Come to Indonesia, you would love it here.\n\nThe public infrastructure is not the best, but probably the highest masjids density in the world. Additionally, if you decided on SouthEast Asia (as you mentioned Malaysia) Indonesia is the safest, most democratic, most free, richest, and biggest country in the region too, so you can travel a lot locally. Try to aim for Jakarta Suburbs, lots of rich communities with excellent infrastructure and low traffic.\n\nThat being said, the food in Malaysia is better in quality and selection and it is cheaper too. Additionally, you can speak English in Malaysia, but it is much harder to get residency or citizenship there.

Hello Saleh family, I have been following you for over two years now; I am not american or canadian but a physician and mother of two from a third world country in the Caribbean. I started following you because I was curious about the muslim faith and your way of life. I started following different muslim people (and jewish, vegan, homeless and more... basically anybody different than me) and after some time I saw that we were all humans in search of the same things in life. I completely agree with your decision of moving but was very disappointed in your comments towards the drag community. A person in drag reading a children's book is not indoctrination. A person in drag reading to kids is only teaching them acceptance and tolerance (exactly what you want the world to give to your girls who most likely wear a Hijab). A person in drag is an artist who finds joy and self worth in certain clothes, hairstyles and makeup... it is a person a human person with the same value as everyone else. It has nothing to do with sexuallity or sexual orientation... if we truly want freedom for Palestine, if we truly want to change the narrative and to prevent 75+ years of brutal occupation and racism ever happening again; we have to change the way we see our differences... is not enough to ignore and respect people who are different: we have to accept them and recognize their humanity and their worth; to value and foster acceptance and integration in the younger generations... that is the only way forward, that is the only way we will all secure a better future for our kids. Salam, I was born and raised in Canada but I knew one thing ever since I was young, I knew that I wanted to get married and raise my children in my home country, Lebanon. So, I did get married back in 2003, raised my children there until 2021. This is when I made the conscious decision to move back to Canada for a “better life” ? only because there were lots of problems with our economy…. \nDuring this past summer I knew that Lebanon was a “better life” lol \nAgain after living and witnessing first hand everything you mentioned in your video, I too made the conscious decision to leave Canada and move back to stunning Lebanon. People often say to stay and make your country better instead of leaving, but sometimes that is just not a feasible option, and if you have the ability to leave and do what you deem best for your family, then that is what you should do. Wishing your family the best.

As salamu alaikum, may Allah guides you to the best decision and place for your family and use you in the goodness whatever wherever and accept your good deeds ameeen ?\nJust to not be shocked some of your reasonable reasons for looking for more Islamic environment are not available as you wish in lot of Islamic countries.\nOf course there's more daily Islamic things that people in these countries take for granted while Muslims in western countries suffer to get/live and though the gap in cultures is shrinking, which should be a good thing in its principle, but with time of more fetan it sometimes means faster spread of fetan between countries to find some of what your suffering from is there also but maybe alhamdullelah still not in same pace or widness.\nIt hurts do much being in countries whose governments support obviously the wrong side, just keeping mind it's hurting (regardless now of whether hurts more/same/less) when you are in some Islamic countries and not free to express your opinions freely.\nIt's worth mentioning that moving while kids are not yet old enough to get familiar with anti-islamic things around is better in timing.\nOne suggestion that I'm not sure whether is affordable or time wise is good or not or whether you've gone this all the way of trying or not is to continue living in Canada with more surroundings of people of similar core values (by the way not all of whom I mean have to be Muslims, lot of non-Muslims are conservative about education and society pushing their kids to ideas and behaviors against their core values) if you've tried this already and even tried moving within Canada for that purpose and didn't work, then may Allah help you to go for the best.

MashaAllah, u guys r such an amazing couples and parents. I know this is not an easy decision, but Allah is with u and I really stand and look up to u. Every parent knows what is best for their children and families. I live in Pakistan 2. Me and my brother were born in US to Pakistani parents. My mom didn't want to leave US but my dad said there is no religious environment there plus our whole family lives in Pakistan and didn't want us to grow there. Our apartment owner who was Christian was not letting us go. He said that u guys r such an amazing people, good Muslims, nice to everyone and take Care for everyone. It was really hard for both of my parents but Allah made it easy for us. My mom passed away when I was 18 and my brother 15 and I really miss her. My option is u can guys move to Pakistan. U can get Islamic education + Islamic environment. No matter how bad our politics, government doesn't care about Its own country and no cleanliness but I still love Pakistan. I really respect you guys for making such a hardest decision with strength. I really support you guys with this decision. Just don't mind I was just giving an advice that Pakistan is way better but it is totally up to u guys which country u like to make your better life. But where ever u guys go, u are all always in my prayers even our brothers and sisters in Gaza. My family moved 22 years ago from Mumbai to Toronto…while the struggles said on your channel are real, there are also perks which I feel like you didn’t get to experience. If people have good jobs, stable family life then DON’T move…culture shock is huge that people moving from India don’t consider, just by wearing and eating western food doesn’t make you western! \nThere are sacrifices to be expected which you don’t realized as your great grandparents or grandparents might have made when they started out! \nMoving to another country is never easy, unless you’re loaded with $$$. People in India are lazy as they have people working for them and don’t realize how difficult it is living outside of that lifestyle (not everyone in India can afford housekeepers, cleaners). Being independent and doing things on your own has its own positive (just need to figure it out). \n\nI have worked in healthcare for 16 years and let me tell you…social system works better as everyone gets the health service without being judged about $$. Healthcare is based on priority around the world but people don’t understand this as they feel like their problem should be attended first no matter what! \nNot all drugs are legal in Canada, marijuana is legal though with acceptable limits…you probably were misinformed about drugs! Teach your kids about right /wrong when it comes to drugs, smoking, alcohol and that’s the best you can do! I know people who live in India and do all that which you mentioned you were worried about for your kids. \n\nWhat you experienced was a classic case of culture shock and your expectations didn’t match the reality! Moving away from family, changing lifestyle and being responsible adult (doing things on your own rather than relying on workers) is difficult but doesn’t make the country bad that have you an opportunity to settle! Don’t take things for granted even while you live in India…appreciate the effort that goes into everything- keeping roads clean, people working hard, etc. \n\nBest advice I can give to those considering moving to any foreign country is: Keep an open mind, be ready to work hard and visit the country you want to move to before you make the grave decision of uprooting everything! Things usually turn around and get better after 5 years mark- focus on upgrading your education if you have a basic degree from India (even you know how competitive things are in India, so how can western world not be!)\n\nBeing vegetarian- things are tough when it comes to food but living in Toronto has never been an issue. Even people living in India avoid outside food due to hygiene reason which is not a problem in Canada as food inspection is pretty strict (having worked with ministry of health). \nCities like Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, etc has variety of food options (including veg)…just have to be really open to trying other cultural food (Asian, Mediterranean, Italian,Mexican, etc). My parents are strict vegetarians and have never truly struggled when they are out. \n\nCost of living is definitely higher as the standard living is higher compared to India. Education (until grade 12) and healthcare are free (in reality, you pay tax for it), you get pension when you retire (based on your contributions and type of jobs you had)…you failed to navigate the system and I will say having family around is why you didn’t take opportunity to explore and learn on your own. \n\nPlease don’t come to Canada and make life difficult for other Indians who choose to willingly accept the culture and lifestyle here after going through this hardship- cost of living and housing has gone up dramatically in major cities because of immigration influx! If you’re serious about moving and putting up, only then move! Otherwise all the best for your future endeavours!

It's so sad, because it is such a huge, beautiful country. And you know, in the USA, we grew up watching things, and reading things, etc that weren't even Amercian, but Canadian, and mostly not knowing it. So many beloved things from Canada. We did also feel like they were happier, and more pleasant than we were. But I have many friends up there, from all Provinces, and they all have the same complaints. Thing is, they are the same complaints about the USA also, but just things like crime in the USA is notably worse....I used to live in the UK also, and that was better, but still not brilliant. The west as a whole is falling apart, and there are reasons for that, reasons that are being mostly ignored, so it will only get worse I'm afraid, unless we start demanding that they know longer be countries that cater to only the rich. Where only the rich can thrive.

Canada just needs immigrants to fill their minimum wage workplaces therefore if you are well educated in your own country you much better off staying out of Canada and move to some other country

Why and how the great, rich North America got to this state of misery in 21 century?! What are the real reasons? For example why in 21 century there are more mental disorder patients whom are not supported by a rich , resourceful government and eventually end up to the streets?! Why there was not such problem in 19 or 20 th centuries? How the society was taking care of them back then? Or, why when people lose their physical ability to work, there is not a system of permanent support for them? It's much better here in Australia. I live in a little country town 500km from Melbourne, great hospital, free medical care, bought 3 nice houses here from selling an apartment in Melbourne - and unlike Canada or the US, we dont need to pay any tips or any of those pesky extra taxes you always add onto everything !

Most of my life I lived in a country where you have to pay for healthcare to get higher quality or next day appointment. And looking at Canada I still prefer it more than free healthcare with waiting up to 6 months without having any private alternative. I better pay to fix my health as fast as possible. Canada's a shithole country. I left for the USA after living there for 30 years and I quadrupled my salary and halved my tax rate while keeping my cost of living almost the same. Healthcare quality is way better here. Fuck Canada.

Why do immigrants come to Canada? Because they're looking for better opportunities they can't get where they come from! But Canada is not a perfect country either We don't have enough jobs for all of them nor housing either. Also there's too much pressure on our social aid and our healthcare as well so we can't keep them all and this places them at a big disadvantage!

Canada is not perfect. Our health care is over burdened for one thing, and real estate is overpriced. But I don't know any of my fellow Canadians leaving en masse. Like, where would we go? The Scandinavian countries aren't exactly welcoming any of us with open arms... All countries have their problems. Canada is the partner you settle for because there aren't a lot of better options

You appear to live in a luxury condo, which to many other immigrants is a dream place to live in. And I am sure you did not live in the same luxury condition when you were in your country, China. I lived in Toronto most my life. My father told me something startling accurate. Someone making $50k 5-6 years ago would have a much better purchasing power than someone making $100k now. The cost of living skyrocketed across the country because of 2 decades of terrible government policies, especially in the last 8-10 years...

US still better for me than UK and yet they probably like same system like Canada has..I’ve heard this with my friends and cousins living in Canada also. Sadly here in US people are started to get some down turn cost of living as inflation started to bite but I think still better still than any country I had resided before the US. If you were in Canada and had degrees you better off going to America where they will credit your studies and appreciate your contribution unlike the system you have in Canada.

Living in the US is better than Canada until you get really sick, then you need to mortgage your house 3 times just to keep yourself alive.
