Alright. The median age in Canada is 41years. That means in 20 years, majority of the population would be close to retirement, which also means that if a younger population is not 'brought in' it would be disastrous for the economy. That being said, the government can limit the number for people immigrating from certain countries. If you need more Europeans, you need to create a social support net better than Europe. Its purely logical. \nIf you do not want more Indians, you limit the number of Indians coming to Canada. Its simple. Hating them for who they are doesn't help. And same goes for the foreigners - In Rome, do what the romans do. Leave your ways at the door, relearn, adopt and adapt, else you will have the likes of Faulkner make you hate him for pointing the difference. Btw, he also forgets a few generations back his family was an immigrant too, who murdered the First Nations of this country. Not to remind him of what led to the Truth and Reconciliation Day. \nNow, that's not a justification for immigrants to be in your ways, its just to remind everyone that together as a society we have an opportunity to create something beautiful. Respect someone else's space, learn the new that comes your way, be it culture, history, anything. Pride is not bad as long as it inclusive.\nHere is something else to consider, wherever you get the 'immigrants' from, which English speaking country has the subset of non-radically religious and (comparatively) low crime population?

LMAO not the Pakistani Canadian blaming Indians. Anyhow, crimes are committed by poor who lack opportunities or are homeless. Immigration numbers seem a problem because of pathetic macro economic and infrastructure mismanagement. I dislike most Liberals and NDP like every sane person but Conservative hasn't done much better in managing Ontario. \n\nWhen there is lack of business growth, when there is lack of policing, things get worse for an unemployed society. It's literally policy making weakness that makes a community a target, and divide people amongst each other. And for all the hate Indians get for living crowded (which I don't think anyone should for that matter, for life in comparison would still be better back in India), at least Indians aren't homeless, which in itself prevents a lot of them falling prey to drugs and crime. Check crime stats and you'll see the Indian community performing way better (as in less crimes) than many others.

It is not just immigrants as I do not believe they are the biggest issue, Illegal immigrants for sure and that is totally on our border services/government. The bigger issue in my opinion are refugees and asylum seekers. We can not take in these massage numbers of people from war torn countries and not expect our crime raid to sky rocket. Nor can we continue to bring others of cultures that go against our believes. We have seen the drastic rise in hate, intolerance of different believes which was not here before. We simply do not have the capacity for support them in any manner when we are failing the people that live here.

I really hate when people say there is no culture in Canada!! How so? Of course Canada doesn't have long history but still Canadians need to protect their identity. As a Canadian born here, I think the foreign students are the tip of the iceberg. We also have to consider people that came in, and still do illegally including a criminal element. We also have a weak government that brings in folks from war torn countries, and they are not always that countries best people. Look at the Palestinian situation right now, where Most other Arab countries do not want these people entering their countries. We have to ask ourselves why that is, and is it good for Canada to bring in people where the entire Arab world says Nope! I think the entire situation in Israel and Gaza is terrible, and at the same time with some groups even the Children are raised to Hate and or be Violent. So if we are bringing in people who Hate and Support a terrorist organization, we can pretty much guess what’s going to happen inside Canada. In fact we are already seeing the hate and division. They can’t figure out this is NOT Israel, and there are no wars in Canada currently. However if they continue down this path of Hate and violence, Canada could become another battle ground. Including some of these groups who have beef’s back in their own countries! If your hell bent on war, go back and defend your own country, and don’t try that crap in Canada.

Open borders is crazy for so many reasons... not enough housing, not enough infrastructure, and not enough healthcare, schools and jobs. Each person gets over $200 daily. Crime is increasing. People are bringing hate. Many are economic migrants. Why? The current government in power is listening to the UN about migration. Do they think these migrants are actually improving the economy? ? Do they think these people will vote for them?

As an Indian (not living in Canada), I want to beg Canadians to stop calling them Indians. Most of them are from just 1 region of India. Don't know why you are interested in people from this 1 region only instead of providing visas to diverse group of Indians. Secondly, as you have seen recently, most of these people are anti-India and hate India and want their home region to get separated from India even if they are not living in India, they want to comment on India's sovereignty. All the racists stereotypes that you guys have are originating from this 1 community only who themselves don't think they are Indians. Please look at the statistics of any law enforcement body, e.g., the Toronto police department,FBI etc , add any year within the last 20 years. \nFor example, according to Toronto police statistics for the years 2020-2022, there were, 42, 55, and 63 hate crimes commited against Jews (hughest) 25, 47 and 48 committed against blacks, and only 4, 14, and 11 hate crimes committed against Muslims during those same 3 years. \nThat numbe of hate crimes committed against Jews is going to be off the charts after October 7th, but even so, in general hate crimes against Jews are blacks are the highest. i grew up in Brampton 20 years ago, a child of Caribbean parents. Whenever I go back I can say Yes, Brampton has changed over the years. I also remember that white/Canadian people were always the population struggling with substance abuse- particularly in the downtown area. Conflating the influx of indians with the downturn of white canadians seems to just fuel animosity and scape goat the issue onto a population of people that's probably just trying to seek a better life. why not ask the government to provide better social programs for those in need rather than fueling hate ? Why not investigate the structural issues that have contributed to this situation i.e. politicians gaining votes by doing xyz, or look into what people may be facing in the homelands? That would be a better piece of journalism imo. I think this video is highlighting this issue in ways history has seen before... can't we do better?
