There was no check and balance from provincial governments on school/colleges, because they liked the inflow of $$$ within their provinces.\n3. Totally agree with you that fake students should not be getting any merci. But are all the fake students from India, not really. Both the federal and provincial governments were allowing more Indian students because they wanted to have more economic ties with Indian growing economy. \n4. Punjabi (including Sikhs) is one of the best marshal races to serve in army or security agencies. Our Canadian officials never hire personals without a proper security check. \n5. Khalistan's supporters are adapting a peaceful way for their freedom land. As far they are peaceful, we should not have any issue with their struggle. Protesting in another country where you are a student is not allowed and the act itself can get you deported. However, the scams the Canadian colleges and universities do in countries like India and Pakistan is terrible. These students pay almost double the money local kids do. They r most times highly qualified and have availed of an opportunity offered by these institutes. When such things happen, its obvious that they are unhappy. I think the Indian government needs to start issuing advisory. I don't think its worth it, I wish people understood this. The US, Germany/Europe,UK even Australia is much different. Believe it or not, a lot of these students wish to pay back student loans and get out of this scam. Canada is beautiful, but the amount of scams here, prepostrous.

Canadian companies are the problem as well. They pretend they can't find Canadians to work (been experiencing this since 1976) and then hire temporary foreign workers, and the illegal immigrants. The Canadian business owners then get Canadian government grants and subsidies from 50% to 70% to cover the temporary workers wages and more than likely when they hire illegal immigrants as well, along with kick backs for providing housing. Canadian companies also pay those workers under the table, especially in the hospitality industry, and lay off Canadians and keep the temporary foreign workers and pay them under the table. Now if the Canadian government would offer grants and subsidies when Canadian companies hire Canadians, more Canadians would have full time jobs with livable wages. The Canadian government has to stop allowing foreign entities from buying Canadian businesses as they only have to hire 1 Canadian. After that the foreign entities who bought Canadian businesses are allowed to bring in as many of their workers as they want. That has to be stopped as well.

I came to Canada in 2019 to study Master's at a highly-ranked Canadian University. I thought I'll have good education, and if I get a good job in my industry in Canada, I'll be easily able to apply for PR. Well, I completed my degree, I got a job, gained experience, but now the Express Entry system is so messed up that I cannot score that high!\n\nYes, I blame those shady colleges who offered admission to fake students, I blame those students who did not come to study but to apply for asylum. Because of them, everything is messed up. I agree that not all international students are entitled to get PR. But, those who are skilled should get a fair chance, like before. Not everyone comes here to make coffee at Tims.\n\nI saw my friend who could barely talk in English getting PR before me through the TR to PR pathway in 2021. I couldn't apply because he finished his degree earlier cz his was a College Diploma of 1 year and mine was a Master's degree.\n\nIT IS FRUSTRATING.

I’m Indian and I will be damned if I say I agree with you. This shouldn’t be allowed. Follow the rules. This mob culture has to stop. I work my ass off and I can’t get by. My industry went on a strike for a year and I couldn’t get a survival job. These students can move from one province to another any time they want. How is this possible. Isn’t there any law to prevent them moving from the place they came to “study” in the first place and move to another location just for PR? I waited two years to get my police verification done from all the countries I worked before my immigration application got approved. These days it’s like the immigration ministry is handing over permanent residency like candies. More over if I go to a shop ask for help I get answers in a language I don’t speak or follow. Why are we allowing this? Why can’t these guys speak English or French? Why am forced to learn Punjabi? If these guys want to create a ghetto for themselves why are they doing it here? Who’s allowing all this? What’s happening to those English language tests? I don’t care if they fulfill any of those departments that require eligible workers. Why do we have to import truck drivers and factory workers? I’m fed up with this and I wonder why Canadians aren’t worried about their country and culture and react like they do. I think Everyone is right and wrong at the same time in all of this. Students are wrong to expect 'rights' in a country of which they are not a citizen of but they are also right in the point that government changed the rules overnight without any prior guidance. This the the same as increasing corporate tax rate in this budget. It came out of nowhere. The employers are also right because more labour = lower wages. These students are willing to work to far less than an average Canadian. If these students don't work for low wages then inflation goes ballistic. If you have to pay higher wage to manufacture a product then that extra cost gets passed on to the consumer. raising price of goods = inflation. Also This would increase taxes. If you pay more for a product, you pay % tax on total price of that item which now has baked in higher wages. If you do bring in more of these cheap labour than social services cant keep up like health care. I cannot believe how thoroughly this government has fked our country.

What a joke when my parents came in Canada in the 50s they were treated like slaves. You had to go in a certain part of Canada and work your ass off to died. These people are coming in getting social programs from the government and even complain. Instead of at the time redirecting half of those two it was 500 billion take a half of that investment in putting it into infrastructure technology innovation for industries. Our education systems from kindergarten through to postsecondary education and spending it on the Canadians that were here. We've turned our post-secondary institutions in Canada into diploma Mills where you know your VA and your you know postgraduate degrees or you know they're worthless. However the government and the education system grew into a very profitable industry grinding out worthless degree after worthless degree for foreign students who thought when they got these degrees with 50% of Canadians have. People have to realize that post-secondary education is a big business so they're going to sell you a dream that's going to cost you a lot of money what I suggest is when YouTubers want to do something on Canada do some proper research let people know that we really do have quality post-secondary education system but you have to look at when you graduate those jobs going to be there to pay that large salary does White collar jobs are disappearing almost gone I purchase an app for my company with small company about 10 employees this inexpensive app alone has taken my office staff from 7: to 2: I have a 10 Red seal tradesman tradeswomen these 10 highly skilled trades people earn between 125 and 145,000 a year in gross salary and I need five more of these highly skilled people and I can't find them cuz everybody's running in to get a useless postgraduate degree. I do find it slightly offensive that a lot of new immigrants new Canadians immigrate to Canada to purely exploit it for its wealth Canada should be looked at as a place to come put your hard work in the struggles the ups and downs? and look at it as your home instead of you know a piggy bank but people are going to leave and there's a long line up to get in I've seen in my 40 year career you know three major reps and three major downs. What's happening in Canada's economy and the economies around the world it's all the same the US economy's doing quite well and talked to last couple of weeks friends that have invested their and families have been there long-term at present the United States is building a war economy so there's money pouring into that effort it does have a booming you know Hi-Tech boom as well however the tech boom is offshore with American companies and it's taking place in a part of the world that no one would think it would take place so if your graduate in the tech industry go online do a little research you'll find out where it is the USA is building a huge chip factories I think they just poured in 70 or 80 billion dollars we're in a transitioning economy don't get discouraged put your head into it do your homework find out where these new jobs are coming from which jobs are not going to be here. Traditional White collar you know middle management upper management jobs they've been gone for years everyone's think of themselves as an independent contractor. Also if you're a millennial or was a gen z person there's going to be a massive transfer of wealth over the next 20 to 30 years as baby boomers simply die off and then you guys are going to inherit their money I live in any one of the g7 economies I just got to find your niece with your qualifications and get in there and innovate because there's not one g7 country that significantly doing better than anyone else another interesting part of the world is East Africa I'm retiring there in 5 years I've already done my homework I've already got partners I've already started to train up people there in East Africa Canada and those parts of the world they have East Africa's great basic infrastructure so now that they've got their first level base of infrastructure a second economy is built off at the service that basic infrastructure that basic infrastructure allows for that second layer a bigger layer of investment you know and that's where the real money is for mid-level investors and you know highly educated Young westerners have got 10 years into their respective careers and these are also very beautiful countries you know so you can if you got family in Canada family in Europe India Asia you know you can start building networks collaborate on projects you know in these you know emerging economies you know mid-level economies but that's you know a good 20-year grind to get good at your career and build your confidence to go into these places and get these things done also you know it's a great life adventure but never expect just because you have an advanced degree that the door even come knocking down your door to employ you if you're going to wait for the opportunity to come to you you're going to be waiting forever you got to take your advanced degrees get out there and hustle and work hard man Canada's doing fine about four or five years it's you know it's going to take off next level and it's going to boom for 40 years and it's never going to get any cheaper in g7 countries Amy's emerging economies his pockets around the world they're starting to come up to in the window to get into these emerging economies with your advanced degrees it's closing if you don't make it if you don't start looking at it in the next 5 years your degrees are going to be gone useless and if you do decide to put your career in these emerging economies like Asia South America Central America Africa do it for the right reasons not just for money we don't want to make the same mistakes as like the industrial Revolution where a few people get rich and the people in that country you know don't get anything have respect for these countries employ their people and you have to get into these places before all the big corporations get set up there cuz they're they're going there Canada's a great place as a great time free medical system and I urge anybody that's feeling down or depressed in Canada you know to go get some therapy join some clubs talk to people don't get down and mostly don't you know don't give up on yourself you guys made it through you know Elite post-secondary education system and if you can if you can do that I mean you can you can do anything a lot of hard work ahead truly best of luck to all you guys

I remember visiting Canada and trying to get a cell phone data plan, it was imposible as a tourist without any Canadian documents. I ended up paying like $70 usd for 4GB of data with Roger which was insane. Now I just cross US/Canada border and bring my Starlink with me. I like visiting the US, but don't want to move there. I like the people however cities are not safe. My cousin told me that his small town had 110 murders (WV) . I had just visited Montreal. They have 4.5 million people and had 28 murders that year and were complaining that it's getting crazy. We live longer than Americans and deaths at birth are less. If I had to move to the US, I'd buy a gun. In Canada, to protect my home, I just put on the outside light and lock the door. However, I usually forget to lock the door when I go to bed.

My capital gains on investments is around 15%. I get free health care (which while obviously not free - is paid out of my taxes, yet isn't rationed or in-network restrictions, doesn't have copays and cover 90% of my medical needs). I have a government that even at its worst, is orders of magnitude more rational and public serving than the US (and god help you if Trump gets back in). Even when they get through, many would still get deported. Next year is our election year and so many are fed up with this immigration issue and may likely vote for conservatives who are much stricter when it comes to immigration. Liberals are trying to rectify these immigration catastrophe as they know they would pay the price with many MPs losing their seats due to their constituencies being overrun by asylum seekers.

I later found out that coming over as a student would be much better than just visiting but even as that I had visiting Visa already. Not only is it it impossible to live here, there are no resources unless the government gets something from it. As an indigenous child who grew up in foster care my whole life, there was no indigenous foster care homes for me to go to and therefore my culture has become traumatic for me. My OWN culture has major trauma related to it and my foster care agency would NOT help me unless I moved to the reservation after I aged out the THEIR system, which was not applicable because they were the ones who traumatized me. When I turned 19, I was expected to have it all figured out, I was not allowed to remain in my foster home afterwards without massive paper work and thank god my foster mom cared about me because without her, I would be on the streets with nothing but a garbage full of clothes. I moved out on my own with the help of that family and my agency said they would help with things if I asked. As of the economy now, I did ask them. I asked them for any help at all and my social worker LITERALLY ghosted me and stood me up, even at my plea for help. You would think this is just my case but there are hundreds of cases like mine with even worse endings and what Canada has done with this information is nothing. Foster Care in Canada for indigenous youth is the 2000’s way of Residential Schools and I am EXTREMELY lucky to NOT be homeless and dead. Many of my friends in similar situations are dead or homeless and I have no hope for Canada, it’s an extremely depressing reality.

no matter who gets into power, in any country, from any political background, it doesn't matter. nothing ever changes for the better, it only gets worse. its the poor, vulnerable and disabled who become the first victims of the down trend. just look at the u.k. where hundreds of thousands of people murdered because of our government using us as scapegoats to drive their policies, one of which being the hostile benefits policy. you can easily find info about it online by searching the term and u.k. dwp deaths.\nthe most frustrating part about it is that poor disabled people can't do anything about it. we are ignored not just by the government but by society in general. we have no voice and so our suffering goes on. it feels like a hopeless situation.

So if those Indians start taking drugs and go homeless like those Canadian-born junkies you talked to, that would mean integration and adapting to the new home's culture?! I'm neither Indian nor Canadian-born but c'mon! What's wrong if those Indians listen to their parents who advised them to go to college, get a degree and and then get good job while those Canadian-born white parents told their kids do whatever that pleases you and become what makes you happy? And here they are: adicted and homeless living on taxes paid by hard working people like Indians.
