Plan fails terribly, don’t recognize the failure, continue with terrible plan until damage is irreversible. When questioned on policies or data on its effects, Liberals don’t even answer questions, they literally don’t answer the questions. Any people from around the world who want to know why Canadians are so displeased with their current government, please watch Trudeau parliament debates. It will make you wonder how this guy got voted in. Once the liberals realize their policies are failing, they change policies and blame opposition for their failures.\n\nIt’s interesting that the ideology of Liberals in Canada is supposed to be the middle ground for most people who agree with the left and the right political policies. Unfortunately they have gone so far left they make the NDP look central.\n\nImmigrants are always welcome in Canada and should be, but we do ourselves and new immigrants no favours if we don’t plan properly. Put people into stressful situations there will be turmoil. The water is not boiling in Canada yet, but you can see the bubbles starting to form.

As a Canadian, me and most of the people I know is fed up with this mass immigration, and there isn't nearly enough new constructions to sustain this which creates massive housing inflation. Wages are stagnating also in part because of this massive immigration but also economic policies from our governments that are very anti businesses and pro big governments. Our taxes keep increasing and so is our deficit and yet I feel like we have less and less services in return. My country is trending in a very shi tty direction and this is why we are probably about to switch from a very left-progressive leaning Liberal and NPD party coalition to the conservatives.

And the nail in the coffin for housing, ZONING LAWS! Look into the restrictions put onto those wanting to build houses, towns, cities. It's insane, and makes it nearly impossible to build ANYTHING but single-family suburbs in the middle of nowhere. No work/industry nearby, nothing accessible without a car. The most beautiful places in Canada, and the most enriching to live in (Old Toronto and Montreal for example as well as countless small towns) could NEVER be recreated. Although, Old Toronto is actively being destroyed because of new zoning laws. In Europe, new developments are built for less money, yet Canadian ones are cheaper with houses practically being made out of cardboard. Europe also invests in cities with reliable public transit and are much safer to walk and cycle in without huge roads and highways everywhere. This allows for much denser housing and affordable communities. Canada is being eaten by Capitalism and pretending to be a Socialist government, the worst of both worlds.

As a born and raided Canadian I'm sick of this. I have 3 jobs, none of which have hours for me in my professional field, my bosses are hiring on foreign workers to do the work i can do. Our public spaces are overrun by people who stick together and refuse to acknowledge our culture, and have no plans of assimilation. I am 26 years old, educated, out of work, damn near broke, the thought of owning a home seems damn near impossible here in british columbia. I am drowning in bills for my vehicle, rent, gas, groceries and tax all of which are through the roof. Enough is enough when will our government take care of their own rather than bringing in foreigners and tending to them as if they're the top priority. We have a drug epidemic and our streets are full of Canadian people who are dying and openly doing the worlds most lethal substances in public spaces. Im fed up, frustrated, stressed out, depressed and scared. i want to have a succesful life and raise a family like my parents, grandparents great grandparents and so on but with the current state of the economy im struggling to pay bills and eat healthy food. what is this world coming to. we need change. \nFuck trudeau

I am an Indian student in Canada and I can say that the government here is very corrupt. You will rarely find student over here who came here to study. Many students can't even communicate in English. It is not safe place for Hindus. The main reason of racism over here our community doesn't want to adopt their culture and not follow the rules. Canadian government brought many below average students here and that is the main reason for unemployment.

As a Canadian living in Canada for 20 years. This is 100% truth when it comes to Canada's medical care system. Furthermore, the issues with drugs and housing shortage to 100% true. One thing that Canada has for itself is the clean air and nature in national parks ( to get there you will need a car and DL). The other issue that would have mentioned is the house buglery, auto thefts, and gun shoots in schools, that the police in Canada no longer are willing to address. Lastly, it's critical for everyone to comprehend that the government itself knows that it's bad so they started a government sponsored suicide program for being able to get timely medical care. For example after waiting for 3 years for a knee replacement surgery, the doctor left the province and my mom was told that she can opt for medically assisted suicide if the pain was unbearable.

I was just saying to a friend recently Indians have degraded the standards of everything, including the banks, the food industry, and everything they can put their hands on. Cibc and Scotiabank used to be open on the weekends now you can't even go there to do businesses all becuase they have degraded the standards of the banks ihop food is way below standards the only things they are doing right is building decent houses. We love immigrants *and* diversity in Canada. All my friends are immigrants or children of immigrants. \n\nHowever, importing exclusively Indians is *not* diversity. It is not diversity when it is all a singular group. Doing this has created division among Canadians unlike I have ever seen before. \n\nOur government is exploiting these people and using them to perpetuate the housing crisis by cramming 10+ of them in a 2br that is owned by a corporation and rented to students with no legal protections. Our landlord/tenant bureau is *so* overwhelmed that these exploited students have literally no recourse - their visas expire before their case is even heard. \n\nBRING BACK DIVERSITY. Every immigrant needs to go through the proper process not the easiest way. We paid large amounts of money to enter Canada and we were interviewed to be accepted. That should be the standard. Over population is a problem and straining the health care system and the housing system. Vote the right government in to balance things out. If you are a Canadian you can protest because you pay taxes, but if you have not been here too long, sorry, you have to respect the system and not change it!

Its crappy, I'm at the point in my life where me and my fiancée are making more money then we ever have, but its going no where. We need immigrants, we do not need this much. I go on tiktok and there are tutorials for people coming into this country on how to obtain free food, like from food banks and what not, spite the fact we have minimum funding requirements for students coming here. It sucks, because the minimum isn't high enough for somebody to actually live off, and its taking food away from desperate Canadians who really need it. Some of my best friends are immigrants, and it sucks to try to speak up about it, only to be bashed as a bigot or xenophobic. I'm not either of those things, we just have a HUGE issue caused by a massive influx of people. Its not the people's fault, its the failure of our government. I have no issues with anybody who wants to live a better life, I have massive issues with a government letting new immigrants experience a mediocre, and overpriced, life at the cost of everybody else's life getting WAY more expensive and difficult. My rent for a 2bd apartment in 2014 was $770 all included, Grocery bill was about 170 every two weeks. That has all tripled in the last 10 years, Legit tripled. *Only mentioning those two, because they have gone up the most, but EVERYTHING has gone up. (about 2-3x) Its crazy to think when I was making 8-10 dollars less an hour, I had more money, it went MUCH further.

Instead of taking advantage of a class of working age people who can immediately start paying taxes we have allowed capitalists who own both parties with their lobbyists to extract wealth from rent farms and using their monopolies to overcharge us for basic needs under the guise of inflation. If this were true and you have to raise prices by 25%, how come they dont also raise wages by 25% if their profit and overhead have increased proportionally? Increased profits during a slow economy with the pandemic is so blatant whats happening. We are being robbed by long established canadian nepotism families that run our government and point the finger at immigrants. Economies are supposed to scale with population, in the case of immigrants many dont require the necessary fortune we spend on native born peoples public education so they are able to work. We spend nothing on integration efforts our schools abuse them charge the massive international fee. These are rich people coming here with families capable of paying the additional 10-20k a year being international students, and we are not benefitting from this extremely successful industry only the rich are. Imagine if we could be proud of the fact our education is so good people will pay our country double just to get it. Squandered opportunity on every side.

As a Canadian I agree that Canada is no longer a great place to immigrate to. I disagree that it is due to racism (my parents were immigrants) but now the cost of living is too high due to shortage of housing supply and inflation. Salaries have not kept up. Immigrants do have a much harder time gaining employment in high skilled jobs especially if their English is not PERFECT. And local governments have not prepared the infrastructure to handle the massive amount of immigration that the government has accepted over the years. Our schools and health care systems are overwhelmed and stressed to the point where 1/4 of people don’t have a family doctor and getting into even a public school has become competitive. \n\nThis is not the Canada I grew up in or thought my kids would grow up in. It’s hard even for Canadians to survive and immigrants coming here without a 6-figure salary job will struggle to survive.

The problem is with how immigration is set up. The general population is ok with immigration as long as most people coming in adapt at least somewhat to Canadian culture while integrating their own.\n\nI'd say thats what Trudeau had/has in mind cause thats what Montreal is like. \nBut its like that cause the Quebec government focuses on secularism & French Nationality which creates a sort of blended dynamic that's still uniquely Quebecois.\n\nThat doesnt work so well in other Provinces.\n\nAlternately, the goverment may be trying to turn Canada into a true melting pot, which would create a different Canadian culture and identity than we currently have. \n\nHowever, that only works out when you bring in an equal # of people from different Countries wnd ethnicities.\n\nWhat we have right now is a system that seems to bring a certain percentage of immigrants per Country. Using that math, India and China will always send out more people as they're the most populous and crowded. Hence why Eastern Canada has a lot of Indian immigrants and Western has a lot of Chinese.\n\nThe government will need to get a handle on it and at least even it out if not also slow the flow, lest we risk a rise in xenophobia/isolationism and racism which has already started to make the rounds.

We *better* pay attention. \nEurope is having immigration issues and even the Nordic countries are getting hostile. I don't totally blame the immigrants, they are wanting to leave a terrible environment, but the host government should set the tone. They should screen applicants, set limits, and have assimilation rules such as being tested for the native language, having the new people take history courses of the host country, etc. \nFor many reasons, much of the planet is becoming harsh to live in --- drought, genocide, employment, war, etc. It is going to continually get worse, and nobody has a legit, big picture plan to improve things. \nAnd this only deals with one issue, but there are MANY. We should be alarmed. Panic is one mis-step away.

I am watching this video from Canada and I have 4 words for you - “DO NOT COME HERE!!!” Everything that was mentioned in the video is absolutely true. Canada is facing many problems, unaffordable housing, broken healthcare systems, homeless people, drugs. I am always scared to walk in downtown at night when I’m returning from work. And the worst part is, you cannot even defend yourself here if a homeless person is attacking you. If you do that you will be prosecuted saying that why did you touch that homeless guy and it is a violation of human rights, which is stupid. So does that mean that we should just let a random homeless person kill us?? How does that make sense?? My friend who was having an asthma attack had to sit in the emergency room for 8 hours. If something would have happened, who would be responsible? And the list just goes on. And what does the Canadian prime minister do about that….? Let a guy be a girl and a girls become a guy? What does that even mean??? I have nothing against the LGBTQ people. That’s your life do whatever you want, I don’t care. But there are so many other issues going on in the country and the government is focusing on allowing people to change their genders !! \nAnd the worst part is that a portion of the tax we pay from our hard earned money goes to the homeless people. And what do they do? Buy drugs and start attacking random people. Canada has always been a peaceful, prosperous, progressive and a good governance oriented nation. In the recent decade, too much of woke, radical left wing ideology has penetrated into policy and public institutions that have led to Canada’s current day crisis. \n\n2. This country has always welcomed talented immigrants who are willing to integrate with the Canadian society, embrace its values, traditions and culture. However, in the last 10 years, too many refugees and reckless mass immigration has put an incredible pressure on the economy, infrastructure and social cohesion. \n\n3. The political leadership has allowed reckless mass immigration without caring to boost the economy/infrastructure to handle the volume and hence the sorry state of affairs. \n\n4. Too many immigration consultants of Indian origin engage in outright VISA frauds (yes, this is unfortunately true) leading to ppl coming in as a tourist and then seeking asylum or converting their visa into a student visa (55 year olds from Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat coming here as students).\n\n5. A significant chunk of people coming from India (esp. Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat) seeking a permanent residency in Canada are using student visas as a back door to claim eligibility for PR/citizenship. This is downright abusive and was never intended to be used like this. This has fueled a fake college diploma industry into Canada where “2-room” colleges have sprung up along the highways giving out fake diplomas and certifications for easy cash. Thus, the students, the immigration consultants and the fake diploma issuing colleges are all getting benefited from this scam. The internet is filled with such sting operations by Canadian officials exposing Indian students/immigration consultants. Do check them out. \n\n6. Unlike the past, the recent batch of immigrants in the last 3 years or so, make no effort at all to integrate into Canadian society and abuse the system, create law and order problem, drive recklessly, talk loudly in public spaces, litter everywhere, cross railway tracks like they do in India, steal liquor from stores, shamelessly collect food from food banks (as a way to save on groceries) that are meant for the elderly, disabled or those that are in utter poverty. It wasn’t like this ever before. In cities like Mississauga, Brampton and Surrey, the Khalistan movement + gangs involved in theft, drugs and human trafficking are from Punjab/Haryana and they have mushroomed here like crazy. A good 30-40% criminals in prison or on bail in these cities are of India ethnicity. \n\nIt is behaviours like these by Indians in the recent few years that has thoroughly infuriated native Canadians and now they hate the rest of us that have lived here peacefully and have been good citizens. There is a very serious, very real anti-immigrant (anti-Indian too) sentiment building up here. \n\n7. Lastly, the student protests that you have highlighted here is absolutely ridiculous! These students from India came to Canada under a student visa knowing fully well that they are supposed to go back after the completion of their studies, and now they are DEMANDING that they be issued extensions in work permits and be considered for PR. This is insane! This is because they never intended to return to India in the first place and were abusing the system as a back door entry. They are threatening to go on hunger strikes and what not. Legally, on a student visa, they are NOT allowed to participate in any sort of activism. \n\nNOBODY that comes to our country on a temporary visa (student, tourist etc.) has the right to dictate terms to us and demand that we change our immigration policies based on their preferences. No, that will not happen. \n\nCanada, like every country, has the sole right and privilege to decide who gets to become a permanent resident or a citizen based on our national priorities and strategic interests. Most of the people commenting on Canada can't even imagine the quality of life. Even if you're Ambani, you'll still have to deal with pollution and dirt all over the place. Due to the influx of immigrants and recently poor governance of the country, it has slumped. Drugs and homelessness has increased but I've been settled here since the past two years and have had a considerable amount of work life balance and financial stability compared to back home. I did work for close to a decade in India yet could not accomplish what I did in 2 years here. Every country has it's pro's and cons and when it comes to healthcare yes it is sad but will be improved over time. If India was so great why are we taxed beyond question and not allowed to enjoy proper infrastructure and employment opportunities. Canadians are tired of our protests and whining for PR. People with no skills back home, can't land a job anywhere else. Period.

Canada is the most beautiful country in the world that’s its usp , again we Indians can learn something from Canada is the way they preserved their nature that is remarkable that gives them good oxygen rich air , water and hygiene that Indian people are far away or never witnessed in their life. We don’t have any greenery in our country we really need to work on improving that but neither the people nor the government is interested in making good changes or even have such idea in head ! Along with that Canada has strong tax system you really get tax return as well as strong labour protection act that guards its resident from exploitation and employees can sue the employer if exploitation is provable on table with facts. India doesn’t have any strong labour protection body this results even in corporate jobs you have to work more than 8 hours and no OT , plus Canada has EI (employment insurance) so that means is , if you loose your job for any reason you will get government assistance to help to pay your bills till you find your next job. Plus disability benefits , food banks , freedom to live your life the way you want, you can eat what you want, religion based stupidity doesn’t exist in that country. So yes it’s true I don’t like the Canadian PM either but overall Canada is really good country and we Indians can learn atleast some good things they carry and adapt to our country and make India bit better place to live. All the problems have been there since many years for many developed countries. Now seems Canadian government itself wants to highlight this as much as they can as part of their propaganda to eradicate the immigration problem. Brampton and Surrey near Vancouver have become mini-ethnic enclaves of Indians, especially from the state of Punjab. When I moved into Brampton initially, 10 years back from India, I was shocked that the main language spoken here is Punjabi and not English ! There was nothing Canadian about this suburb anymore, it just looked like an overseas part of Punjab. That's why I moved out of Brampton within a few months. Even Indian immigrants are now appealing to the current government of Canada to stop this mass and unregulated immigration. This has already ruined Canadian culture and society !

I am a Canadian and I have seen the sharp decline of Canada over the past decade which makes me very sad. According to many 'experts' they paint a dire picture of the nations future as the rate of inflation spirals out of control and we are buried beneath a mountain of debt. On the ground level, homelessness is an epidemic that the powers that should not be seem to want to sweep under the rug, while they race bait and spout off about woke ideology. They are more worried about transgender rights and castrating children while with anyone with eyes to see are witnessing the very breakdown of their society around them, people are dying in the streets from fentanyl overdose. My wife volunteered at our old church which catored to the homeless and I have known many that are no longer with us, nobody wants to acknowledge it because they do not want to face the fact that they are fellow human beings. In the end no one is better than any one else, it is all vanity.?\nIt would seem like we are run by lunatics with severe cognitive dissonance by the fact that we have mass immigration while are own \npopulation is suffering, I admit that mental health and addictions are potent variables that constitute the crisis, I am not niave to those facts. I myself have had long term Sobriety. But it is odd that only a decade ago, homelessness /addiction were problems confined to major cities like Vancouver and Toronto, and now we have tent cities in almost every town with a population of more than 20 thousand people. Many people illegal workers in canada but the government doesn't do nothing about them. That's why they come here to work under the table. So the owners don't pay much and they also run away from government tax. I hope the government have to deport those people home. So canadian have a chance to work

$17k for international students, $2k for Canadians. The Government is creating this environment to tip the scales of the voter demographics, NEW IMMIGRANTS ARE NOT TO BLAME, it's the Schools and Government doing this for cash. I'm Canadian and the country has turned to shit in the last 3 years. I don't blame the immigrants I blame our government for letting something like this happen. I'm 32, make decent money and was able to buy a house 3 years ago; and now I can barely afford to buy food. life use to be so easy here and now every week is a paycheque to paycheque bassist. very sad.
