If you understood the s*** that was going down in Venezuela, you would be fighting for these people to have Asylum here. Do you know how much of Texas is unoccupied? Like SO much of it. It's not a very densely populated state. It can take years for Asylum Seekers to go through the process legally. Don't they deserve some level of safety while the process is sorted out? And instead we keep instituting policies that make things even more difficult and create even more tension. Nobody is fully in the right here necessarily, but people really need to start approaching this with much more empathy and Humanity. If you guys really have such a problem with all the migrants being in Texas, there's always Wyoming. Nobody lives in Wyoming. There's plenty of space in Texas, of course, since most people live around the Metropolitan areas.... But Texas isn't always known for its warm fuzzies. Wyoming is just Cheyenne and a bunch of wind. This has been happening on mexicos southern border for months now. Mexicos president is wayyyy too nice to kick them out like the US is. And most of these people are stealing homes, kicking locals out of their homes and taking over small cities in Mexico. It's not usa problem neither Mexicos problem. It's the southern countries problem. They don't come here as peacefully as most immigrants that come from Mexico. So many people have already been hurt by all these people just barging into Mexico and people in Mexico are suffering for this same reason.

This is sickening to see, i feel bad for those that came here the correct way and got their citizenship. Ive read alot of comments that say well if the usa didnt have such stringent rules to become a citizen, then this wouldnt happen. Thats like applying for a job without giving them any information about yourself, and expecting to get that job with no experience. Is it so bad these people should learn about our history and culture, need to be bi lingual and go through the entire vetting process? The answer is they should because if we went to anyother country, we would be expected to learn about their culture. You cant even live in cananda unless you have a certain amount of money and takes years to become a citizen, why shouldnt our border be any different? The fact of the matter is our government needs to wake up, put politics aside and address the issues. I have no problem with people coming here, it they need to become legel and pay taxes like everyone else. We are sick of paying for people that do nothing to contribute to our economy. McDonalds something most American people know …for one person only it can be around 15 - 20 bucks, in Venezuela, and I think minimum wage rn is around 6.15 bucks and if it’s good it can be around 20 - 30 A MONTH, now apply this formula to EVERYTHING, housing, bills, expenses and I think things in Venezuela for a little bit better not that long ago,so it was worst than what I just told you, imagine you finish college you have somehow of a decent life and for things you don’t understand and no one advise you of, next week your job, money is not even half of the value it had last week, imagine if it was you and your family, your kids…I don’t have kids but I know my mom would’ve done anything for trying and give me not even a luxurious life, but a kinda decent life, and I know most of people would’ve done the same, and not only for your kids, also your mom, dad, sisters, brothers and even YOURSELF…again, I’m not saying this is correct or it’s not I’m just saying at the end our surrounding make us do whatever we are doing….I get you not being okay with this, but try to be comprensible and not go straight into hate for this people. \n\nUnfortunately I wouldn’t imagine anything to solve this problem and I hope something better comes for the entire world right now …but I just doubt it…

We need more leaders like President Bukele of El Salvador and AMLO of Mexico. President Bukele incarcerated thousands of MS-13 gang members without trial. They are all in jail for life. This act kept most of Central America’s governments weak and destabilized. We destabilized El Salvador all through the 70s and 80s. We destabilized Venezuela when our politics ran counter to theirs. I've worked in the construction industry for 35 plus years.
