Hey, have you noticed that even though there are a lot of Filipinos in Canada, they don't seem to get as much attention as other groups? I mean, they're the third largest nationality here, but it's like they're not really seen or heard. I wonder if anyone else feels the same way.

Little late to the conversation, but i only recently discovered this channel. I can agree with the majority of opinions in general, politics, guns, healthcare etc are all better here in Canada. Sure there may be safe pockets in the US but that’s not typically an issue in Canada. You don’t need to strategize where to live here based on that stuff, but may need to take into account the weather as it drastically varies within Canada. \nMoving to the US would typically be based on a job opportunity and likely wouldn’t provide much choice in location - go where the work is and unless it’s opening a small shop somewhere or working in a rural setting, you’re likely going to be in a bigger city where the majority of the violence is. Even so, with laws like ‘stand your ground’ you could get shit anywhere if you piss off the wring person. In Canada, you might yell at each & flip them off, then you just walk away without concern of being shot. You might get jerseyed though. ?

Dated a chick in Toronto who was from Romania. She didn’t even get her Canadian citizenship yet. Only having the residency of Canada. I tried to get her to come to America so many times and try to show her that things aren’t as bad as what you’ve probably heard in Romania/ Canada. I even was willing to move over her parents. The father is an hardworking immigrant and her mother doesn’t work. I told her the economics and she just didn’t get it. I shared her my vision, getting married etc she just didn’t get it. Do u really think Canadian Universities and colleges are that popular for study. Every student spend 50 k $ to get this 0 value study here .... Why dont you first make video on university fees. Him being deported or not doesn't matter, the rules and regulations that allow such inexperienced drivers drive these huge dangerous rigs is a huge problem. I get that the economy suffers from a job shortage in the truck driving sector, but this is NOT the way. Just thinking about all the anti family issues in North America that white Canadians face like abortions, LGBTQ, divorce, men preferring to stay single. The consequences of these ideologies are less and less reproduction, less and less babies being born. The problem of feeling locals as immigrants in their own country is due to addiction of drugs. So question that first. Secondly, immigrants are back bone for Canadian economy. I don't get it. It was a unfortunate and tragic accident. He didn't cause the accident on purpose. He owned up to it. Pleaded guilty. I get a mistake was made. What I do understand is that he took responsibility for what happened. He did not try to get away with it. It is not like he is some criminal gang member joy-riding around. How about that u do some research and check the points system anyone with a good job who is contributing towards the growth of the country would be held under the pressure of points system and would be forced to do jobs which has lower crs points or go to provinces like this which don’t have enough jobs to support our qualifications. I have had many interesting experiences at the Indian Consulate. But fortunately no one screamed at me! When my late beloved Mother passed away, I took the the tried and tested method which always works in India, my good friend had a friend who knew the Vice Consul at the Embassy, I was discreetly taken into his office, where I showed them my last Indian Passport, and within 20 minutes my American Passport was stamped with an Indian Visa. In the meanwhile my contact was engaged in a friendly conversation with the Vice Council. \nThe problem with our Consulates abroad are, they are understaffed. And with the growing numbers of our diaspora in these countries, they are unable to handle the huge workload. And we are not the most polite people on the planet. Hence both sides tend to get into frequent clashes. On the other hand I have been into other nation Consulates, here they all have a system, and an online form filing program that is user friendly and easy to fill out. Everything works like clockwork. In some countries the Indian Consulates do offer emergency services even on weekends.

I live in Bangladesh. If I want private healthcare, I can book an appointment today and possibly see the doctor this evening for $5-$7 per session. The really really good doctors? The professor / vip level ones? $10-$15.\nIf I need to do tests, I'll get em done the same day and probably get the results the day after.\n\nThe government ones? ¢10 but then I would be standing in a line for like 2 hours.\nIn my hometown alone there are 35-40 private hospitals. It's a suburb-ish kinda town. There is also one semi-giant 500 bed government hospital. Most services are free there except AC cabins.\n\nI personally don't wish to go to Canada.

Im currently 15 years old. And i wanted to go to Canada for education. I never wanted to live in America, cause every day i heard about a pretty bad police and Health care and obviously people. \nNiether go to Australia cause there are a lot of dangerous plants and animals (Im not going to lose an eye to a bird, or life to a spider). \nAnd i honestly praying that to the time i get 18-19, Canada became better. I was there, vancouver, around 2018 to before covid, I feel they might have gotton the welfare wrong. my salary after tax,heath insurance is 40% left to settle all my living expenses. and who benefits? eg. drug addicts wait for free drugs every morning, a women keep boring kids to get free welfare, this I heard- a refugee with 3 wives and 12 kids got at least a free house and van courtersy of the local govt, a newly minted immigrant citizen also gotten $1200 senior welfare. Just felt that normal working folks are getting a very short stick. Also not sure if the free university education is all that good, it uses a lot of tax money, but higher earnings go to labour jobs like a roofer could earn $150k vs a business admin graduate earing $60k avg .

While what u said is mostly true, I'd like to add that the top 10% indians dont immigrate to Canada coz the quality of life has degraded there.Your problem isn't too many indian immigrants, issue is too many underqualified indians. Don't allow just anyone to immigrate in your country. Allow only the best. Those who dont get into best Indian/ best US universities go to Canada.

If the post Covid housing crisis were under control, Trudeau would have done something by now. Rent here is no more expensive in the US in fact probably more expensive in New York than in a city like Ottawa Toronto or Montreal. Yes Vancouver is an expensive place to live but not all of it. They don’t need to be deported if they have been background checked and have an application that states they can legally work to get PR, anybody on student and that are unvetted should be deported unless they can provide all documentations or be documented and get jobs in sectors like construction and healthcare. On the Nijjer statement you showed him with an gun which is not illegal unless he had a license for the weapon.

Tue there are many Indians. Many do really really well but what do Indian have to do with whites dying of addiction! Majority of the homeless in Canada are whites. Indians on other hand band together and survive. Thats why live appaling living conditions like 16 people living in same house. Since they are willing to do that some land do exploit them. Most of these landlords are Indian in Brampton and Chinese. However most dont complain because they are willing take pain save some money. Canada is a corporation and I guess the more immigrants WE have then the GDP looks better. I am a Canadian and my mother was born here and my grandmother came to Canada in 1907 from the USA when she was 7 years old. I was born in the 1940s and brought up in rural surroundings. Back then We had traditional beliefs and I had farming background. Connection of relatives and helping our neighbours were how We lived. I became a schoolteacher. I saw that in 1954 when I went to school that learning was not natural and it was fear based. Then I completed a dip. of ed psy and then I decided that if I ever wanted to help change the system that I would require at least an m. ed. - leadership. I knew the university I went to would not be able to say no to me when I applied to get into this program. However, I was too much of an negative influence on the younger students and had to finish the last couple of classes at home and which I did. Today, the families have been divided, people do not connect or communicate properly and I have to question what living skills did I learn? Instead, my head was filled with propaganda which sadly, I've had to relearn. I say, stay in your own country and fix it there. Indian has some wonder ancient wisdoms for healing and health. The OWNERS of our nations like the banking families realize that when new immigrates come in that they assimilate more, and the older generations begin to question what THEY were taught and why. I remember when say a barn burned down or one had to be built that neighbours would help build the barn for the farmer. Then we would all celebrate and the women would get together and cook the food and we would have a barn dance. Life was simple then, but connection was authentic and we didnt lose ourselves. We must know ourselves and our history or we are lost and so many people live in chaos and ignorance. Learn to become our Divine selves. I was an international Student....15 years ago. I paid about 30k in tuition A YEAR.. I was NOT allowed to work off campus, i was allowed to work ON campus for a maximum of 10 hours A WEEK...in order for me to maintain my Visa status i had to maintain a GPA over 3.5 AND i had to be enrolled in an accredited institution. Our international student department had a quota of how many students they could recruit from every country... Rent was affordable, jobs were aplenty and when it came time for an Internship companies would come do hiring fairs and fight to get students to want to work for them. Now they get about 60k applicants a year that are willing to work for free and taking away from actual citizens.\nAfter 8 years of working and grinding and stressing i earned the right to get a Permanent residence...i had to commit 3 years out of 5 to stay here and work here and pay taxes for me to become a Canadian ...it was the proudest day of my life. I was filled with a sense of achievement that has been shat on by these students. \nIf you or anyone would actually like to talk about how it should be feel free to reach out.\nI will tell you this for free...if a Canadian Citizen did this in my country .. they'd be on the first flight home.

As someone born and raised in the Toronto area, it's impossible for me to afford to own a house or apartment here on a teacher's salary. Even rent pushes me to the limit unless I want to live in a... less than nice area. I'm living hand to mouth and enjoying the benefits of living in a 'developed' country less. Here's why:\n\n1. Wages aren't really even close to keeping up with the cost of living. The first tick upwards a bit. The second just keeps rising on the back of housing, food, amenities, and inflation: the four horsemen.\n\n2. Our grocery cabal ruthlessly raise prices whenever we look away, and their lobbyists are all ensconced within the leadership of our three major parties, particularly the Conservatives (so if anyone thinks that electing them will help, they're in for a nasty surprise).\n\n3. We're experiencing 'labour shrinkflation': increasing duties are downloaded onto workers and more is expected: more productivity, more availability (almost 24/7 in some jobs), and higher qualifications. Meanwhile, real wages are decreasing relative to living cost, more positions are 'contract', which is basically a way for employers to not have to give you benefits, and job security is tenuous for a lot of people.\n\n4. Houses are being bought by investors and not owners. Foreign entities are money laundering. The wealthy upper crust of high population countries are moving here and buying property because Canada is (still) more safe and stable and less repressive than their home countries in most cases. \n\n5. There's a cycle beginning: as people are squeezed and forced to spend more on 'needs', they spend less on eating out, entertainment, and other 'wants'. They can raise their prices, of course, but then they price people out completely and their profits still tank. I went to a decent steakhouse for my dad's 60th last week. I can't remember the last time that I went to one before that. \n\n6. Our politicians and news cycles focus on the most niche and irrelevant stuff because it'll stoke anger and get tongues wagging. This carbon thing is almost a non-issue, but our conservative leader is harping on about it like it's singlehandedly the death of the Canadian economy when it's a drop in the bucket. Trudeau focuses on 'equity' measures, hoping for a bit of cheap good press, while his efforts are, for the most part, just window dressing and the issues, while meaningful, are often not of paramount importance or even applicable to the vast majority of the people who elected him. Meanwhile, the middle class is pretty much evaporating as he speaks. The NDP keep talking about this in a pretty real way, for what it's worth, but Jagmeet Singh is giving off an increasing vibe of just being another fat cat politician beneath his rhetoric these days. Also, third-party trolls and screeching conservatives try to bury him on social media whenever he speaks... a lot more than other leaders as well, oddly. I wonder why? Oh yeah, the Greens exist and there's Quebec and the conspiracy theory party.\n\n\nUltimately, what we're experiencing is the revenge of the feudal system. Instead of paying rents to your lord and doing labour on the land for him whenever commanded to, you pay rent to your landlord now and go to work even when you're sick or when work hours are over because you have no union protection or are working 'on contract'. Unless we want to live in the armpit of nowhere, 95% of us are going to be wage slaves living hand-to-mouth, not owning our own property, and working to please our corporate overlords if current trends continue unchecked. While some of Canada's problems are unique, I fear that most aren't. As for me, I'm headed to the 'armpit of nowhere' where I can at least have a ghost of a chance of affording life.

This won't help PEI at all like they claim, if they're given an extension. I spoke to someone from my company who works remotely in PEI and he said he was only there for PR and once he gets it he'll move to Brampton because all his friends are there. I asked is the a normal thing and he said most people do it because it's easier to get PR outside of Ontario. He complains about how boring it is in PEI and how all his friends are in Brampton and can't wait to move there. This is going to be the case for all these people protesting. They're only there for the PR and then once they get it they'll move out of PEI. Ontario is going to suffer more from this.
