If it’s ruled that he’s to be deported(which I agree with) then deport him. If he wishes to appeal on whatever grounds, he can make his appeal from his home country. I personally think that any immigrant found guilty of a serious crime should be deported, but Canadian citizenship prevents that I believe…which is why I don’t think citizenship should only be granted to those born in Canada, leaving the option to deport on the table if you engage in nefarious activities. \nThe fact that he has children born that require health care that’s “only available here” isn’t a factor. When a local store got taken over by Indians, they tend to only hire fellow Indians and leave nothing for Canadians. I live in Bangladesh. If I want private healthcare, I can book an appointment today and possibly see the doctor this evening for $5-$7 per session. The really really good doctors? The professor / vip level ones? $10-$15.\nIf I need to do tests, I'll get em done the same day and probably get the results the day after.\n\nThe government ones? ¢10 but then I would be standing in a line for like 2 hours.\nIn my hometown alone there are 35-40 private hospitals. It's a suburb-ish kinda town. There is also one semi-giant 500 bed government hospital. Most services are free there except AC cabins.\n\nI personally don't wish to go to Canada.

I just want you guys to know that I live in a 3rd world country in Southeast Asia and make about $500 per month. I pay $100 a month for a 100 SQM room (I personally know the owners of the property), I don't pay carbon taxes, I spends less than $100 on food per month.

Every third person that you meet in Canada in 20 years will be from South Asia. Most of us are economic immigrants and came here to live a happy peaceful prosperous life and contribute to the economy in the form of taxes. If a group of kind-hearted people start a new religion. This new religion set up a rule that all followers of the religion must carry an automatic gun or CP at all times. The reason given in this new religious book is to protect fellow humans from aggressive gunmen. Will govt allow them to board planes or go to schools, universities, hospitals, and public places? will all these automatic weapons be under freedom of religion or law of land? \n\nI am not sure if people agree but religion is based on beliefs and laws on experience. Commonsense tells that beliefs are personal and should be kept in personal space.\n\nThe university should not have apologized but should have expelled the person to carry a weapon in public places.\n\nThink of a gang that classifies them as religious and carries knives or swords in public places. Further, this is not the medieval age where you needed to carry weapons because you believed in a rule written 500 years back based on that time's need.

This is heartbreaking for me personally. I’ve followed all the rules, provided excellent marks for both English and French, spent tens of thousands of dollars and seven years of work experience to get my PR. They are not Canadian citizen's, what entitlement. Our country should not allow other countries people to come to Canada for school then think they can just stay. All international student's should have to go back to their countries by law. If they want to apply from their own countries go ahead as they then will have to have back ground checks like any other person who wants to come to Canada.

I respect people who comes from other countries and working their ass off. Maybe too many around but at least they are hard workers .. I have never seen homeless,drug addict indian person to be honest.What I witness is, some people don't appreciate that they are priviliged to born in such a good country like Canada ,but people who is coming from poor and corrupted countries absolutely knows what is to be priviliged and they appreciate it.Also, you cannot deny a visa because they are coming from India. You can be sure someone in government, a system created centuries ago by wealthy parasites to control the people, has told them they do have rights. I worked driving coach with a man from Egypt who was a lawyer, he was told by immigration he could be a lawyer here, our laws are probably very different than Egypts. Our education systems from kindergarten through to postsecondary education and spending it on the Canadians that were here. We've turned our post-secondary institutions in Canada into diploma Mills where you know your VA and your you know postgraduate degrees or you know they're worthless. However the government and the education system grew into a very profitable industry grinding out worthless degree after worthless degree for foreign students who thought when they got these degrees with 50% of Canadians have. People have to realize that post-secondary education is a big business so they're going to sell you a dream that's going to cost you a lot of money what I suggest is when YouTubers want to do something on Canada do some proper research let people know that we really do have quality post-secondary education system but you have to look at when you graduate those jobs going to be there to pay that large salary does White collar jobs are disappearing almost gone I purchase an app for my company with small company about 10 employees this inexpensive app alone has taken my office staff from 7: to 2: I have a 10 Red seal tradesman tradeswomen these 10 highly skilled trades people earn between 125 and 145,000 a year in gross salary and I need five more of these highly skilled people and I can't find them cuz everybody's running in to get a useless postgraduate degree. Traditional White collar you know middle management upper management jobs they've been gone for years everyone's think of themselves as an independent contractor. Canadian I would say are the worst stereotypes I have encountered so far after being in Europe, USA, China, Middle East etc. once I tried to be Canadian resident and experienced a heart trenching straight behaviour from immigration, lawyers and officials. They don’t seem to possess a simple wisdom or foresight a progressive nation must have. They are stuck in a tunnel vision of being nicer or western or straightforward people without thinking out of the box incapable of accepting a little change or flexibility. Being a technical person I obviously got panicked to be a part of that system with hopeless outlook, so decided not to be part of it when millions were dreaming of Canada.
