No Canadian college should charge more than double the amount paid by Canadians! None private or provincial!

There should be a law where tuition charged shouldn’t exceed twice the amount paid by Canadian students. All private colleges tuition fees should be controlled.

At this point, Canadian economy runs on basis of this exploitation of desperate international students.\n\nThousands of houses in BC and Ontario have mortgages that are being paid by international students living in basements.\n\nCanadian housing market would collapse in a day if we didn’t have these many international students coming in everyday.

Having lived in both Canada and Australia, I can clearly say life in Australia is much better than Canada! Tipping 18% to 20% on every service alone made me mad living there... Less paid leave, 7 months of indoor life, constant comparison with the US when US doesn't even care that Canada exists! My kids are more healthier and lively in Australia...

So I think Canada is ranked 3rd best in the world to live in (I might be wrong but it's top 5 for sure). Your speaking about nothing to do in Canada, Health care concerns, high taxes or cost of living and other things (honestly your video was just hurting my head listing to). While Canada does have issues (like any other country in the world) What you outline highlights the privileged life you are living. You are correct in pointing out that the health care system is flawed, it is not perfect by all means but AT LEAST YOU ARE GETTING HEALTH CARE. Take the stats for example (I had the privilege of going to the hospital in Texas) My bill came to 3000 for a twisted ankle. They charged me over 500 dollars just for walking into the hospital. I'm not knocking that stats, but if you do not have money, you're fucked for health care. Instead of waiting 8 hours to see a doctor, you're now on Web MD trying to diagnose yourself. You are bitching about high taxes, how do you think Schools, Police and fire services, Emergency service hospitals etc etc etc get paid? through wishes and hope? You are again welcome to go anywhere else and enjoy whatever bs they have going they might have low taxes in other parts of the world but your going to have to pay for certain services you are taking for granted here. As Cost of living, if you live in Toronto or BC yes the cost of living is high, but at the same time, the average household income is high as well. I'm sorry minimum wage in most of Canada is roughly 15 dollars an hour, and the average incoming for most provinces is over 100k. I'm not sure what else to say on that subject :D As for things to do, seriously, stop living under a rock. Please go and travel Canada, to name a few things you can travel to Niagara, Go to Banff, Visit hot springs or enjoy any of our national parks. Not to mention all the multicultural festivals that take place. I guess what I'm trying to say here is, Canada is flawed and has its issues. However, It's a beautiful country and is a gem of a place to put roots down. I'm sorry you guys didn't feel that way.

I was born and raised in Canada. My family immigrated in the 70s. Growing up I was proud to be Canadian but after living in other parts of the world I can tell you, Canada isn't it! \n\nFirstly our Prime Minister is a puppet he works for the Commonwealth and whatever they say goes, they profit off all of your hard work. \nThey keep you sick so you rely on the health care system. Medicate you instead of solving the problem. Doctors are exhausted, rude and over worked, emergency rooms are a disaster and if you book an appointment to see your doctor...be sure you're waiting at least a week. If you go to a walk in clinic you risk getting a doctor that seems like they paid for a fake degree.\n\nYou know when you go to a mall in one town and then hear about a mall in another town that has really cool different things??? Ya, not here! Everything is monopolized! Same stores everywhere you go. there's a mall in Toronto called Vaughn Mills mall, when I was in Calgary they have an exact replica just a different name. Small businesses are hard to keep because everything is so expensive. There needs to be more indoor things for people to do in the winter. \n\nWhoever said Canadians are polite, has never been to Alberta!!!! We had a 13 year old girl call a male teacher a pedophile for pushing a little girl on the swing. He quit on the spot, because now he's worried for his career. Yes, I love Canada but the taxes are crazy! We only visited and paid multiple taxes on items, was crazy. Eight hours to see a doctor in ER isn't bad, here in America you can be in the ER for 24 hours or longer depending on why you are there and which hospital you go to, so please don't go to a county hospital, I have left went home or to another one. We learned that the cost of living is much higher and the cost of food, especially if you eat out, and the cost of gas was way higher than in America.Thanks for the information, very informative.

That would be a sad place to live, because there will come a time when you get older you need something paid for because you can't work sun up to sun down, if most of your money is going to taxes it is hard to get ahead one would have to take some money and pay for land outside of the country to have a place to go one day in order to live, but I thought that place was a part of England rule, maybe that is why taxes are so high.

Got forbid you get sick in America you go bankrupt. You get paid more in the states... lol some states minimum wage is 5 to 7 dollars. Every country has a staffing problem in medical field. I’m in the US and our paid and expensive healthcare system gets us the same treatment. Yes the racism is very high here. \nMany people come here for a better life but that is very hard to find now days in Canada. Governments here, on every level have let Canadians down . They stopped investing in affordable housing. Great idea to speak out. However, it's the same everywhere. Its a cyclical effect, get paid, pay your bills and if there's extra you save. You need to think how to break out of that and take control of your income. When you're making money and positive impact in your community no one cares if you're black or have accent. I used to reside in Canada for years and I now leave in the US, when it comes to healthcare you shouldn't be complaining about being in the emergency room for 8 hours. You will wait for 8 hours here in the US and end up losing your home because of the medical bill after the 8-hour wait. Yes, I agree with you on taxation but you get great schools, good roads, safe neighborhoods, and free healthcare and all these have to be paid for collectively. Can you imagine if you were not to be taxed but instead get monthly bills for all these services?

same in USA except no minimum paid vacation maybe 5 days to 2 weeks max and for some companies none at all..if tou take a vacation you dont get paid...aside from the weather, better tax treatment in certain US states(I live in Florida) and people are friendlier in the US..healthcare is mafia run very unaffordable so you must have insurance and even then its very expensive...every system has its weaknesses..ideally work in US get paid in US dollars and spend summer and autumn in Canada...then theres double taxation so you want to make sure you are in a position where you make you money in the States so you dont get taxed from Canada as well

Excellent video! Agree! I am Canadian born but some of these points I can even relate to, especially how hard they make it to accumulate wealth. We are taxed to death - our income is taxed and then we are taxed again when we buy goods. It seems like they do everything they can to prevent wealth building. The retirement saving plan….is even a rip off when you consider you give your money to the government to get a reduced value years later after inflation…..almost feels like I’m a slave and the kings and queens have just put on suit and ties. I think higher officials in government are way over paid…securing ridiculous pensions and getting huge raises on tax payer money.

I was born in Canada and left in 2012 to the United States. I have a better life in the United States. Also I love the paid health care in America, it’s much better. It works for me but may not work for everyone.

Try going to America for their health care, you pay health insurance, but have to wait ages at emergency, you may get an op faster but if your plan does not cover all your costs you will need to get a loan, some people have to sell their homes. Yes they let you have a holiday or a sick day off but you don't get paid. Looking over the fence and chasing after the pot of gold has its downfall and believe me if home was a safe place, then staying would have been your best option.

Listening to you guys I can already see why you're not successful. You're english isnt the best, you have a negative mindste and you feel like the country owes you something. I got 50k job a month after I came to canada just because I had a positive mindset. And immigration is very difficult in us, its not easy. Also why do u have a high phone bill ? The fact is the US has the highest inequality among wealthy nations. And the worst health care, they place 20 out of 20 in the OECD. I listened to your chat. I did not appreciate some of your reasons for why people leave Canada. First of all life is what you make it. There are lots of things to do if you are interested in being active. Canada is a very beautiful country and there are lots of places to visit and enjoy. \nYou need to educate yourself about what people are paid in the US and Canada. The minimum wage is a lot higher in Canada. I suggest that you leave Canada and then you will appreciate what a wonderful country we live in. Go to Trinidad for example and buy groceries ...pay over a thousand dollars a week for food, then tell me that food is too expensive in Canada. (25.00 for a box of cereal)!Go to a hospital there and you will wait for a whole day just to be seen. Yes, we have a shortage of medical doctors and nurses here, but they are trying to fix that. Sure we pay taxes, but if you or someone in your family needs a heart transplant, a knee replacement or whatever, you will get it FREE in the hospital, and while you are in the hospital, your bed will have sheets and pillow cases. Drive your car on the roads in Trinidad and the potholes will ruin your tires, not to mention the frame of the car. Your taxes also maintains parks, roads and bridges for the safety and enjoyment of everyone. The government has no control over the weather, so complaining that it is too cold or rainy is up to mother nature. During the lockdown I am sure you received money from the government to help you, everyone did. Do you think other countries paid their people money to help them get through this crisis?? Canada business system prefers the big franchises businesses that have millions of dollars. If you have a small shop or restaurant get beaten by the big corporations that has franchises. the food costs are high and when selling u just cant sell for a better profit that can actually make you money. The Chinese and Indians knows how to sell little many items at a low cost just to be on a very tinny profitable way to keep on going. The Multi big paying makes money in Canada not the small business immigrants come and create. Those business don't built wealth because the big corporations are pushed by the Gov more in creating jobs and paying the big corporate taxes that in turn the taxes help support the social programs for those that cant work and also providing the basic needs to those that needs it through the taxes paid. In many African states many of the individual business that strife and create wealth because there isn't too much huge corporations that competes with this small business like the first world nations. In SA for example we have seen an explosion of many migrants going there creating small business and striving better than they will be in Canada. The taxes are high in Canada that's true u cant be rich sorry u will work until you lose your hair f not your hair turns white in a very short time due to too much stress and worries. Canada is good for social programs it takes care off those that don't' work if you work forget about getting rich but supporting those that don't work through the allocated taxes. Canada and the first world nations supports Big corporation and Franchising not really a fan of small business even when they are here they just don't create huge profits to think they will make it. In fact when the economy falls those shops easily shut down entirely and when they do reopen they barely make profits. I have seen Nigerian, Ghanaian small shops with Ethiopian and Jamaican business.

I don't know why people complain about taxes and all these deductions on incomre....every country has taxes. It's just that it's easy to avoid taxes in some countries than it is in Canada. So you never feel the bite.. In my country, we pay 30% income tax, 18% VAT, 5% NSSF(The rest is paid by the employer), 12% internet duties etc etc..... I can list a lot. ...What saves us in my country is that food is relatively cheap, otherwise taxes are everywhere

So the system is such that when you get in, all the free benefits is paid by someone hence, it's a circle. When you make so much, you have to plough it back into the system to help other people.

That’s why the government wants digital money. To keep people from making cash they don’t pay taxes on.\nIn truth, I am grateful that my Mom’s surgery for her heart and cancer treatment were paid for with tax money.\nI am good with taxes as long as it means everyone gets free healthcare BUT it should also pay for a lot more healthcare staffing.

I can understand your contributions and I'm glad you shared it. But I paid tax in Nigeria and I almost pay for everything here. I pay for my child school fees, health insurance, security (transportation is hell here)) and I don't even earn that much. I will rather stay in a place where almost 50% of my responsibility is being taking care of by the government using my taxes. By that I will know my tax is working for me. The good thing is that most of this western countries helps with unemployment which I don't see here.
