I have been in Canada for 28 years, as an Immigrant myself, i can tell you, you don't need to be a born canadian to see the spike of immigration and changes that happened to this country as a result from that. i went to Niagara Falls last year, i couldn't move around due to the flood of sooooo many people. i understand that it is a touristic place, but the only tourists i saw are coming from India or pakistan. and i doubt that they flew from there. and before calling racist or anything, i am brown too... the latest idea in my head, is to go back home. if i went across an ocean to find the same people that i left, what is the point ?!, i just go back and have them as neighbors....

Indian guy here. This is fairly accurate and not racist at all. Even we Indians know that this immigration policy makes zero sense and is serving neither the citizens, nor the immigrants. Glad I came across this vid. I'm a PhD candidate and I've decided to go back home when I finish. I'm really appalled at the state of healthcare here. I had to literally beg a doctor for a blood test, something that is so simple to get at home. I have never been so depressed and off balance and I think a lot of it has to do with the weather. I really thought I would like it here, but it's not worth being away from my family for a place like Canada.

All international students in application agree to go back after graduation, now they are professional and graduate they should go back to their own country and help their country to improve for better and live the jobs and opportunities for our kids

I came from France back in 2015 whith my familly when Harper was still prime minister at the time , really I'd say things have been really great , my family and I have worked hard to get to where we are today and have always wanted to give back to our community here but I am disgusted to see in 2024 what Trudeau has done to the country and to see that immigration is no longer as prestigious as it used to be. Unlike some people we have today, I had to wait 3 years with my family before receiving approval to move to Canada (after so many exams, appointments and waiting times). I did my middle school here until college and I'm currently still looking for work in correctional and when I see that people arrive here afterwards without being permanent residents, who are literally flooding spots at colleges/university and also jobs that are normally open for young canadians in their 15-16 (When I was in high school, my first job was at a McDonald's, and without exception, everyone there was Canadian. Today, when I go back to the same McDonald's for a cheeseburger every now and then, the entire staff is nothing but Indians) .As a person with an immigrant background, I'm the first one to say that there's a very big problem in Canada, and that current immigration, mainly from India, is no longer for economic reasons but to reunite families.(They do not, and will never, assimilate into Canadian culture.)Now that I've grown up in Canada for almost half my life, I'm already thinking about either returning to France or start over somewhere else if nothing changes.\n\nThe Trudeau government, uncontrolled immigration, dangerous idelogies from extreme far left idea, rising unemployment, and economic misery getting worse every day , gradually pushes me away from the country I love, Oh Canada.

Why is Pierre afraid of the immigrant issue? I think - that they will all be labeled of being racists because they don't want other cultures and more people in the country. That's what it is. Why do they come to Canada, if not for the benefits? Why do these countries not set up their own Universities, where former international students go back home and teach their country and students what they learned here. It would be cheaper for them, and they can stay in their own country. But, they don't want to do that as they see Canada as the country of opportunities to bring their whole extended families here. We are already facing housing shortages, and don't need any of this type of opportunistic citizenships. They need to drastically cut the amount of foreign students allowed in. This year they are allowing 485,000 students. This does not take into account the students who are in high school or those studying for their master’s or doctoral degree's. In total it is 552,000. Then add on the Immigrants at 485,000, illegals or asylum claims( which is at record high numbers, could not find the figures for this year), then the migrant workers which are estimated between 700k to 900k. This is all too much. Drastic cuts need to be made, and this government that allowed all that to happen needs to be ousted out.

Why are you guys trying to target hardworking people? does anyone know the kind of benefits refugees get ? No cent has been paid in tax dollars by these people. Their rent is paid for by the government, their children's education is paid for, these guys have no clue about how to communicate in english. Students paid fees to get education here and gave exams to certify the level of english, I worked in Insurance and telecommunications sector and imagine explaining shit to these guys who are not interested in listening to how it actually works then come back and blame service reps for hiding facts.
