The way these Canadians talk about immigrants, you'll think the immigrants pays penny to come to Canada. These people are paying tuition fees lots of you can't even afford with your yearly salary. Dated a chick in Toronto who was from Romania. She didn’t even get her Canadian citizenship yet. Only having the residency of Canada. I tried to get her to come to America so many times and try to show her that things aren’t as bad as what you’ve probably heard in Romania/ Canada. I even was willing to move over her parents. As an Indian, I would like to apologize to the natives. That lady spoke the truth - if you are moving to a new country, you have to adapt and respect their culture so that they can accept you easily. Most people coming to Brampton don't even know how to communicate in English. I would like to share a true story that happened to me. In 2021, I was coming to Canada and I was standing in the boarding pass queue at the airport when a guy asked me how to spell Canada. I was in complete shock. How can you go to Canada as a student when you can't even spell it?

Im an Indian from the state of Kerala. In my class from college nearly 20 of them came to study in Canada. Believe me these people who come are not that academically good the fun fact is that the academically brighter ones never went abroad all of them got a decent job in India itself.. I'm not saying that all of them coming are trash my ex gf now in Hamilton was extremely bright and got a decent job there..the basic issue is that Canadian government must have strict standards for foreign students Australia has it. The government has welcomed in 1.2 million people from January 2023-2024. My friend lived in PEI.she could not find a job or a place to stay her one bedroom went up so high she packed her bag and came over to new Glasgow .and got her first job cleaning garbage of the sides of the road .no jobs here also three months of the summer working to cater to the few tourist.that come to walk around and get back into their motor homes and drive to the poorest of the poor cape breton.another place with no work .no housing.no one coming for a job can't afford a one bedroom.send these people back.before they bring over everyone of their families.

Many of these students were sold a bill of goods by various people who promised more than they should have. As our PM has stated students coming over has not been the issue, but having temporary workers come over has been. What had been traditionally 2% has been 7% plus. This is what needs to be reduced, but in most of these cases no one wants to do the jobs they have, such as fruit picking. I find some of the comments here as being offensive, don't need more Tim Horton workers. A number of these individuals are here for PR first and schooling second, this needs to tighten up. I have lived abroad for last 47 years, with god's blessings and grace life has been good, have pension and free medical treatment doctors medicine,i travel to India every year but medical treatment is a scam there and any thing which is simple abroad is complicated in India especially if they know you are living abroad they make it more complicated or scam you especially for medical treatment, traffic in Bombay is terrible, takes hours to move around in cabs , public transport its not possible to travel, so much or garbage around and pollution and the heat and rain its impossible to get out the house starting March until September its terrible luckily September to March can manage in India and its winter time abroad during that time,if it was not for the winter abroad my first choice would be abroad compared to India, people who are used to comfortable life and maids in India can't manage abroad, even I can easily afford a maid when I m in India I do my own house work in India as i do it abroad\nThe millions of Indian who live abroad complain but never coming back for good\nSorry to say indian are the most racist even among themselves caste, religion, State,and 99% of indian are fake and show off much more than their worth

It makes me crazy to hear Justin repeating everything Pierre has been saying for months. Immigration is causing issues with so many International students coming to Canada which is more than Canada can absorb. Justin hasn't thought of any ideas and uses what Pierre has been saying for months now. If you can work out the immigration numbers coming into Canada and the possibility of building homes and how fast. They said Canada would have to build a home every minute to build homes to fix the number of people in Canada now through immigration.

I know because that's how I came to Canada. Unlike the US where it's hard to stay and you need a marriage, in Canada you can use a qualifying job. Usually people sponsored by family to get PR, as well as refugees, are put ahead of international students as well as those on work permits. \n\nIn the meantime, International students over-pay into post secondary, as well as working off campus and paying taxes, but are always last in line when it comes to being granted PR. The rules change so much so fast, it's easy to find yourself out of time and kicked out of the country. \n\nSo whoever watches this will be happy that International students are getting kicked out, but the problem with too much immigration won't be solved because the country is still taking in so many refugees. Right now it's international students getting the axe and are the scape goats in ths game. \n\nAlso, the reason why Canada takes in more immigrants beyond the obvious, is because they want to eventually do away with property rights. Canada is a corporation and I guess the more immigrants WE have then the GDP looks better. I am a Canadian and my mother was born here and my grandmother came to Canada in 1907 from the USA when she was 7 years old. I was born in the 1940s and brought up in rural surroundings. Back then We had traditional beliefs and I had farming background. Connection of relatives and helping our neighbours were how We lived. I became a schoolteacher. I saw that in 1954 when I went to school that learning was not natural and it was fear based. Then I completed a dip. of ed psy and then I decided that if I ever wanted to help change the system that I would require at least an m. ed. - leadership. I knew the university I went to would not be able to say no to me when I applied to get into this program. However, I was too much of an negative influence on the younger students and had to finish the last couple of classes at home and which I did. Today, the families have been divided, people do not connect or communicate properly and I have to question what living skills did I learn? Instead, my head was filled with propaganda which sadly, I've had to relearn. I say, stay in your own country and fix it there. Indian has some wonder ancient wisdoms for healing and health. The OWNERS of our nations like the banking families realize that when new immigrates come in that they assimilate more, and the older generations begin to question what THEY were taught and why. Im Bangladeshi-American, born in America. My parents were immigrants. I dont understand how its anyone's concern what language people speak with family and friends or if someone does not know English. In a free country, you can speak whatever language you want, wear your cultural clothing, and eat your culture's food. why does one need to adapt to the local area? The law doesnt oblige them...
