like them.

The Canadian government's immigration policies have created racism. When an immigration law is non democratically forced on the people of a country what do you expect? There was no vote in Canada to decide if we wanted to become minorities in our own country. This started with liberal Pierre Trudeau and has been supported by all governments since. Justin may be over the top but this immigration thing has been going on for 50 years and no government dare say anything for fear of losing votes.

If women are really given a higher status in Islam, why is it that under Islam a woman's testimony is only half that of a man's in Sharia court. A Muslim woman does not have the right to divorce if her husband refuses but the Muslim husband can divorce her anytime and can even marry as many as four wives but the Muslim woman can not. A Muslim woman inherits only half that of a man's in her family under Shariah Law. So how can she say that woman are given a higher status in Islam? More importantly, why is it that a Muslim woman who defies her parents especially in forced marriages become victims of honor killings? Why is it Muslim girls are subjected to female genital mutilation in most if not all Muslim countries?

You couldn't even be bothered to learn English in 15 yrs seriously ? You could have become a legal immigrant in that time but now it's everybody's fault America, Canada. You reap what you sow. The decisions you have made are on you. You did this to your family not my country or president.

As a Canadian I feel sad for all the families who cross the border seeking refugee status and don’t get accepted, but at the same time you can’t just come into a country illegally, without proper documentation and with no threat back home and expect to become a citizen.

Why put all that money for a lawyer he should of stayed in his country and made a difference their! He hasn’t seemed to make much effort in becoming a citizen he don’t even speak French or English! 15000 is a fortune in his country why didn’t he build something in his country better!

They did the same thing to my husband. He married a Canadian woman and had Canadian children... But that wasn't enough... Then he was robbed and assaulted in a bad part of town which gave him extra time only because the supreme court wanted to prosecute the assailants who had attacked my husband... If it werent for the attack he would have been deported at least a year earlier... My husband had legitimate reasons to not want to return to his home country (also Honduras) and aside from that he has children and a wife....\n\nThey say there are laws and this and that... That a refugee cannot enter illegally into Canada and become a successful Canadian....that they have to enter legally.... But how can they enter legally when they cannot get a visa in their own country.... Now we are pushing for humanitarian and compassionate grounds... But life is hard in Honduras and we dont know how much longer he can suffer there before he makes the decision to take the long illegal trek to the north once again...

From what I heard coming from other source .Also when I see them at food banks taking home more than $150.00 in groceries from just 1 food bank they goto 9 amonth .their cell phones are top of the line .Clothes and shoes brand name only .Gold jewllery ladys purses $300.00 and up .And they all have cars from 40 thousand and up . One place i never see them is value village .How do they do iit ?I had 2 kids and on welfare a few years back and I had a hard time trying to get some things that we badly needed and could not afford and things were a lot cheaper .The most I ever spent at no frills been on assistance was $75.00 for the whole month .6 years ago and no cell phone gold. or cars .So how these people do it ?oh and by the way I go ti no frills once a week .Those same refugees are there every thursday spending $500.00. on goceries and none of them work .Some time neighbours talk and thats how things are know .Our government is a big lier .We the tax payers are paying for all of these Once a refugee of this country one canot be sent back or deported so if this refugee never finds a job you the tax payer and I will pay for his or her assistance and maybe for a life time .like in the case of gypsies refugees they are all on assistance go to all the food banks rob the community of their belongins their cars items from stores donations in front of churches and stores they dress the best also spend hundreds of dollars on food they shop for clothes at the mall and we the tax payer brake our backs 6 days a week 10 hours a day like me and I cant afford even half of what these people can .So even if they become criminals we have to support them .Some refugee law and rights should be changed to ensure that tax payers are not been taking advantage of .

Canada is becoming less and less tolerant. Once the most welcoming and developed country. Now a country where people hate and promote victimhood.

So, after 15 YEARS as an ILLEGAL (not undocumented) he never learned a word of English and never tried to become a LEGAL immigrant in the U.S.? Well if I was illegal (not undocumented) in any other country and not speaking their language, I would be tossed out immediately. I feel bad for them but as a Canadian, do I want them to become Canadian (prob will not pay income tax cause they won’t make a lot of money, being near poverty line)(and will require lots of help from the government)? Or someone from a rich country that goes through investment method to gain PR card (injecting 100-200k into local companies in cash for pr card)(they will most likely buy expensive stuff from our local economy). Regardless of what your political stance is no country in the world is okay with massive amounts of immigration. Most of these people never assimilate and become productive members of society. No country is capable to support the influx of people, it's unfortunate but true.

For everyone that is angry about the US immigration system, we have some of the most accessible immigration programs in the world. Many countries will never let you become a citizen if you aren't born there and yet we make citizens out of immigrants everyday. You just cant sneak in and hope to wait it out, though. Go through the process, learn the language and assimilate properly.

There doesn't seem to be any gratitude among the Muslims, any humble thankfulness to the host countries at all. Instead there is this attitude that the host country is going to do just what Muslims want them to do, that they're not going to assimilate and try to fit in in any way whatsoever. Canada is a Christian country and the muslim community must denounce Islam and be Canadain or leave. No one wants this country to look like Europe. There are good muslims and you can tell who they are. They are the ones that want to fit in to Canadas values. I would gladly protect any muslim that wishes to truely become a Canadian. Justin Trudeau should learn from other countries mistakes regarding bringing in so many immigrants. Follow our laws & traditions or GET OUT!! Don't expect us to follow your laws & traditions when we go to your countries!! When people go to an islamic country they are expected to follow the islamic laws (eg. women are expected to wear a table cloth on their head - ludicrous!!). Yet the same is NOT respected for American laws - muslims do NOT respect our traditions or they would take off the bed sheets & table cloths while they are in our countries (as we wear them for you in yours). It's only fair. If you don't like it then go back to your country and bring your creepy traditions with you. what we need is an enlightment movement with islam where the individual determines whats best for themselves rather than these literal interpretations. In the U.S. at my school many of the 3rd generation muslim kids my age are becoming integrated. Girls wear hats that conceal their hair and long sleeves that fit within their religions dress code instead of the burka and young men are very open to other people ideas such as alchohol use. The problem is when families control their children, as in any case really, and are less than open to change. As a son of an immigrant the most important step with integration is the elimination of your cultural identity, you leave your values in your own country because you are no longer in an enviorment where your opinion matters or is relevant. If muslims could adjust/conform their rules to fit the conscripts of western civilization everything would be dandy. Adapt to fit the society that you move into, dont try to reform society to better suit yourself expecially when your a foriegner.

Canadians have lived their lives being seen and heard, since the beginning. Seeing the faces of hidden Canadians, and to hide one's face becomes suspicious. Women of the Middle East should be GLAD, if not more, to have found a Country where they can continue to embrace their religion WITHOUT hiding their faces. I used to be a very liberal person for most of my life and tolerant of other cultures and religious faith, like many others I may add.\n However my tolerance is wearing somewhat thin, like many others I may add again, after hearing the same old opinions coming from Muslims repatriated in western societies. \n They come into our cultures on mass and never assimilate into ours, but create their own little pockets of cultural being within our national borders.\n We hear time and again how the indigenous populist must be accepting of them, even though very few are accepting of our culture, using an analogy it's akin to inviting a stranger into your home and give them a safe place to live, food, money and all items that go along with it, and the next thing their sat on your favourite chair with your remote in their hand, even going to bed with your wife!\n We need to wear our head covering it's our right they chant, OK then, afford the same favours to us in your country, let my partner wear her bikini when she's walking down the road, let us drink alcohol, build Christian churches, you get where I'm going with this.\n If it's so great there why do you choose to live here? Islam is not a religion - its an ideology! The basis is in the Quran, Hadiths and in Sharia. Thereby Islam never can be integrated into a western society - thereby muslim immigration should be as little as possible.Listen to them - here we have freedom to use our hijabs etc - but truth is - if or when Islam becomes the majority there will be no freedom: no pork, maybe a slavelike form for Christianity, it will be beheadings, stonings of raped womens etc etc.We welcomed Islam into our countries - we have all seen what it brings.

As a Muslim living in Canada, I don't see the harm in a woman wanting to cover herself, I wear the head scarf myself, but in my opinions I don't feel the need to cover myself to prove I am more modest or a better Muslim.  I believe everyone has free will and has the right in this Country to dress the way that the law has allowed them to.  No one has the right to tell someone how to dress, not even the Prime Minister himself.  Telling a woman what she can and cannot wear is oppression.  I truly believe that if Muslims want to live in Western civilization, then they should refrain from covering their faces because the face is our identity and People have the right to know who you are and what your face looks like.  You cannot vote with a covered face, you cannot cover your face in a passport photo, you cannot cover your face for your driver's licence etc... I am a Muslim woman and I say this.  It truly is a shame how the media is portraying Islam and the Muslim people as a whole, and it truly is a shame that Canadians have become so ignorant.  I see more ignorance and racism in Canada than I do in America and 9/11 took place in America.  If you want to know about Islam, learn about Islam from a Muslim, a Library, google Islam, or offer to spend a few days with a Muslim family for research to get a better understanding of Islam and Muslims.  As a Muslim myself I can understand the hatred and the ignorance because we act according to how we were taught and raised, and yes we have many extremists claiming to follow the Islamic faith.  These extremists are not only hurting Western civilization, but they are also hurting the peaceful moderate Muslims that value their rights and freedoms as Canadians.  I do not appreciate ISIS hijacking my religion, I do not appreciate Hamas or Hezballah hijacking my Religion because I am a very accepting person and a very open minded Muslim and to be defined by media as a problem or a terrorist is very hurtful and a shame.

Islam is becoming a problem in every country on earth it comes to its the same in Africa and Europe and India etc , when are people gonna wake up already and ban it ??

I hope the citizens in these countries put a stop to this in a quick and forceful manner before it balloons so out of control that it becomes way of life there and spreads into the rest of the world.
